The Case of Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery, #6) by Nikki Broadwell was a fun, engaging, interesting read that had me hooked.
Not my first read by this author, but my first in this series, so I knew going in that I was in for a pretty solid, fun read. I will say that, don’t be deterred, this book read like a standalone, but I do suggest reading the other book in this series. Which is on my todo list, as I enjoyed this book so much, that I need to know everything about the series.
Interesting, this book will take you on a unique magical ride. Rish with detail and mystery, this book is full of twists turns and drama.. the fun kind. It’s fresh, original and overall and very fun and exciting read. The MC is strong, thoughtful and well rounded, she showed real emotions and realistic life problems, which made it easy to connect. The plot was strong, solid, and engaging. The flow was easy to follow and the overall story was never dull, flat or boring.
Overall this book is worth your time and energy. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that this book will take you on a unique magical ride.
Happy Reading

The Case of the Missing Books is the sixth book in the Summer McCloud Paranormal series by Nikki Broadwell. I have been enjoying Ms. Broadwell’s stories and had decided to read all her books to get ‘up-to-date’ with everything. When this story popped up on my feed, I was immediately intrigued by the title and immediately grabbed a copy. I didn’t realise at the time that tit is the sixth book in the series, but it read well as a standalone, and I didn’t feel like I was missing any important information- although I am intrigued enough to read the rest of the books in the series. This is a clever mystery, with paranormal elements, murder, fantasy, touches of magic, drama, and adventure.
I love how Ms. Broadwell’s stories are always so original- infusing each one with her unique style and ‘feel’. I found this to be very creative and imaginative- and I also love how magic was woven into the story. Ms. Broadwell created a wonderfully vivid, fully realised, and believable ‘world’ in which she set her story, and interesting and likeable characters to lead us through.
Bring on the rest of the series!
Thank you, Ms. Broadwell!
This is a paranormal story with witches and magic. This story kept me engaged throughout the story. It took me on a journey of mystery and suspense twisted with magic. This is a story about some books that have gone missing and how they are connected to murders in town. The characters are great and Summer is my favorite. She brought the story to life for me and I could easily find myself with her. She made me laugh a couple of times as well a few other emotions. I highly recommend this book.
