Love thiss author great fun reading
Easy lighthearted read.
This is the first in a wonderful series with memorable characters and stories. Definitely one of my favorite series.
Great start to a great series that remained so up to No. 23, The Cat Who Smelled a Rat. Unreadable after that.
Always enjoy her books. have read most of her work.
The “Cat Who…” series is fun and light, a good break from police procedurals and thrillers I usually read.
Enjoyed all Lillian Braun’s Cat Who books. This is one of the earliest of the series and it is fun to follow the characters and the cats through various murders and situations. A very engaging read and very memorable!
I read all of Lillian Jackson Braun’s “Cat Who…” books. I enjoyed the idea that two Siamese cats could help solve local murders, but the later books bothered me when they focused on Quilleran’s relationship with his on-and-off girlfriend. Apparently, others did, too, because Braun eliminated her in the final books. Sorry she passed away; she had a “Cat Who Smelled Smoke” book in the works that was never finished. I read the series chronologically, but you could pick up a book singly and know what was going on. Good airplane reading.
Love this series! The setting, characters and mysteries are all charming.
I read anything Braun writes and I enjoy every one of her books. I wish she was still around to write.
Good read!
I have all her books and I’m reading the books again!
Love this series.
my introduction to Qwill. I think I was in love with him. I miss him. Sorry for loss of a lovely author and a wonderful series
This book series is like an afternoon nap in front of a fire after an exceptionally fine meal and then waking up to go to an Audrey Hepburn movie at an art house theater.
Have read all the “Cat/Who” books…. highly recommend.
Have every one of the CAT WHO BOOKS. IF YOU LOVE CATS , YOU’LL ENJOY THESE BOOKS. IF NOT I DON’T THINK TWO CAT’S HELOING SLOVE CRIMES WILL BE YOUR THING!
A page-turner. Love ll the Lillian Jackson Braun books! They’re all different, but all are definitely worth reading. She’s a goo, spunky writer, and I love the twists in her stories, as well as her flash-backs into real journalism days and when times were certainly different!
I have read this whole series and can say that I miss my “friends” from these books since the author has passed on. Very entertaining cozies.
Loved the series having read it from her first book. Loved trying to figure out the clues the cats were leaving to solve the mystery.
