THE COLLABORATOR,
works against the obvious.
A plan,
so well designed undetected.
So arrogant,
laughs in your face.
Thus pursued,
with stealth and vindictiveness.
Yet unbeknownst,
a secret does dwell.
A story,
in and of itself.
Here revealed,
as each word read.
Is waiting,
for you to discover.
May read,
over and over again.
There is,
much to take in.
Each piece,
waiting to be placed.
Like working,
a very special puzzle.
For the,
whole world to see.
Within misery,
the sun does rise.
Starting over,
after tears do dry.
That not,
all lost or forgotten.

SIDE NOTE:
worth the purchase!

Really enjoyed the book, always like a happy ending. Many people are judged before facts are known. It’s easier to belittle than learn. Happiness should be enjoyed by everyone and mostly this happened within this book.
This was an amazing book. Could not put it down!
It felt so true as one of the many stories to come out of the Holocaust. With many friends whose families died in the camps, I was so happy to read of one group that was saved by heroic measures.
I only hope that future generations will remember these stories as truth rather than fiction. My own father was part of a liberation force at one of the camps, but was unable to share the story of the atrocities he saw. This helps me to see the entire picture as it really was.
Loved this. Well crafted and written. It makes me want to go back and read Exodus and others by Potok
Moving story line . Recommend!
This is one of those books that leave a truly lasting impression. It starts with a young woman of Jewish heritage but not brought up Jewish who tries to figure out what happened. She will travel to Budapest, Hungary and later to Israel. The book at times takes you back to the time of Hitler (e.g. I did not know that Eichmann was the one who had been sent to Hungary to exterminate the Jews), then to the young woman journalist. While it is a novel a lot is based on historic facts. One also gets a glimpse of the tumultuous situations in Israel itself. This book is written in such a clever way, it is just amazing.
Interesting story that illuminates a part of WW2 history I was unaware of. Thought provoking.
It was incredibly realistic based on the Holocaust and what many people endured.
It was thought provoking
Complicated character interaction. Flips from past to present frequently
Really enjoyed it
Very good. Both happy and sad.
Love historical fiction based upon facts, and I learned quite a lot about Israel’s history. Author pointed out which points/characters she had created.
I learned more about the WWII aftermath in Israel which I didn’t know about. The main character, Annika, was interesting to follow as she learned secrets about her family. The 2-story telling was engaging.
I just couldn’t get into it. Wooden characters. Slow moving – did it move? I read about 65 pages & gave it up.
Very well written book, timely reading at any point in history.
Base on a true story, turned into a novel so you can relate to the characters.
