I Lost The Love Of My Life… Billionaire Romance, inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ “The Count of Monte Cristo”. It’s a thrilling and steamy story of jealousy, betrayal, lust, and revenge. This is a stand-alone novel with no cliff-hanger and a HEA, the first in the Classic Billionaires series.more
This book is a little different than the other ones that Ive read of hers. The character storyline is fantastic in that its shows that your friends can also be your enemies. It is amazing in that it is a beautifully sad story.

This book was addicting. Lost way too much sleep while being glued to the pages just to see what happened. It’s one of those books that I don’t want to say too much about and accidentally give away anything important about it, but it was so well written with the absolute best plot you could ask for. So much suspense, raw emotion and revenge. There’s deceit and secrets on one side but also love and devotion on another. I loved the characters. There’s just so much realness with their story. It ends with a happy ever after and would highly recommend this book!

Friends, Van and Ethan, meet Hazel at the same party. Both want her, but only one wins her heart. The other stews quietly until he can find a way to take her for himself. This story is a tale of deep love, a friend’s betrayal and revenge. Can true love withstand the battle?

The CEO of Cristo by Sophie Lark was One Fuzzy Feel Good Entertaining Read!
I really enjoyed this story!
Ethan, the H, and Hazel, the h, were so sweet together, I felt myself smiling, and sighing at their connection, and Charlie, the little girl just rounded everything out.
I am so happy that they got their HEA, after all of the hardship, and betrayal that they had to endure, and the additional epilogue was a pleasant surprise!
I throughly disliked Van, the best friend, he is the epitome of what an enemy is, that is masquerading as a friend!
I wanted to snack him so bad!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Author Sophie Lark grabs your attention right from the start in The CEO of Cristo! It’s fast paced, emotionally intense, and action packed! I could not stop reading and nearly finished in one sitting! A must read for readers that love suspense and intrigue with their romance!
I loved the connection between the characters, and the multi POV experience. The CEO of Cristo truly checks off all the boxes – thrilling and action packed plot, emotion, intrigue, betrayal, vengeance, romance, hope, and so much heat!
Wonderful suspenseful romance!!!
Van met Hazel at a New Year’s eve party and thought he had a chance with her, but he finds her later kissing his best friend Ethan. Ethan and Hazel are perfect together and after spending the last two years together developing PayDirt along with their friend Van, Ethan decides to propose to Hazel. Then the unthinkable happens and Ethan ends up accused and convicted of a crime he didn’t commit. He gets fifteen years in prison and pushes Hazel away so she can have a life. Van is determined to make Hazel his because he’s always believed she should be with him, but Hazel is devastated after what happened to Ethan and then she finds out she’s pregnant. This is a dark, twisted, suspenseful read that drew me in from the very beginning and held my interest to the very end. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

Where’s the romance in this dark romance? I really liked the characters, and I liked the plot. However I have to admit this almost seemed more suspense than dark romance. I figured, after Ethan was sent to prison, it would show up between Van and Hazel, but, despite several efforts on his part, it never really happened. Then I thought it might be between Ethan and Hazel when he was convinced she must have betrayed him. Only that didn’t happen either. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy this book – which is why it has so many stars -, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of dark romance involved. It was almost more suspense or something.
