I loved these books as a kid. I treated myself to a bulky illustrated volume of the series and I couldn’t get enough of it. Next to Tolkien’s Middle Earth, Narnia is one of the most endearing magical worlds I fell in love with.
I read this many years ago and gave it to others to read. Now I ordered it again for my Nook and was amazed at how much I had forgotten. I got more out of this now and will save it to read again. This is timeless and love the little remarks inserted into so many of the adventures by C S Lewis that I missed the first time. All people of all …
Classic Fantasy Series that Still Entertains
I first read The Chronicles of Narnia when I was in third grade. It was about this time that I learned I could not read two books at the same time. I was reading a Hardy Boys books while also reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and returned it to the library unfinished so I could …
I found The Chronicles of Narnia when I was still very young. I can’t remember how many times I’ve read these books.
Already I’m sharing them with my four-year-old daughter. Love these classics who define good vs evil and end with hope.
I loved these stories as a child and still enjoy them as an adult. Wonderful adventures with spiritual depth.
These books were my “escape” from the real world. TO this day when life becomes stressful, I know I can still escape to Narnia
This is the first series of books that made a true impression on me! I was lost in the magic, and as I became older I started to understand the Christian parallel. To this day, I re-read the series to go back to that magical childhood!
its a good christain series for those who r christain
The Chronicles of Narnia is a wonderful series. My parents bought me all the books for Christmas when I was just seven. I’ve loved it ever since. Magic, beauty, good triumphing over evil. So much to enjoy.

Great messages and gives to much to think about long after the story is finished!
A classic that raises us up to a higher level of living and imagining and dreaming and fulfilling destiny. Reminds us of our true identity while sweeping us off our feet. Go to Narnia and you will never be the same!
Its a wonderful book with beautiful language used and interesting characters and roles
I was gifted the box set of the Chronicles of Narnia as a boy, perhaps 20-25 years ago now. Presently, I am just over halfway through the box set as I read aloud to my 10/G and 7/B. These books are so wonderful to read with the family, so imaginitive, so pure and full of purpose and goodness. They are some of the best books you will ever find …
Edge of your seat. Couldnt put it down.
This is one of those sets that taught me how to dream, how to think, how to read, how to pray. The individual characters and rich action drew me into the stories and I lived these adventures with Peter, Lucy, Susan and Edmond. I learned a lot from these books and I plan to share them with my nephews and my niece when they are old enough to dream …
I’ve been revisiting Narnia (a childhood favorite) while reading the books to my granddaughter. They continue to delight and inspire!
I read this series the first time when I was still in grade school. They very much informed what I read next, what I still write today, and many of my perceptions in life. I loved the allegory/analogy of it all and I love those kinds of things now. These books have a very strong moral, Christian world-view, but when the time comes, they also …
