Buried Alive:
So when I saw that this book would have much sex in it, to be honest I was wondering if it would really keep my attention. Let tell you, just because this book has little sex does not mean it has no romance. Reading about Hunter and Kerry was truly amazing. These two had so much in common and understood each other more then they knew. I loved seeing their love blossom.
I loved how these two were very passionate about their work. Both had a different part to play in solving these murders. Both felt for the nameless victims and both wanted to see this killer caught and pay for their crimes.
Just when you think you have it all figured out the author throws in a surprise that makes your mouth drop. Yeah, what was revealed about the killer I was not expecting. This story did keep me on the edge of my seat and I found it kept my attention the whole time, which completely surprised me.
I loved Hunter’s little girl. I love how much she took up with Kerry. We got to see a glimpse of what kind of mother Kerry would of been. I do wish we would of got to see more of the daughter at the end after Kerry and Hunter discovered their feelings for each other.
Of course when you think the danger is almost over Kerry will find herself right in the thick of it and Hunter will try to save her in time. I found that each and everything that Hunter and Kerry went through help them realize their true feelings. I loved when Hunter was faced with a very tough chose and how he chose Kerry when given that chose.
I found Kerry’s sister kind of dingy and a drama queen. I loved Kerry’s grandfather and loved how protected he was of Kerry. I loved how much Hunter’s daughter took up with Kerry’s grandfather.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
Buried Secrets:
I am loving this series so far. You have mystery, passion, and even some steamy parts.
I just loved Jenna. She worked for the police department and so wanted to be a detective. I love how hard she worked and was willing to give it her all.
I can’t imagine being faced with what Jenna was faced with. It had to be hear crushing concerning her mother. I can understand her reasoning for wanting to go undercover. Had to be stressful and exciting at the same time.
I loved Sam. Though him being a neat freak about cracked me up. I love how this man who had this wall built up was slowing letting that wall coming down to let Jenna in.
There was so many lies surrounding Jenna and Sam you had to wonder when it was going to come crashing around them. Reading this I could just feel the tension this was causing Jenna.
I love how Jenna wormed her way right in Sam’s life. No matter how hard he pushed her away she just push back harder. It was like she stormed into his life and had no plans going any where.
There is danger in this book and there are some sad moments as well. You will also find some very touching moments and parts that will make you swoon.
Buried Deep:
I have enjoyed each and everyone of these books in this series. Each book works fine as a standalone.
Lara Romano who was an anthropologist was trying to help figure out a case for the police by trying to identify the bones. She was a very interesting person. She was one that knew what it was like to struggle. She had a handicap. She was deaf. She never let that slow her down.
Trevor who was a Missing Person Detective was truly and an amazing guy. I love the compassion he had for his work. He wanted to solve the case of who was killing the missing Indians. I love the fact that even though his father had his certain way of thinking Trevor did not let that corrupt his way of thinking.
I love the attraction from the get go between Trevor and Lara. I loved how he did not treat her any different due to her handicap. As you read this story you will see that these two were so meant for each other.
I love how the author kept us on the edge of our seat. Someone was killing Indians and now they were after Lara. I love the great lengths that Trevor is willing to go through to keep her safe. I love the closeness of Trevors family an how they were so excepting of Lara.
This was a great book and glad i got a chance to read the book.
