Read the book that started it all, first in the Wild West Frontier Brides series set in Tombstone, Arizona in the 1880s.All Sadie had ever known, or ever wanted to know, was being a baker. She’d been raised to bake in her parents’ bakery, and after their deaths, she had planned to carry on the family tradition. Devastated to find out she was losing her family’s business, she needed something to … something to do to support herself. When she received a letter from her twin sister’s husband in Arizona Territory, suggesting she come out to be the bride of his best friend who was opening a restaurant, it seemed like the perfect solution to her problems.
Tripp had gone to the best culinary school in the country, and he knew exactly how to create the perfect meal. He spent hours and hours coming up with just the right menu for his restaurant, only to be told he couldn’t get a loan for it unless he married. When his best friend came up with the solution of sending for his baker sister-in-law, it only made sense. Her ideas of the perfect menu were different than his, though. Would the two be able to stay together long enough to convince the bank he was a good risk? Would Sadie be able to convince Tripp that the two of them belonged together after all?

Great for the romantic in me.
Not quite realistic but an easy read
This was a clean romance between a woman baker who volunteers to marry a chef so the bank will loan him the money to open a restaurant. It was okay.
Easy to read and happy ending
I have enjoyed all the mail order bride stories.
They are just fun stories and easy reading.
Really liked this book
Loved that it was very, very clean! Have 5 kids – don’t need the details!
Quick easy read. Takes you back in time. A love story. Predictable . But who cares; we like happy endings.
The male lead was so typical male. Not wanting to consult a female and not (at first) using her talents as a baker. They finally got their act together.
Great book I couldn’t put it down and was up long into the night reading. It’s a great book in a great series.
I liked it very much was heartwarming and a fast read
It was a sweet story. The cooking and the saving of the restaurant was great.

It was a sweet read, could not put the book down ,enjoyable read,a must read.
Sometimes love is where you least expect it and then this book unlike most mail order bride stories I thought the journey for love was authentic and body in your painting and waiting for the first kiss. I love this book and love so many of these authors books. I gave it four stars and I highly recommend it.
Okay read. Didn’t hold my interest.
Good quick read.
It was an okay book. Easy to read.
Very predictable. Not exciting.
