She’s moved home, but can she move on?One night with professional bull rider Trent Campbell had been everything that Kelly Sullivan had fantasized about. Unfortunately, it cost her everything. When she became pregnant, her father threw her out because she wouldn’t tell him the baby’s father was his rodeo hero—the hero who ghosted her when she tried so many times to tell him about their daughter.… about their daughter.
Trent Campbell never forgot the best night of his life. It was what kept him going when a 2,000-lbs bull ended his career and almost his life. Throughout his long recovery, thinking of Kelly and wishing he still had his stolen phone so he could contact her, were what got him through the tough days—that, and his bull-headed stubbornness that he’d not only walk again, he’d ride.
When Kelly returns to Last Stand, Texas, in a last-ditch effort to keep her family from selling the Three Sisters Ranch, she has a plan to make her father proud of her again by turning part of the land into a portrait studio location. Her father, however, has already temporary leased Trent some land for a rodeo school. Kelly and Trent still have the same explosive chemistry, but now the stakes are higher. If she lets Trent into her life, it won’t only be her heart he breaks this time if he leaves, it will be their daughter’s.

I loved this book so much I don’t even know where to start. After a passionate night with bull rider, Trent, Kelly found out she was pregnant. She tried to contact Trent but he didn’t answer her texts or respond to her calls left on his cell or with his manager. It turns out that Trent lost his phone and has been thinking about her constantly, but never got her last name so he had no way of finding her. Because Trent was Kelly’s father’s hero, she didn’t want to tell her Dad who fathered her baby. In response, Kelly’s dad kicked her off of Three Sister’s Ranch. Now Kelly has returned to the ranch with her 5 year old daughter to help dig out the ranch from financial difficulties and finds that Trent is leasing part of the ranch to build a bull riding school. I liked how the characters were both flawed but admirable and they were both mature and faced problems head on. Despite the misunderstanding that occurred 6 years before, they both realized that it was neither their faults and they both wanted to start over and get to know each other while Trent also wanted to get to know his daughter. The book set up future stories with the other two sisters and potential suitors. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Kelly has a one night stand with a professional bull rider and gets pregnant. When she won’t tell her father who the father is, he kicks her out. She tries to get ahold of Trent but his manager keeps getting in the way. She moves to New York with her aunt and becomes a photographer. Trent is at the top of his game when he is thrown from a bull and severely injured. The rehabilitation is painful but he is back in his hometown and about to open a bull riding school. Kelly comes back because her father is about to lose their ranch. She finds out Trent has leased part of the land for his school. Now that Trent is in her life, she has to find a way to tell him and her family that he’s the father of her child. Can they save the ranch and their family too?
Good story with romance and sex. A busted up former bull rider and a photographer trying to make things right.

I truly love this book. misunderstandings on many fronts caused problems and heart ache for this family. there were twists in the tale and you wondered how it would turn out and it kept you guessing. great cowboy read.
Touching, Endearing, Love Story
A very touching story on many different levels that kept me engaged until the end. Found the end very satisfying. All the characters were well written even though the patriarch, Frank Sullivan seemed somewhat over the top. It appears there will be two more storylines featuring the other daughters of the Three Sisters Ranch.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure and am looking forward to book two and three.

What a great book! Trent and Kelly could have had a totally different story if “people” would’ve stayed out of it. I love how it unfolded though! Sometimes you just have to tell people to back off and stand up for yourself!

Kelly hadn’t been home since her father threw her out of the house for being pregnant. But now he father called to tell her to come back one more time before they sell the Three Sisters Ranch. Her parents want to meet their granddaughter who is now 5 years old. She didn’t want to tell her parents about Trent who was a professional bull rider. Kelly had told Trent’s manager him that she was pregnant and he have him call if he was interested in being a father.. She was hoping to not see Trent while she was home but she did want to show Alissa the rodeo. Trent leaned on the fence and thought about Kelly the strawberry blonde he met so many years ago. Trent runs into Kelly at the bar with her friends and he remembered her. She was wondering how she could approach him and tell him about his daughter. Trent confronts his manager about the phone call that Kelly told him she made to his manager. Billy’s tell him to get DNA test to make sure she is his daughter. Kelly’s dad bought his granddaughter gear for mutton bustin and also bought a sheep. Trent is trying to stay in Alissa and Kelly lives but things take another turn when he finds out he has a son. Kelly is broken hearted can she still see herself with Trent? Twists,Turns and paternity suits makes this an interesting book.
This is their last stand.
An excellent second chance read.
Kelly Sullivan paid a steep price for a one night stand that left her pregnant at 22. She was kicked out by her father, pregnant and with no help or support from the baby daddy, bull rider Trent Campbell.
Kelly tried repeatedly to get in touch with Trent, calls, texts, calling is manager repeatedly to let him know he was a father to her baby girl Alissa. But he completely ghosted.
Now, six years later, she’s back in Last Stand to open up a photography studio.
Trent Campbell was a player, sowing his oats and everyone else’s. He has fond memories of Kelly but didn’t know he was a pops. His bull riding career was derailed by a bull and it’s been a long road to recovery. He’s back in town to open a bull riding school on Kelly’s family ranch.
Can the get it right this time, past all the hurts and be a family?
Second chance done right.
Recommend.

This here is a story easy to love. At least if you love cowboy romances. This one just aces it all. The storyline is really good and the characters just fabulous. I really loved the ornery dad who dares to throw out one of his daughters… lets say no more about that or the story, better to read it for yourself. But this one I really loved, cowboy theme and all and there is just no way that I can give any less than five stars for this one. Five stars is something I hardly ever dish out, but this one really deserved it.
