Death, Life, or Love — Unbounded Always Play for Keeps
There are only two ways to kill Unbounded, and fire isn’t one of them — as law school dropout Erin Radkey learns the hard way. By fluke of a recessive gene, she has become Unbounded, a nearly immortal being with paranormal abilities.
Erin’s Change separates her from her loved ones and alters everything she believes to be true. A week … to be true. A week earlier she was considering a marriage proposal; now she contemplates the best way to stay alive. Caught in a battle between two Unbounded groups, the Emporium and the Renegades, she is also hunted by a secret mortal society sworn to eradicate the Unbounded gene.
As Erin plunges into this dangerous new life, she must carve out her own place in the madness, protect her mortal family, and decide which group she should join. Her unique ability is vital to both groups in the race to secure an identification software that spells death for all Unbounded — or enslavement for the entire mortal world. Some will stop at nothing to use Erin as one more pawn in a battle that has spanned centuries. Erin’s undeniable attraction to Ritter Langton, whose family was massacred by opposing Unbounded two hundred and forty years ago, complicates her choices. There are no second chances. Death, life, or love — Unbounded always play for keeps.
Non-stop action, terrifying consequences, and powerful romance make The Change an exciting addition to the world of romantic urban fantasy.

Interesting urban fantasy/sci-fi blend. Erin is in a deadly car accident, only to discover that she isn’t dead. She’s actually one of the Unbounded and as she comes to terms with the changes in her body and mind, she’ll have to come to terms with who she’s going to be; a Renegade or an Emporium. She would like to go back to who she was prior to …
Love love love this series. Can’t get enough!
Great Sci Fi.
Can’t wait to read 1.5

Really good book very entertaining. Look forward to reading more in the series. Keep writing.
Action packed, strong main character, believable and increasing character development, great world building. I loved it so much and definitely plan on buying more in this series.

Looking forward to next book!
Loved this book
Worth the read. Will be reading part 2 now.
Excellent characters, nicely developed throughout the book. Nice plot twisting in interesting places. Easy answers to why the unbounded people are different than other story people. Lastly, nice little real life people thrown in the mix .
I could not put it down.
This book was an interesting fantasy/paranormal . The characters were all well written and no bad language! I really liked this one.
So, I kinda want to be Unbounded. I say kinda because I’m not much of a fighter and you need to be one if you are Unbounded.
Erin is badass, she’s thrown into this amazing, yet dangerous new world and she faces the threats head on. She slowly discovers her new abilities and makes the best of it.
I liked how the advantages and disadvantages of near …
This is another rare book I couldn’t bear to finish. The phrasing is repetitive, the storyline felt rushed, and I feel like I could predict every page of it. I’m amazed that there are sequels.
Very intriguing premise, a rare gene mutation that confers incredible healing ability and an approximate 2000-year lifespan. Of course, this necessitates secrecy from the normal population and at least three mutually antagonistic factions at “war” with one another. Well crafted and imaginative with reasonably well-developed characters. Some of …
The Change takes the fairly common initial concept of discovering that one is part of a long line of semi-immortals called the Unbounded and works it into a complex millennial war of factions: Good guy Unbunded folk wanting to use their special abilities for everyone’s well-being, Bad guy Unboundeds who want to use everyone else as chattel, and a …
It was really good it’s the first time I’ve read a book like this one I’m glad I did.
