The day Lucy arrives at Amaris, she sees her best friend, Sam Spencer. But Sam had died three years ago, on the night that had changed Lucy’s life forever. The more Lucy looks for answers, the worse things get for her, as she makes an enemy of the richest, most popular boy in school, Tennyson Wilde.

Forced to rely on Sam, Tennyson and the other Golden to survive, Lucy is determined to get to the bottom of things once and for all. But the more she learns, she finds that being tiny might not be her biggest problem.

This boxset has three imaginative tales set in a high school full of magic and mischief. I don’t read many teen/young adult books and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was pulled into Lucy’s adventures at Amaris High. Each book finds Lucy in a new mess of trouble and takes her on quite the adventure. Reminiscent of the Harry Potter series, the stories are fast-paced and fun, the characters are interesting, and the dialogue and situations are witty and often hilarious, and the world-building is fantastic. Much like any high school, friends can become enemies and vice versa with bullies, cliques, and the rumor mill. It’s a world of teenage angst (but not too much) mixed with magic and werewolves.
the main character Lucy, I finde ger to be a bit overdramatic and she uses the same words to insults people. For example, jerk. which is a bit juvenile. And for a smart and intelligent character, I think her vernacular can be expounded upon. other than that the first 3 books are ok and I plan on reading books 4-6.
This is a great book for young teens to read.
This book is so good. You read this whole book in one setting and you going to want to read the rest of the series. this is a series that makes you want to go to the next book and be thinking what happens what is this Arthur thinking oh my God you just going to fall in love with this book
I love these books, found them hard to put down. Lucy, the main character is awkward and funny!
great books I loved it
Loved these books and went on to the next ones. Enjoyed them. Cute storyline. And funny with all the things happening to main character.
An easy read, and very entertaining.
Freshman year has its challenges. A dirt poor girl gets a scholarship to a fancy prep school, only to have classmates harass her both physically and emotionally; the only people who will associate with her are super rich werewolves and her roommate—a witch who curses her and the entire school. Oh yes, she also discovers that she’s also a werewolf and her crazy racist father wants to kidnap her do experiments on her. Not to mention putting the school in a time loop. Well written with just the right blend of teen angst, I read all three books in about 2 days. The trio of sophomore year books are equally entertaining.
This book is best for someone in middle school to early high school. The way the main character is portrayed yo-yos between a whiny pre-teen and a mature young adult. There are definitely cringe-worthy lines.
This set of books was a great read. They are easy to follow and holds your attention easily. Give the book a try.
Loved them. Ready for the next one in March.
First plus: She actually knows how to write English! Many of the books I’ve read lately dont. Second plus: I hate books about vampires and werewolves, but she manages to catch and hold my interest. She is a good writer. I read all three books and I want to read more. That is the sign of a good writer.
I really enjoyed reading the first three of this series going to read the rest!
I’ve re-read this series many times, and I am looking forward to the new one.
Really good series. Anxiously awaiting the next installment.
Keeps you wondering who the real bad guys are
Loved the characters and could not put the books down!
This book series is a fun read that continually leaves you wanting more.
It was pretty predictable. The character relationshipset don’t feel fully developed. I feel like a lot of “stuff” got left out. Not my favorite, but someone else’s cup of tea for sure
