”Lily?”
My stomach dropped as a tall, dark-haired man stepped into view. Had he been hiding between the trees?
”No. Sorry.” Gulping, I took a step back. “I’m not Lily.”
He shook his head, a satisfied grin on his face. “No. You are Lily.”
”I’m Summer. You have the wrong person.” You utter freak!
I could hear my pulse crashing in my ears. How stupid to give him my real name. He continued to … hear my pulse crashing in my ears. How stupid to give him my real name. He continued to stare at me, smiling. It made me feel sick.
”You are Lily,” he repeated.
Before I could blink, he threw his arms forward and grabbed me. I tried to shout, but he clasped his hand over my mouth, muffling my screams. My heart raced. I’m going to die.
For months Summer is trapped in a cellar with the man who took her — and three other girls: Rose, Poppy, and Violet. His perfect, pure flowers. His family. But flowers can’t survive long cut off from the sun, and time is running out…

It is so amazing the way the author realistically paints a picture of the world we live in through this book. It will hook you into the story and you cant help but turn the pages till the end.
It’s obvious “The Cellar” was written by a fan fiction author. The detail in description is stunning, and much of the book is focused on how the characters feel. This makes readers apathetic and paints a vivid picture of the scene, but at the expensive of plot. There are a lot of holes, and the ending is unsatisfying. After spending the book …
It was an AMAZING book. I could hardly put it down. I STRONGLY recommend this book. It was amazing!!!
This thrilling book won’t let you put it down. Once you start reading you have to find out what happens next. If you haven´t read this book yet it is DEFINITELY recommended.
WOW, just wow! This was a fantastic book Natasha is a fantastic writer and I’m so glad that I have found a new author who writes some of my favorite genres. This book is definitely haunting and very twisted. It is suspenseful unpredictable and absolutely un-put-downable!!!
This book started unbelievably fast and I was glad!! books that have a …
Suspense was high right to the end of the book!! Dark material/story but great read!
I personally thought this book was phenomenal! I thought story line was well thought out, and the characters were excellent! The plot constantly had me on edge, and wondering what was going to happen next. It was a little graphic, but honestly for a story like this I think it was a great asset, and gave it a much more of a believable and reality …
I’m not sure how to rate this book, for one I’m not sure how I’m going to finish seeing as how my copy was binned incorrectly. I got up to page 268 and instead of 269 being the next page it goes back to page 237-268 then back to 301, meaning there are about 40 pages missing from the book that are completely skipped over. This has never happened to …
Just want to say, it has been a long time since I’ve read a thriller therefore my opinion may not be as some of you thriller fanatics.
This story was quite crazy, it keeps you up on your toes, wary of what’s going to happen next. Also had a couple ‘sorrow’ tears come down twice.
Summer gets kidnapped whilst looking for a friend, she gets stuck …
I love this book so much!
16-year old Summer is abducted and held captive for months. 3 other girls are also trapped in the Cellar with her. Summer’s boyfriend, Lewis, and family do not give up searching for her. Lewis never doubts that she is still alive and Summer doesn’t doubt that he will find her. This is a really good story about teenage love and the inner …
I couldn’t put the book down. Finished book the same night I got it.
One of my favorites
Wow! I literally couldn’t put this book down. Natasha Preston had me hooked immediately and I wasn’t able to stop reading until the story came to its end.
The suspense throughout was gripping. I honestly had no idea what was going to happen next. I had my hopes and fears, but the uncertainty of the actions of Clover….. well predicting the …
I’m giving this 4 stars because of how entertained I was reading it. I’ll be honest in saying that the writing style is does read like that of a new author, though in her defense the editing wasn’t that great either. Writing aside, I was intrigued by the creepy premise and enjoyed the ride Preston took us on. Recommend to those looking for an …
This book had me hooked the moment I started reading it. There were never times I stopped and then came back to try it again. I read it non. stop. The plot itself is twisted and action-packed (in a good way)! This is a great first book for people who want to start reading thrillers. Highly recommended!
It was great
This was one of my favorite books by Natasha Preston, I just didn’t want to put this book down.
This book helped me with being a better writer. The thought to me that she started would share her drafts on an app called Wattpad to become an amazing author.
This book is great! I love it because your never going to stop reading it! It keeps you on your toes!
