“The Brides of Pecan Grove” by Natasha Queen is a second chance sweet romance. It held my rapt attention from start to finish. As I read it, I was spellbound and captivated. The two main characters, Adam and Ava are so realistically portrayed and skillfully delineated that they actually spring to life with amazing wit and humor. You will be so utterly refreshed as you follow the lives of these two sensitive people, surrounded by trustworthy friends who truly love them. With painful, bittersweet memories, Ava’s unrequited love finally finds fruition in the beautiful pages of this awesome book. I highly recommend this lovely book by a truly gifted author, Natasha Queen.
Ava owns a struggling florist shop in the small town of Pecan Grove. One day she gets a call from an old high school friend, telling he is getting married and that he had heard good things about her shop. He asks if she can do the flowers for his wedding and she agrees. When he comes in to sign the contract, he has Adam with him. They had been best friends in high school, but Ava was surprised to see him. She had a mad crush on him back in school and one day he left, breaking her heart. I really enjoyed this book about small town life and renewed friendships. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes second chance stories. I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Queen.

Wonderful story of a first love lost and second chances. I enjoyed the realistic characters and the quirkiness of some of the small town individuals. The story is easy to read and seemed to fly by.
I received this as an ARC and chose to give my opinion.
The Brides of Pecan Groves!!
Ava and Adam were best friends until Adam left town without looking back while Ava was waiting for him as they’d agreed. This broke her heart and she thought she had moved forward with her life. She opened a florist shop in town, and now Marcus and Minnie want Ava to provide the flowers for their wedding. Of course, Adam is right there when Marcus asks Ava for her services as he’s Marcus’ best friend! It’s a good thing she’s over Adam! Or is she? They agree to temporarily be peaceful so they won’t affect Marcus and Minnie’s wedding. But Adam and Ava both discover, their past and their feelings are not as done as they thought.

I loved this book, a good read.
Absolutely loved this story. The author has created characters that you can relate to. High school friends Ava and Adam were torn apart after graduation and meet again at a friend’s wedding.

I liked how Adam could get under Ava’s skin so easily but she let him. Great chemistry and great read!
Adam and Ava have a past that has caused her great pain. They meet again years later and the pain is still there. I’m glad she didn’t immediately let him back into her life and how he persisted. A really sweet second chance romance with one seeking forgiveness and the other granting it. They were an adorable couple. Looking forward to more in this series.
Ava and Adam were friends growing up and just when she was ready to become more than friends he broke her heart and left town. Now that he’s back can she forgive him and will she finally find out why he left? This is a sweet, short second chance at love story with believable characters and a good HEA.
The book is amazing if someone still not reading the book well i recommend this book
Ava has more than I can imagine going on inside her head. Just love her
Wonderful read
A page turner, could not put this book down. Wonderfully written, entertaining, and exactly what I enjoy In Reading material. Thank you Natasha for sharing your talent with us, the readers.

Adam broke Ava’s heart when he left right after graduation without a word to her. It’s been 8 years without a word and now Adam is back in town for his best friend’s wedding. The sparks fly and much needs to be resolved before the HEA.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Good book. Hope there will be a continuation of their story!!

This second chance romance is an easy read. I got this e-book compliments of the author. I liked that Ava was spunky Texan. Although she had issues with Adam was returning for a wedding. she did not avoid him. Since this was a novella, I did not feel that the (predictable) ending was rushed or a surprise.
I enjoyed the storyline and the interaction of friends, it is refreshing to read a book that is a clean sweet romance.
While I’m not a fan of novellas this is an easy to read tale. My main dislike is that I felt the ending was a bit rushed. There was plenty of buildup & great tension between our protagonists, I just felt a bit more would’ve been nice. As this is part of a series now doubt we’ll hear in future books.
I liked the fiery Ava who still held a grudge, when the guy she couldn’t get over, Adam, returned for a friend’s wedding. Of course there was a reason he left town as there always is.

Ava is a spunky determined and independent woman who holds a grudge like nobody’s business. Adam her former love interest moves back to town and walks smack into a wall formerly known as girlfriend Ava. Adam hopes to rekindle the flames but grudge bearing Ava is a no go with this idea. You will grin, gnash your teeth once or twice and cheer and sigh eventually with this second chance romance with a bit of grit!
The storyline was well written and the wonderfully created characters kept me totally enthralled until the turn of the very last page!
