My best friend’s sister was off limits; until the day she sauntered into my classroom. She’s looking to perfect her candy making skills.I’m looking to teach her all the best ways to use chocolate, none of which include how to properly line a candy mold. She’ll discover what it really means to temper chocolate when I stir her up and light her body on fire. She’s doesn’t know it, but she was mine the … body on fire.
She’s doesn’t know it, but she was mine the moment she set foot in my kitchen.

A short read by Terra Kelly that is spicy, funny and very swoony. A second chance steamy RomCom. Terra takes us on a journey of two people who lost some years and reconnect and we watch the sparks fly. We watch as true love conquers ALL!!
A perfect read for a Drs appt, beach read or even if you have a few extra minutes for yourself.
Highly recommended.
Great story-line. Things off-limits to Weston five years ago are what he wants now. Is five years too long? Will Rilee give Weston a second chance. This is a wonderful short story to curl up to in bed. I am looking forward to the next one.
That chocolatier wasn’t to my taste.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
This is really a short story. Come on! Anything less than a hundred pages via Kindle is DEFINITELY a short story!
The modern day time period is predictable and too saccharin for my tastes. The look-back-in-time seems so unrealistic. Yes, I know that by the legal letter of the law, it was statutory rape, but in many states, even one or two years above absolute eighteen is iffy for prosecution, depending on the strength of the case, whether or not we’re dealing with badder issues resulting in real “I definitely said NO!” rape, and whether or not the DA thinks s/he has a case. But really, now! I would have to agree that the writer may have had to spell things out a little more clearly because this is such a shady subject to begin with, and whether or not the writer wanted to be politically correct. For those who need to be warned, well, there is it. You might have problems with it and whether or not everyone is a mature adult at the age of eighteen. (For some people in my life, I’m still waiting, and it’s been years!!) I don’t have a problem with this because obviously, it has nothing to do with the storyline, and it certainly didn’t bother the author. Now if Rylee had been any less than a Tanner State Five and couldn’t pass the GED with decent studying time, then I would have a problem.
I’m not buying Rylee being that dense to not be able to temper chocolate. Totally unrealistic. I wish there had been more realistic reasons for Weston NOT calling her. After all, his dad was über-rich and could had made it way easy for Wes to call stateside any time he wanted to. But guys, even at a Tanner Stage Five aren’t mature enough for relationships, so perhaps Rylee’s conclusion at the end of the book is valid.
For those who just need a just a few whiffs of decent chocolate, this isn’t a bad book. I could think of better storylines that could be more compelling, but that’s just my preferences. If you want to read it, KU it. See if you like her writing skills and styles. I don’t think I’d repeat-read it, though. One chance at this chocolate box is enough as I really shouldn’t have asked for more.

Cute, second chance romance.
Characters were likeable.
Extremely short. Only took about 30 minutes to read.
Now, I need to find a man to teach me to make chocolate.
• Could have been longer.
• Needed more drama.
Aww! I love this! Great romance read!
This is a short, fun and delicious rom com about the boy who left behind the girl he loved. Weston had loved his best friend’s younger sister, Rylee, but he couldn’t break the ‘bro code’ and so he left home to pursue his career in chocolate! Meanwhile, Rylee grew up and signed up to join a chocolatier class at her local mall. And who should be the class ‘teacher’ but her old crush Weston who is the model to which no male matches up to her standards as far as she is concerned. This is the first book that Ive read by Terra Kelly but it won’t be the last as I loved her writing style, the way she made the story fun yet realistic with fabulous characters. A very engaging story that just drew me in and kept me there right till the very end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most Definitely Recommended.
