New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Crusie brings humor and storytelling magic to this modern-day romance of a match made anywhere but in heaven — but destined for a fairy-tale ending.
Daisy Flattery is a free spirit with a soft spot for strays and a weakness for a good story. Why else would she agree to the outrageous charade offered by her buttoned-down workaholic neighbor, Linc Blaise? … neighbor, Linc Blaise? The history professor needs to have a fiancee in order to capture his dream job, and Daisy is game to play the role. But something funny happens on their way to the altar that changes everything. Now, with the midnight hour approaching, will Daisy lose her prince, or will opposites not only attract but live happily ever after?

Entertaining with characters that are interesting. If you like contemporary romance with a steamy scene or two, you’ll enjoy this one.
The Cinderella Deal is one of the best “marriage of convenience” romances I’ve ever read. I really loved the characters and way they matured through the book without sacrificing what made them unique. It’s romantic and funny, and there are pets in the book–a given with a Jennifer Crusie book.
3.5 out of 5 stars! Funny & Sweet! I couldn’t put the book down!!

Great book
Daisy and Lincoln were the best star-crossed lovers. The magical way their love unfolded was a Jennifer Cruise genius plot.
Endearingly flawed, so very humanly imperfect characters. Everyone gets what they needed all along- but the journey is so much fun…
Jennifer Cruise is a very talented lady and her books provide a reader with humor, suspense and mostly believability. It’s a plus also that I usually find her heroines likable. I love her books.

Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as well as she had hoped. She’s out of money with no hopes of making any. Daisy is a friendly, outgoing personality, …
I read Jennifer’s books when I need a pick me up. Laugh out loud funny, surprising twists and romance tucked into unexpected scenes.
It’s light, but it’s fun. A great evening’s read!

Jennifer Cruisie is a dependable Author for me–She always entertains!
Haven’t read Jennifer Cruisie for years. Forgot how much I love her books
Very good J. Crusie book. Not as good as some, like Welcome to Temptation or Bet Me but still her great style. Love that woman !
The characters seem to be acting like they are from a time in the past. But the portrayal of how wives are treated and expected to behave is sad.
