The Cinderella hour. The midnight chimes of magic, of fairy tales, and of love. An enchanted hour for those who dare . . . Sixteen years ago, Snow Ashley Gable fled Chicago, running away from the kind of loss that comes with love—and from a friendship that turned into betrayal. Now she is coming home, bringing her successful late-night radio talk show, “The Cinderella Hour,” to the Windy City.… the Windy City.
There are risks for Snow in returning home—risks and fears. The father she never knew. The mother who indulged in dangerous fantasies. The high school heiress who uncovered her greatest secret. And above all, most of all, there is Lucas Kilcannon, the troubled boy she loved, will always love.
Luke has never forgotten Snow or the love they shared. His fury that she ran away from their love, without warning or explanation, still burns deep and bright. He wants to know why Snow fled, and he intends to find out. He plans to see her, confront her, and insist that she tell him the truth.
But it’s a truth Snow doesn’t fully know—not yet—for there are secrets that have been in hiding, all these years, even from her.

I didn’t really care for this one. Not a particularly interesting story or well written. Sorry.
This was one of those
Stories that when you start reading you don’t want to put them down. The felt things for each other at such a young age, but each has secrets they held but knew they could depend on each other. Then he got sent away when his house caught fire and his dad died and he came back it was hard to be close but they tried. She got pregnant, but her mom needed to hide. The twist and turns of this story make you think and cry.
While a great concept, the book overall fell flat. The beginning was very detailed and drawn out but the end felt rushed and everything fell into place too quickly and conveniently to feel realistic.
Loved all the characters in this book. Loved the twists and turns in the development of the story, This is one that I would read again. I really couldn’t put it down I just had to know the “who dun it” .
it was just not a great book and didn’t seem to fit the title. Just my thought.
Touching story with unexpected twists. Loved it even as I cried!
Loved this book. Puts you through the whole range of emotion and still lets you come out on top. Hits so many of our currant social issues.
Great read, loved the story line, I couldn’t put it down!
I couldn’t put this book down! Very good read
Could not get through the 1st chapter/prologue. So confused I had a headache trying to keep up with what she was explaining. Someone else please read it and fill me in! Thx (I’m a sucker for cinderella stories ,but this…)
I thoroughly enjoyed this riveting story. A bit of romance mixed with mystery which often kept changing course. A very satisfying read.
Was not a fan of the story
Interesting twist to title,
This story had me from the beginning. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and the love story was epic. Definitely a keeper in my library!
Complex characters
This was a feel good book that I really enjoyed. Very well written.
First book I am reading by this author and I was really impressed.
There were many timelines. Childhood, teenage and adult. All the timelines were handled beautifully.
The starting from the point of view of a young child was really good.
There were many characters and each of their stories were heard.
I am definitely going back for more books by this author
I enjoyed reading this book and would like to read others by the same author.
Story is good, but the language is a little too dramatic and flowery for my taste.
Riveting read! I had trouble putting it down, definitely worth a read.
