This is a MM contemporary romance. I really loved this story. The premise of completing a brother’s bucket list after he dies young I thought is a great concept. The characters were wonderful and emotionally written. The story flow was wonderful. Overall, a wonderful touching story.
Awesome read! Jason goes to California to get Mark to come back home for a high school reunion. Jason’s brother Andrew died of cancer and left a bucket list of sorts. Mark hasn’t been back since he left due to being bullied in school and beaten by his father. But a letter from Andrew and a spark between him and Jason, have Mark going back to Cooper’s Yard and not only facing his past, but maybe finding his future as well.
A super lovely second chance romance. Jason and Mark’s connection starts as comfort in loss and quickly grows. I liked that even though each one is grieving over the loss of Jason’s brother Andrew there is also laughter and joy. I loved that each one separately saw Andrew’s hand in bringing them together and was grateful for it. Mark openly declaring who was with Jason by his side was a favorite moment. The peek into their lives in the epilogue was most satisfying.
