First baby of the New Year…delivered by a cowboy! When Wyoming cowboy Brice DeWitt placed an ad for a housekeeper-cook at his Flying D Ranch, he expected a sturdy, mature woman—not a petite, pregnant applicant who was about to deliver on his doorstep.Madison Carlyle needed his protection—and his name. But an isolated Wyoming ranch in the middle of winter was no place for a new mother and child. … for a new mother and child. If he let them stay, he risked his heart. But if he sent them away, would he miss his best chance at having the one thing he’d always wanted? A family?

Loved it
Interesting storyline. Strong characters. Kept your interest as you weren’t sure how story would end.
It developed the story nicely. While the ending was somewhat predictable it really wasn’t. Good, entertaining fast read.
Loved the characters; loved the story! Baby was adorable!
Great!
I loved this book ! Of course, there’s nothing better than western books unless it’s western books with babies!
It was a fun easy read. Loved the characters.
This book is a great read. I could not put it down. It had it all.
So happy to find a book that was not full of sex scenes and the F word.
I loved this book
Fun, contemporary, small town Western romance. This is pegged as a marriage of convenience story, but it’s more a marriage for protection story. Pregnant woman on the run takes a job as a housekeeper/cook in the middle of winter on a Wyoming working ranch. She delivers right after arriving, and our hero is the only one available to help her. Both characters are guarding their hearts because of past hurtful life lessons. They’re perfect for each other, but have a hard time figuring it out. Lots of good dialogue between Brice and Madison. It was an enjoyable read.
I especially liked the way it ended for some reason, the thought of the couple standing in their living room talking.
A bit predictable but cute.
There was something so wonderfully good and full of hope and love about this book that soothed my inner being. It made me sigh and made me smile.
