“The dead are restless here…”
Remy is a tour guide for Carrow House, a notoriously haunted building. When she’s asked to host seven guests for a week-long stay to research Carrow’s phenomena, she hopes to finally experience some of the sightings that made the house famous. At first, it’s everything they hoped for. Then a storm moves in, cutting off their contact with the outside world, and … with the outside world, and things quickly become twisted. Doors open on their own. Seances go disastrously wrong. Red liquid seeps from behind the wallpaper. Their spirit medium wanders through the house during the night, seemingly in a trance.
Then one of the guests dies under strange circumstances, and Remy is forced to consider the possibility that the ghost of the house’s original owner, a twisted serial killer, still walks the halls.
But by then it’s too late to escape.

OMG! This was one of the best haunted house books I’ve read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was on vacation and tried to make this book last for the whole week but it was so good l finished in about three days. I loved the characters and really cared about what was happening to them. Highly recommend this book and I’ll be looking for more from this author.
The story and characters were original and kept me engaged in the story. The ending was a bit pat but after the build up of the story the happy ending was nice.
loved the ending.
It was a good haunted house book with a twist. Not the usual. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were well drawn and believable. I was missing a few bits of subplot information (background on each character that would’ve answered the “why” are they here question) but once I just jumped into the suspension of disbelief, I was on board for the fun ride. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending… SPOILER ALERT>>> I was left thinking, “wait, the dead aren’t dead after all? Every single one?” Other than that, I enjoyed the book and will watch for more from this author.
Enjoyed reading this book.
This book is a great ghost story with intriguing plot twists.
Meh! – It took a long while to get started, the middle was very well written and engaging, the ending was sophomoric Best I can say is it was free and it passed a few idle hours, not the worst book I’ve ever read but not one I can recommend, sorry.
WoW! Excellent horror at it’s best! Totally amazed at the writing skills, story and characters! Haven’t been disappointed yet! what a wild adventure into a creative mind and another zone. So glad I discovered this author!
