She accidentally hit him on the way to get bakery, and brings Trey to the hospital. But he is a charmer. Now he won’t leave her alone. She isn’t sure about him.
The Broke Billionaire by Ann Omasta was a great read. It is the first book in The Broke Billionaire’s Club Series. Ellie is tired and distracted when she ran Trey over with her car. Little did they know both of their lives would drastically change. I loved reading Ellie and Trey’s story and cant wait to read more in this series.
I really enjoyed this book. Ellie is a baker trying to make ends meet. She accidentally hits a runner with her car. After she takes him to the hospital and makes sure he is okay, she finds out he is billionaire Trey. While most women would be attracted to his money and power, she is turned off by it. She thinks she has him all figured out. This intrigues Trey and he pursues her. It was so much fun hearing these two interact. He cracked me up. And Ellie is a great role model for strong women. I really liked that she wasn’t interested in his money. Her stubbornness did crack me up too. This is a great start to this series and I really can’t wait to find out what happens with Trey’s brother in the next book! This author did a great job narrating her story. I felt like Ellie was telling it to me herself! A must read/listen for romance fans. Get ready to fall for this couple and laugh out loud yourself.

Did you ever have one of those days where you just know fate steps in? Emma is the proud owner of her town bakery, and on her way to work, she hits a pedestrian. Trey, the victim, is a billionaire, consumed with working. Now that he has come to know Emma, even though it was in an unusual way, he realizes there is more to life. But can these two find love? They are completely different. I loved these two. Emma is quirky, but her baked goods are to die for. I love authors that feature food! Trey is complicated, yet so easy to know. There is just something about him that makes you fall for his wiles. It’s a quick listen, but the story is sweet and on target with such a great message. I really enjoyed this quickie, and can’t wait to hear the next one featuring Trey’s brother! Narrated by Ann Omasta, we have a great story and wonderful listen!

This was a delightful , clean, short romance audiobook about two individuals that meet by accident, literally.
When Ellie Thome, a bakery owner hits a man in the dark road on her way to her bakery, she never realized her life would change forever.
Said victim is billionaire Trey Donovan. A man way out of her league but one who she’s attracted to immediately.
Will he sue her for the accident? Will the expense of his hospital stay bankrupt her? Or will this meeting be the beginning of their HEA?
Can’t wait to see what the author has in store for Trey’s brother in book 2.
I just loved Ellie she is such a real character and you can’t help but love her and want things to work out for her, Trey is use to having women flock to him but you can see that once he meets Ellie things change but boy does he still have some learning to do when trying to really interact properly with women and that money doesn’t mean everything to all women lol. I loved this and just wished it was a little bit longer as I wasn’t ready to let go of Ellie and Trey just yet.
Short and Sweet with a side of Cupcakes
This was an absolutely adorable story and the characters were very relatable. I enjoyed it so much!!! Cupcakes and Billionaires what is better than that?
SUCH A SWEET READ!!!
A wonderfully sweet and humorous read. You fall in love with the main characters. They have an undeniable chemistry that catching fire. I was taken in from the beginning. I truly enjoyed this tale and would recommend it to anyone who is a romance enthusiast.
Loved this book. The story of Ellie and Trey was as sweet as the cupcakes mentioned in the book. I also loved that the book included two of the cupcake recipes at the end of the story. I could not put the book down.
I’m not really sure what to say about this quick little story. It’s cute and fun and wholly unrealistic. But that’s at least half the joy in fiction, right? I just would have liked to see something “happen” in this story. There’s not really anything in it that caught my attention outside of the initial collision that introduced Ellie and Trey. High drama, high angst stories are exhausting to read, but apparently I need a little of either one to fully enjoy a book. I’ve read other works from this author, so I’m willing give the rest of the series a try.
Ann Omasta, The Broke Billionaire -This is my first read by this author and I love it. A well written, funny romance between two opposites that attracted to each other. The plot is entertaining and the dialog is believable; all the characters come across as decent people. There is a description of the story, which I appreciate knowing what I’m about to read. 5*
Itty Bitty Kitties #2 – This book is almost as funny as Goofy Newfies. There still are plenty of belly laughs, but there’s a touch of gravity with a couple of issues. We’re still in the same neighborhood, just next door and with two new, scratch that, eight new main characters. Again there are the interesting storylines, interesting characters with a variety of personalities, and interesting happenings that are only to be expected.
While this book would still work for a bedtime story, there are parts I would skip over depending on the ages of the kiddos. I contacted the author to review this book and received it through Booksprout. 5*
Goofy Newfies #1- Warning this book will hurt you! It’s been awhile since I belly laughed my way through a book. Every page had me rolling on the floor till my sides ached. The storylines are cute and interesting. I liked all the characters, some were actually cute and interesting and furry; the humans were likable and nice to have as neighbors.
Of everyone had their own personalities, whether two or four legged. This is a sweet, clean, wholesome read and it’s perfect for a kids’ bedtime story. I luckily got to chain read the second book. Not only was it great to read a good humor and love filled story, but it was well edited. 5*
