Death, Life, or Love — Unbounded Always Play for Keeps
There are only two ways to kill Unbounded, and fire isn’t one of them — as law school dropout Erin Radkey learns the hard way. By fluke of a recessive gene, she has become Unbounded, a nearly immortal being with paranormal abilities.
Erin’s Change separates her from her loved ones and alters everything she believes to be true. A week … to be true. A week earlier she was considering a marriage proposal; now she contemplates the best way to stay alive. Caught in a battle between two Unbounded groups, the Emporium and the Renegades, she is also hunted by a secret mortal society sworn to eradicate the Unbounded gene.
As Erin plunges into this dangerous new life, she must carve out her own place in the madness, protect her mortal family, and decide which group she should join. Her unique ability is vital to both groups in the race to secure an identification software that spells death for all Unbounded — or enslavement for the entire mortal world. Some will stop at nothing to use Erin as one more pawn in a battle that has spanned centuries. Erin’s undeniable attraction to Ritter Langton, whose family was massacred by opposing Unbounded two hundred and forty years ago, complicates her choices. There are no second chances. Death, life, or love — Unbounded always play for keeps.
Non-stop action, terrifying consequences, and powerful romance make The Change an exciting addition to the world of romantic urban fantasy.

My first read from Tesla Branson and I was very impressed. She developed an interesting plot, with engaging characters and unpredictable nonstop action. This just wetted my appetite for more of this series and other stories by Ms Branton.
Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Very good reading.
Worth the time and it’s original idea. Thank you.
I loved this Urban Fantasy! Can’t wait to read the others in the series!
Loved it!
It is the second of the series and I am reading them all.
An interesting plot idea, but overall it was done so so. It was entertaining though.
The concept was interesting but I just didn’t get into the characters.
interesting twist on a new theme
Loved this book!
Loved it. Can read it over and over.
Guess just mot my type of book. Bored
Lots of unexpected twists, almost too many.
Interesting. Left me wanting more
A series that will leave you building your own theories on what will happen next. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s unique. Great recommendation for any YA reader in your life.
I very much enjoyed this book. The premise is somewhat original…the Unbounded are essentially X-Men without the external characteristics that make it impossible to hide mutant status. There is the requisite battle between good (the Renegades) and evil (the Emporium), and the action is steady throughout the book. The story moves along well and …
It was good, but I would prefer a little more interaction with Ritter
Need more!
Entertaining
Not your typical (and tiring) mutant script. Enjoyable reading about a heroine who is not a slick, know-it-all or a prissy, screamer. Typical them vs us ( good mutant vs bad mutant) could use a shot in the arm I’m hoping it gets in the next book.
