Eighteen years ago a teenage pregnancy changed Kate Worthington’s life forever. Faced with many difficult decisions, she chose to follow her heart and embrace an uncertain future with the father of her baby and her devoted first love.
At the same time, in another part of the world, sixteen-year-old Ryan Hamilton makes his own share of mistakes, but learns important lessons along the way. Twenty … way. Twenty years later, Kate’s and Ryan’s paths cross in a way they could never expect, which makes them question the possibility of destiny. Even when all seems hopeless, could it be that everything happens for a reason, and we end up exactly where we are meant to be?

I highly recommend this entire series and suggest it be read in order.
Love the Color of Heaven series. They are all great books and wonderful characters
I’m enjoying the series The Color of Heaven one book at a time. They make you think about life & how things unfold, are we fated to live a certain life?
Always a great read! Her books do not disappoint.
This story took so many twists that I found myself having to stop and think about what just happened before I could continue to read. It is a warm story with tragedy and loss that is filled with wonderful surprise out comes. Well worth the time to read this book.
Easy reading
Well written and interesting. I like the style of writing and I felt like I really knew the characters, as if in real life.
Very well written with great character development. I didn’t realize at first that this was a series so will now start at the beginning so I get the complete picture.
The whole series is awesome
Good reading.
So far Julianne MacLean has not let me down. The Color of Destiny was a great fast read. Ms. MacLean has threaded storylines from Color of Heaven into the Color of Destiny and the lines held. I enjoyed the story and couldn’t stop reading until it was over. Perhaps the only fault was the story was not as long as the original. Color of Heaven was …
I didn’t want to put it down. Destiny or fate, but it was a great story. I would advise everyone to read it.
Wonderful. The way all the individual stories connected was amazing
Loved the book
I finished this book because it had a lot of twists and turns. Sometimes when you finish a book you get this smile of satisfaction because it was a compelling story and you liked the characters. Sometimes you jump right ahead and order the next book in the series you like it so much. No so here. I probably will not read any more from this …
A very good and interesting story of meeting people in your life that you were destined to meet. As a Christian, I believe it’s God at work, however there’s no Christianity in this book so it’s ascribed to destiny. The author introduces you to several characters and tells the story from some of their points of view. There is much heartache but …
A tremendous read. The characters were wonderful, heart warming.
It’s been a year or so since I read this but I have enjoyed all of Julianne MacLean’s “heaven” series. Her books have different twists, sometimes tragic, but interesting concepts and otherworldly events.
