Four stories by Lola Gabriel, that are part of a series but could be stand-alone. They are to wet the appetite to read more of the series, and it may succeed.
But admittedly I have a problem with one of the stories, it is not my cup of tea.
But it was good to read the collection to get a perfect overview over Ms. Gabriel’s works.

I have previously read and reviewed the books in this collection, if you love a good dragon shifter story then you definitely want this boxset.
The Dragons witch
This is a wonderful well-written story, I did find the beginning to be a bit slow but once I got into this paranormal romance between a dragon and a witch it definitely got more enjoyable. The feud between dragons and the Gaia witches goes back centuries and now Felix is close to getting and eliminating the most dangerous one until he realizes that Natasha, the sweet human he fell for is actually the Gaia witch he’s looking for.
A sweet romance with some intrigue and mystery, no cliffhangers and a wonderful HEA.
The Escape
This book is well-written with a fast paced intriguing storyline, the worlds the author creates are well created and explained. The beginning of this story is slightly confusing but you get more information as you read. I really liked Ash and Sander as characters, they are well described and flawed enough to be relatable.
Entertaining story, a real wild ride…
Lost King
This is another addition to The Chosen series, it can be read as a standalone story.
Sabine Winterfox is an agile and spunky vigilante whose identity has just been revealed. She has evil Mad Jack after her for her Gaia witch blood and she’s rescued by the Lost King, Roman who is a fellow vigilante. I enjoyed this story, it’s fast-paced and well-written, my only gripe is that you don’t have much drama from Mad Jack or the ghouls flying around. Other than that it’s interesting and well-written.
The Rescue
Amelia is a quiet Gaia witch and meets Aegir, a dragon Shifter Guardian, when evil Fefnir burns her beloved house down and Aegir rescues her. There is plenty of drama and intrigue within this story, highly entertaining and quick to read.

1 – The Dragon’s Witch
What an epic storyline. Natasha is a Gaia Witch who is literally dying. The only thing to save her is finding an ancient relic. She’s also the camp counselor who ran into Felix on her way to her car. Felix is a dragon, tired of his immortal life and wanting to die. The only problem is a Gaia witch is the only one who can pull this off. Have you read the teaser? Yeah, there is so much tension, angst, lies, secrets, drama, and a fate induced love. All the elements needed to an epic paranormal romance. Lola Gabriel has been known for her world-building and I can’t wait to see which character will star in her world next.
2 – The Escape
What an exciting book! This one starts off at a run and doesn’t slow down until the end. Ashlyn finds herself in the middle of a fight for her life, sans Hunger Games. The only thing she can figure is it’s because she has made “The Baron” mad. Come to find out, so has everyone else. Enter Sander, arrogant and cocky, with an attitude implying a hidden secret. They could come out alive IF they work together, that is, until an evil demon from Sanders’ past shows up. Now what? You’ve got to read this one. This rollercoaster of emotions will keep you perched on the edge of your seat and the twists, turns and contributions of the other characters will keep you guessing how this will end.
3 – Lost King
Lola Gabriel continues to astonish and amaze with this series. In this, the third book of “The Chosen” series, she gives us Sabine, aka Winterfox, who is a vigilante who operates outside the law. When her identity is found out and she’s kidnapped another vigilante, this time a masked on known as “The Lost King” comes to her rescue. That just turned up the excitement and heat. These two must learn to work together, their lives depend on it. The drama, twists and turns, along with the emotional angst took me to another level with this one. I couldn’t put it down.
4 – The Rescue
Amelia’s day is about to go from bad to worse. First, her father dies and then she finds out he’s been keeping all kinds of secrets that now leave her confused about herself. Aegir is a dragon shifter with extraordinary powers. He’s also a Guardian Dragon who has promised to look out for her. True to form, Lola Gabriel has filled this book with all the emotional turmoil, the angst, the fear, and distrust. Then, of course, she’s added the trust, the emotional connection, and then the physical attraction.
If you have a weak spot for dragon shifters, like I do, then you’ll absolutely love this series.
Hot and steamy romances with epic twists, as well as internal and external complications.
Love that is as enduring as it is lethal.
Fabulous four pack of fun!
