Texas rancher and bar owner Cassidy Flynn is shocked to learn the bride’s name in an upcoming high society wedding – Cassiopeia Dolmides. Cassidy is a woman of secrets; the deepest is the identity she was born with and thought she had escaped long ago. If this bride is impersonating Cassidy, what trouble will that cause Cassidy and her infant son?
Greek tycoon Theron Christofides needs to gain … needs to gain possession of Dolmides Cruise Lines and the little Greek island where it left a shipwrecked eyesore. A lot of people are at risk without his intervention. Old man Dolmides will sell on one condition: Theron must marry Dolmides’ illegitimate daughter. Seeing no other way to rescue the island’s people, Theron agrees to sacrifice himself and his future.
As Theron stands at the altar with his bride-to-be, a fiery-haired woman in snakeskin boots and a cowboy hat interrupts their vows by calling his bride a fraud. In order for the wedding to continue, Theron must convince Cassidy Flynn to drop her lawsuit. Can he withstand Cassidy’s allure while he gains her cooperation? Or will they both be consumed by the fire of desire?

I loved this book! Cassidy is my favorite kind of heroine: tough and sassy on the outside with a soft inner core full of vulnerability on the inside. In Theron, the Greek billionaire marrying the wrong bride, Cass has met her match. Liberty Blake creates a story full of twists and turns. I would have loved to see a little more development between Cassidy and her mom, but I hope when we revisit these fabulous characters (Ajax has a secret bride?!), we’ll see more there. A nearly flawless tale told with spirit, wit, and lots of charm.
I so wish I had some of Cassie’s attributes. But God made me not so assertive so I shall live vicariously through books. Thanks for this book i found it charming and hard to put down. Cassie is the essential take charge kind of Texas gal. She takes charge when she needs to but lets others help when she is in a pinch
This is a great book. Something a bit different than what I normally read but it was worth the risk of moving to something new.
Cousins
Her aunt & uncle, and crazy cousin pretty much tried tracking over her life. But she stopped the wedding in Greece, now she has to deal with a father and mother who really didn’t want her and can man who needed her.
Great, great and fun read!!
Very steamy book, really good but it had a strange ending for me.
This was a great book. It starts with Cassidy stopping a wedding because the bride says she is Cassiopeia Dolmides. But that can’t be because that is who Cassidy is.
Cassidy was a day old when she was sent to live with Grammie. Cassidy had a good life. She was dearly loved and had a good friend who looked after her. Everything was great until her Aunt and Uncle moved in with them when she was a teen. Then the uncle kept trying to seduce her so she ran away after Grammie died.
Cassidy owned a ranch as well as a bar in Texas, where she never put up with anything from the customers. I loved that she was a strong, independent woman. When she learns that a wedding is taking place in Greece and she is the bride, she heads there to stop it. When she gets there, she finds her cousin pretending to be her so that she can marry billionaire Theron Christofides. Turns out that the wedding was part of a business deal.
This book had me hoping for the couple to fall in love but wondering how that could happen when Theron was so sure Cassidy was the imposter. Then it had me laughing, too.
This is an adventure you shouldn’t miss.
Was very disappointed in it. Did not like nor could I get into it and I read many books a week. Probably from my 3 to 6 books a week. Didn’t not read it all the way through. Skipped to the end.
The ending was very rushed. Felt like the author was in a hurry to get the story over with.
Not my favorite at all…
It was a bit silly
Took to long to get to the point
I enjoyed the book.
I imagine the hero and heroin should have explained their impulsive actions, but that was part of the story. Reallly enjoyed the book.
A little uneven but very good in parts of the story.
This book was just okay. Nothing outstanding about it.
I don’t know if I would read another book by this author.
Felt like the book was all over the place and skipped around a lot.
A great read. Well thought out plot. Very engaging. Enjoyed it alot
This was first time reading this author, I’m sorry it was All over the place (literally bouncing from continent to continent) I thought it was a very bizarre read. Sorry just my opinion.
This was an ok read..
Witty banter and fun to read with likeable characters that speak to your heart. Good writing and interesting story makes this an easy read.
