She’s a struggling veterinarian. He’s an entitled billionaire rancher. Will they fight against each other? Or fight together to save the animals… rich-type.
Elizabeth Brown is irritated. Sterling has a sarcastic mouth, rich-man attitude, disarming smile and chiseled jaw.
He needs to learn a thing or two about the real world.
Elizabeth is appalled at the condition of the animals and their pens. Selfish rich ranchers. Spending a ton on themselves but hardly giving their animals the bare minimum in care.
Sterling has never met anyone like Elizabeth. She speaks her mind. Nobody has ever told him before that he’s wrong. Or that maybe his family isn’t good as they’d like to think.
He doesn’t see anything wrong with how they are doing things on the ranch. They make a good profit—billions, in fact.
So why does he feel drawn to the force of nature that is Ms. Elizabeth Brown?

The Cowboy Falls For The Veterinarian is book 3 of The Miller Brothers Of Texas series. This story centers around Sterling the younger of the twins, the 4th brother of the McLintoc Miller clan. McLintoc raised his family under a iron hand. He came from old money and looked down on anyone that wasn’t rich as they were. He considered any woman his boys dated that were not wealthy gold diggers. Sterling has wandered around for several years just waiting around to be needed by his family like Solomon and Silas at helping to build the “empire” but, at what cost? By fate Sterling meets Elizabeth Brown, a veterinarian that was at the lowest point in her life when she meets Sterling. An emergency with one of the pigs happened at just the right moment to need a veterinarian and what luck it was she just happened to be a veterinarian. The deeper meaning of this story seemed to be that both of them felt they needed to be made to feel important in their life. Elizabeth knew she was a good veterinarian and was ready to prove it to the Millers. So Sterling hired Elizabeth as the veterinarian to prepare a perspective on what she said they needed to do in order for their pigs to be happy. The day Mclintoc finds out that Sterling is seeing a African American woman, he explodes. Sterling stands up to his father for the first time. He would not allow anyone to talk bad about Elizabeth. He felt Sterling was besmirching the Miller name as one of his old cronies told of Sterling and Elizabeth being seen out together. Elizabeth could hold her own bantering with Sterling and she filled a part of him that made him for once in his life fill alive, feel needed, feel loved. But was Elizabeth feeling the same thing for him?

This is the first book of this series that I have read. I really didn’t feel that it should be read as a stand-alone. I spent a great deal of time trying to follow and understand what was going on with the Miller family’s situation. With all of the sons, it seemed like the father didn’t get along with any of them.
This book was written in a dual POV format. It is my preferred format. I normally can connect with the characters better but I really didn’t feel it with these two. In fact, for several chapters, I didn’t even know Elizabeth was black. There were no description of the characters’ physical looks. The male cover at least gave me something to go on for Sterling.
I didn’t connect with this book and was glad to finish. I don’t know if I want to read another from this series as the conflict between father and sons was just too much for me to follow.
This is my first time reading something by Ms. Dean and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. This is a really sweet romance you do not want to miss out on. I was captivated from the very first page till the very end. The plot was interesting and the story flowed nicely. Loved the bi-racial relationship aspect. Sterling and Elizabeth were a great couple.
The dynamics between the two was wonderful. The chemistry between them was definitely undeniable. It was great to see the love between these two grow. I have not read the other books in this series, but this one was a very well written story and I can’t wait to read the next one!

In The Cowboy Falls for the Veterinary by Natalie Dean brings two worlds together with a BANG! But proves different lifestyles can be a good thing.
Sterling felt like ‘the spare, younger twin’ all his life but meeting Elizabeth who is determined, knows what she wants and how to get it life becomes a challenge and a pleasant (at least mostly) an adventure.
This is a fun, easy reading story that you become involved in with laughter, shaking of head and then happiness.
THE COWBOY FALLS FOR THE VETERINARIAN
This is a lovely, clean romance. Sterling, an aimless son of a billionaire rancher, helps Elizabeth (NOT Lizzy), a recently fired female veterinarian whose car broke down. Suddenly, she’s helping him with a sow having a difficult, dangerous birth. The next thing he knows she is shouting at him about raising pigs in a horrible environment and he’s hiring her to fix everything. Good story, fun characters, great dialogue. I was delighted with this entertaining book.
This Book 3 in the Miller Brothers of Texas Series is a very well-written story. His identical twin seems to get more attention and he almost feels invisible. Hiring Elizabeth to care for their farm animals was a sudden decision but getting to know her was changing his life and making him into a better man. These very well-developed characters have an exciting chemistry between them and it is realistic. Their romance is a real roller-coaster with a lot of ups and downs. Loved it. A must read

A well written story with nice storyline and plot. Chemistry between the main characters is good. They are well described and develops through the story.
Both characters wants to win their life for themselves and make a statement. They join forces and have to go through a lot.
Nice story without that much action and steam. Readable and enjoyable.

Sterling Miller met Dr. Elizabeth Brown after she had just lost her job and was stranded on the side of the road with a broken down car. She saves one of his family ranch’s expectant pigs and he ends up hiring her as the ranch’s veterinarian and to improve the conditions of the farm animals. I liked her suggestions and learned a lot about what makes pigs happy. She cared about the animals and not what she could profit from it, even risking her life to save a cat and her kittens. Sterling has always had money so he doesn’t understand how she has so many bills that she struggles to pay. They have arguments over their differences. There were plenty of sweet, funny, and rocky moments in this clean romance.
Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!

Billionaire cowboy Sterling Miller gives unemployed veterinarian Elizabeth Brown a ride when her car breaks down and she’s stranded. On the way, Sterling gets a call that a pig is in trouble delivering her babies. Elizabeth tells him to take her to the pig so she can help. She does save the pig and the piglets, but she cannot believe how poorly the animals have been cared for!
After dealing with his bruised ego, having never had anyone speak to him like that, he hires Elizabeth to implement better conditions for their livestock. With her zest for life and strength of character, she’s the perfect solution to his own issues. Can she bring out the confidence and passion in Sterling as well? And how will she stand up to Sterling’s father when he disagrees with her recommendations for the animals?
The third book in the Miller Brothers of Texas series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Billionaire Cowboy Sterling Miller and Veterinarian Elizabeth Brown’s story that I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Cowboy Falls for the Veterinarian helped me pass a most pleasant rainy afternoon! This is the story of Elizabeth (don’t call her Lizzy!), a newly practicing veterinarian, and Sterling, the middle son of the Texas Millers. This book has a bit of a meet-cute. Elizabeth starts a trek to the city when her car breaks down. She meets up with Sterling and asks him for a ride. He agrees, but receives a call that a pig is having trouble with a birth. Elizabeth says “Take me to her . . . right now” Of course she saves the pig and piglets, but is appalled at the living conditions of the animals. Sterling hires her to improve the pigs environment. (I loved that Sterling got Teddy to fix Elizabeth’s car.) This is a very intriguing romance with interesting characters. Don’t miss it.
3.5**** stars Elizabeth is driving down a pretty deserted country road when her car dies, so she gets out and decides to hoof it. After about 15 minutes she meets Sterling who brings her home to the family ranch. When she see the condition of the animals she is aghast because she is a veterinarian. She goes off on him about animal abuse and neglect. He has the brilliant idea to hire her to make improvements. He is a middle child in a large billionaire family and feels the need to prove his worth. Daddy is the dictator of the family and rules with an iron fist. Sadly, all the brothers feel oppressed and can’t wait to leave. His cousin’s family is close and loving. He’s missing something. She gets under his skin, much to the dismay of his father because she is mixed race. You are only acceptable to Daddy if you are rich and connected. Sterling is color blind. He has serious self esteem and confidence issues. At his age, it’s time to make a stand. The H is not very strong and the h has the backbone. It was a little sluggish. It was entertaining.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
I really liked the fact that this is not your typical BWWM story. Elizabeth is strong, opinionated and driven. Sterling has quite a time trying to understand what drives her, along the way discovering that while she is outspoken, she is not cruel or bitter. She helps him see another side to him that is rather endearing. Lovely story
This was a great installment in this series. I really liked the bits of racial difference and how much time was spent with the two main characters as friends. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens in this family.
