I’ve come to learn that the Coven Series is an epic adventure it’s not a light read. It has a Harry Potter vibe while standing out on its own but being a big HP fan I noticed some similarities but not enough to make me say ok I can’t read this. This series is young adult as you are dealing with 20 year olds. I really liked Salem. You can tell he just wanted to be good even for his own sake. His childhood and teenage years broke my heart I can’t imagine having to endure what he went through. The love between him and Daphne can be felt through the pages. The Coven History isn’t all smiles and falling in love it’s full of grief and loss. I’m glad I got to read this series so if you love epic adventure, magic, falling in love and choosing the greater good then this is the story for you.
The Coven History is just what the title implies. We are taken to the past, to Salem and Daphne’s history, where all the questions you might have had from previous books are answered. It ends on a cliffhanger and I was left on the edge of my seat, simultaneously blowing my nose into a tissue and cursing out loud. Suffice it to say, the next installment had better not take too long to be released lol. I need it like I need my next breath!
The Coven History, book 4 of The Coven Series, is another fantastic read from author, Lily Luchesi.
In this installment we learn the details of Salem’s life as a youngster at the coven His daughter, Harley, journeys back through his memories to find a cure to prevent his death.
Harley witnesses the hardship and taunting that Salem endured, but also sees her the love and romance between her mother and father. There are twists and surprises for both Harley and the reader.
Does Harley find the cure for Salem? What does she discover about her father and her friends? You’ll need to read this book to find out.
Lily Luchesi is a brilliant author who continues to impress me with her writing, her plots and her characters. Her books grab you from page one and you live alongside the characters, sharing the same range of emotions as they do.
I loved this book and I love the series. I’m looking forward to the next installment.
In this book we get to see the life of Salem as he is growing up. We truly get to see what happened with the love of his life, his friends??, and his enemies. It is surely a wild ride. This is all seen by Harley as she tries to find a cure to save him.
Ms. Luchesi once again immerses you in a story that is riddled with darkness, along with light. There are enemies, secrets, grief, and some adventure with plenty of magic. She does a phenomenal job of creating a magical world that takes you away from your everyday life. Each character in this series has been through so much and her writing makes you feel every one of their emotions.
