All The Cat Who” books are a great read.
I love all of the Cat Who… books. I’m running out of them as I’ve read so many. Quill is a hoot as are all of the characters in these books. It’s a fun, easy to read, relaxing book.
Any of the books in this series seem to be warm and furry and fun without any sex and little violence. The cats are quite wonderful.
All of the Koko the cat mysteries are entertaining and good fun. The characters are the heart of the story, and they grow and change (but not too much) with each book. The plots are entertaining enough and trying to figure out the clues Koko is giving Qwill is fun. The only thing against the books is that the characters, who are the best part of the book, are kind of flat. You know so-and-so is witty or charismatic or pompous because the author says they are, not because they are showing themselves so. Written in a little bit dumbed-down style. No foul language or sex; slight tinge of occult or mysticism.
I read the whole series! They are fun books to read.
I read this whole series . I miss this author.
I think I have read every one of these!
If you have ever owned a Siamese cat this is for you. Her definition of that cat makes you realize what a wonderful animal he is A quick read and ,in my humble opinion, well worth it.
Its the first of a 30 or so book series. I love them. I have almost every one of these books. Easy to read but not childlike. Each book builds more on the story. A cozy mystery with cats. Whats not to love?
The Cat Who series are one of my favorite mystery collections!
Been reading the cat that books for years. Always glad to date a new one. Easy enjoyable reading.
I have the whole Cat Who series. The books are easy to read. I love the characters and the different story lines.
This series is simply a fun read, when you want to be amused give it a try
This was written aeons ago yet it is still a good read, meaning the prose is at standard, the characters well developed and sympathetic and the storyline holds interest. Even the Siamese cat grows on you whether or not you are a dog person. I have ordered books two and three and hoping they will not become tired as we continue.
These books are always fun!
The Cat Who series is, as always, one of my favorites.
A fun read. Well written “cozy.”
Fun read.
I read The Cat Who Could Read Backwards ages ago in hardcover, and recently picked up the Kindle edition for old times sake. As I recall, this story was almost magical. This is where it all begins. We meet Jim Qwilleran, aka Qwill. And also the amazing crime-solving cat called KoKo. Although the town of Pickaxe located in Moose County is fictional, it actually comes off as real-to-life and authentic. The characters are great and the story superb. I look forward to returning to Pickaxe soon, that town 400 miles north of everywhere.
Love all the Cat Who books!
