Their firm has a strict policy against romances between employees, and although they try to resist each other, working together all day makes it impossible.

Well written book with depth development of the main characters. Aaron and Matt are loveable guys who go against the odds and come out on the other end as happier and stronger men.
I recommend this book and I am excited to read the other books of this writing duo.
A meet cute turns complicated office romance. Matt and Aaron are just really sweet, smart, good guys who know what they want but their situation comes with built in barriers, a forbidden element, and external conflict. Sometimes it is nice when a book does not have a lot of relationship angst or back and forth. This is a story of holiday celebration and about finding love, acceptance, connections, and purpose. It made me interested to read about some side characters and their stories.
Matt and Aaron were a joy to read. The care they took with each other, the incredible chemistry they shared, as well as the laughter, made for a great story. Having the support of family and friends when they face a difficult situation, brought enormous depth to the book which I was unable to put down. It was also great catching up with old friends, and seeing a peek into their life. This story is a must read.
This is another great book from the writing team of Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood; this book sits loosely within their legal series including the amazing Too Close To The Flame, Nice Catching You, What He Really Needs and the Beyond Courtship books.
Another emotional journey this time starting on a train and ending up with a Hanukkah candle burning brightly. Love at first sight happens on the train but turns awkward later in the day and only gets worse and as always with a Taylor/Harwood book our heroes always fight for what’s right and on the side of good to defeat evil. This book is no different.
Our main characters are hot blooded grown ups who are stymied by policies and gossips of the workplace but stand up to both as the bigger men they are and come out with a better deal at the end of it. Of course the path of instalove never flows true and straight because that would be too easy but our two guys weather the storm. Both have great background stories that we learn along the way, they compliment each other perfectly and the planning and research can be seen in the quality of the writing.
Because the book is part of a larger series of books it again utilises a great cast of secondary characters that have been met previously be that lawyers, their partners or other family members. It makes for a very interesting dynamic of people.
With amazingly descriptive writing the reader is drawn through the pages of the book and the worlds of the two main characters feeling the angst of their days. The worry and concern of one who has lived his life working for what he has and doesn’t want to lose it; the realisation of the other that he can move to do something that he has always wanted to do. And they bring their lives together at an important time of year out of the tragedy that brings them closer together to create their own new holiday.
I loved this book, as I knew I would, and I’m totally recommending that you pick it up today; even if it isn’t Chrismukkah xx
A forbidden work place romance! Love that is worth the risk! Amazing story. Can love beat the odds?? Magical. Loving. Romantic. Beautiful
The Chrismukkah Crisis by Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood is Matt Kensington and Aaron Roth’s story.
Love sometimes happens when you aren’t looking. Matt and Aaron are attracted to one another from when they first met. They just didn’t realize what they would have to sacrifice in order to be together. As you get to know the characters you get a better understanding of why they made the decisions they made. Love is a strong emotion so when you truly love someone you put them first above everything else. I loved how the story also showed respect for different religious beliefs and different holiday traditions. We also get a little update on Liam and John in this read. It’s great to be able to feel the love that the characters have for one another.
Aaron and Matt meet on the Metro going to work. They exchanged phone numbers with a promise to talk that night. Matt gets to work and he find out he’s been transferred. When he gets there who does he see Aaron. They’re going to be working together so they won’t be able to date because it’s against policy. Will they be able to work something out? I really enjoyed this book.
I loved everything about this book from the well developed and engaging characters that have lots of chemistry. And the storyline that flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.

Aaron is an associate lawyer working in the T and E department of the same big law firm. Matt gets transferred to the T & E department. Matt and Aaron try to stay away from each other but are unsuccessful. What will happen when upped management finds out about Aaron and Matt. Who will get fired? Who will quite? hat will Aaron’s dad say when Aaron tells him? Can Matt find the love he is looking for? Will Aaron find the love he is looking for?

I have never had as fruitful a ride on the Metro. Matthew and Aaron met on the Metro in instant lust with each other. Then thtey learn they work at the same lawfirm and Aaron is in Matt’s chain of command. The company has strict rules against fraternization. What can they do? Discretion? Deception? Blatant rule breaking? Relationships are challenging enough, without it affecting your livlihood. Both Matthew and Aaron are lovable characters and you just want to jump in and help them. Not everyone at work is compassionate or supportive. Family and friends are supportive, welcoming and inclusive. What changes will Matt and Aaron need to make? Delightful story, well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
What a terrific read ..
I need the next book now !!!
I have read their previous books , No Brief Affair and Legally Bound which were written well with a great story line.
This their latest book The Chrismukkah is brilliant the whole book holds it’s own .
Two wonderful guys who meet on the metro then their lives fall into place or so I thought !
Life and people get between them but ……. I won’t add teasers all I want to say is this is a beautiful book written exceptionally well .. Congratulations guys …
A sweet, heartwarming MM holiday romance with a interesting plot & good scene descriptions. The characters (Matt & Aaron) are well-developed & have likable personalities but naturally there is a manipulative father (Mr Roth) trying to cause problems.
There is: some drama, mild twists, workplace rules & issues, mild anguish, memories, attractions, verbal banter, friendship, attempted blackmail, legal manipulations, confrontations, anger, family issues, emotional turmoil, friendship, insecurities, doubts, happiness, love, contentment & a delightful conclusion. I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend it.
A holiday for everyone! What a warm and wonderful– yet believable–book! These authors have done it again by enlarging their universe of characters. Our heroes, like all good romantic figures, have to battle the world around them to stay together once fate (some call it “insta-love”) brought them together. The machinations of a “Big Law” law firm can’t be stopped, though.
Won’t indulge in any spoilers, but a fine and fitting end to a well-written (some call it literary) book. These two guys (the authors, I mean) just keep getting better and better!
And… the authors (Ryan Taylor, Joshua Harwood) make good use of Kindle’s X-Ray feature to make it easy keep a running tab of who’s who, etc.
