Good book: romantic and slightly predictable, but clean. When city girl Elizabeth’s fiance cancels out on her, she goes alone to a cottage by the sea. She meets the guy next door and it changes her life. She sells everything and moves to said cottage. It takes awhile, not without twists and turns, but it ends happily ever after…. but leaves room for her sister in the next book.
Loved this one!!!
Loved it until Lizzie left Max, I thought I’d cry. I couldn’t stand it. But sometimes you just have to keep turning the page.
A new author for me. I really enjoyed the setting at Hope Cove and it was an uplifting story. The character are wonderful and you will keep reading to the end. Highly recommend this fine story.
An interesting read with an unpredictable conclusion.
I enjoyed this book.
This story was a nice read that didn’t require a great deal of thought. There was a certain amount of predictability to the plot although there were some twists that were very unexpected.
Nice characters if predictable. Good entertainment while it lasted. Would not read more if a series, as endings to books in a series are frustrating more often than not.
Great summer read!
Very good read. Characters were original and the story was so believable.
Fell in love with the characters. I didn’t want their story to end!
I enjoyed reading this book. It kept me turning page after page. Lizzie is a great character and a workaholic even on vacation. Max is so easy going and relaxed. Josie, I cannot wait for Josie’s story!!
The author captures the essence of the specific setting and brings it to life with colorful descriptions that set the stage for romantic involvement. The clever plot provides a will she/won’t she tension throughout the story. An excellent and engaging read.
Easy read with a great plot
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Kept me interested until the last page!!!
Good summer time book to relax with
A story about finding oneself and, of course, love.
