No one does cowboys like Cora Seton!
Comfort reading for the win! Cora knows how to write a cowboy. Lovely small town romance and a great end to the series.
Steel and Stella ~ the last of the “feuding Turners vs Coopers” to become entangled. But marriage? I was expecting this last book of the series to be a kind of let down, I mean, really ~ how many twists and turns can there BE in this family?? But OH MY GOODNESS! I **NEVER** SAW THIS COMING!!! This was a TERRIFIC bang to end the series! AWESOME!!!! I can only hope we’ll see more of the Turner-Coopers in future, even though I’ve read that Ms Seton plans to take a break from Chance Creek . . . but I’ve loved ALL of her stories . . . I will miss these fun people!
Love all of Cora Seton.
I have loved all of the Cora Seton books I have read.
I enjoyed reading this book i have always loved cowboys good plot and great characters fun reading
After a few twists and turns Stella and Steel are finally together.
A great story to end a very good series.
I loved the whole series!1
I thought it was a great book.
What an amazing way to finish this series. Once again, Cora Seton doesn’t disappoint.
Between the feud, trying to find a murderer and the attraction between Steel and Stella.
Very sad that this is the end of the series. I always feel like I get to know the characters and here we are at the end.
What an amazing ride this has been!!!
Just what I needed…a brand new Cora Seton small town cowboy romance to curl up with. YAY!!!
What a great final tuner and coopers story, this has been another wonderful addition to Chance Creek.
Chance Creek is one fictional town I never get tired of visiting it is chock full of amazing and endearing characters who always find trouble at every turn so boredom is never found…lol
Stella and Steel have always been perfect for each other, they just needed to both put the past behind them and move on together…
I have to say I loved the New Years wrap up at the end it brought the whole series to a great close.
If you love a small town romance with a swoony cowboy hero and headstrong heroine, you won’t want to miss the emotional finale to this series!
Finally, the story of Steel and Stella! This story is light and romantic, and deep on levels that most of us don’t want to ever understand. Girls are being targeted by a killer. Can they be saved by an unlikely hero? And goodness gracious! Will Jed and Virginia finally bury the hatchet? This entire series has kept me captivated. A must read!
ARC for honest review with no compensation
The Cowboy’s Forbidden Bride is book 5 and the final book in the Turners vs Coopers of Chance Creek series by Cora Seton.
Steele Cooper, undercover detective who everyone including his family thinks he is on the wrong side of the law but really is just trying to right the wrongs of his father and solve the 13 year mystery of a serial killer of young women who are overdosing in Silver Falls and Chance Creek. Who also has feeling for Stella Turner but because of the Turner, Cooper feud doesn’t think he is good enough for her.
Stella Turner works in the sheriff’s department in Chance Creek, sort of dating a sheriff’s deputy and want to become a deputy herself. She has known Steele for a long time and has felt an attraction for him but believes that being on the wrong side of the law is a deal breaker for her.
Will Steele find the serial killer before another girl dies, will secrets be revealed, who will win the Founders Prize, will Steele and Stella become a couple and a secret relationship you didn’t see coming….what an amazing ending to this series!!
Wow! What a finale! Ms Seton has certainly brought this series to a close in splendid fashion, fireworks, and lots of them, included! Her ability to tell a story and have you feel like you are there and a part of it, continues to astound me. Her characters are real, vibrant yet down to earth, and each have their own stories to tell. And believe me, they are all worth the read…each and every one of them. In this, the finale of the Turners vs Coopers series, we finally get to hear Stella and Steels’ story, learning their struggles and hurdles, as they find their way to each other. We also get some much needed closure with Uncle Jed and Aunt Virginia, and their decades old tale, never before revealed. Considered a standalone, this book can definitely be read as one, but so much better if you’ve followed the many crews from Chance Creek. A must read!
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
Couldn’t wait to read more about Steel and Stella but then once I started I didn’t want to finish the book as I knew it was the last one in the series.
Loved Steel, knew there was more to him than how he had been portrayed in previous books. As for the ending of this book well just love it.
Amazing read you’ll love it but please read the other books in this series (in order) first – pure escapism
OMG, this book blurb! Yes, please!!
Readers return to Chance Creek in this final installment of the series from Cora Seton. It’s the best of small town, friends and family romance, with classic cowboy heroes and strong women.
