For six long years Thomas Moreland has dreamed of the beautiful young noblewoman who rescued him from death. While amassing his fortune in India, not a day passed he did not recall Felicity’s fair loveliness, did not recall the silken tones of her sweet voice, did not desire to possess her.
Now a widow, Felicity Harrison does not recognize the handsome nabob as the young man left for dead by … dead by highwayman years earlier. Though she wants nothing more than to snub the arrogant man who promises to rescue her family from financial ruin in exchange for presenting his sister to Society, she cannot snub him. She must force herself to bear his company. But the longer she is with him, the more she has to force herself to remain true to her dead husband’s memory. Why is it the humbly born Thomas Moreland possesses more nobility that any man of her class? And why is it she finds it harder and harder to mourn a dead man when Thomas’s virility awakens her deepest desires?

My kind of read!
Magnificent, delicioso!
Characters were well developed.
Good reading. Wanted to get to the end to see how all turned out.
Sweet romance
I loved this book. Great story line. Held my interest. Enjoyed tremendously.
A good entertaining read
did not enjoy. Don’t like the sexly books.
After reading this book i could actually see people of this era living the way they did. I loved seeing this woman brought forth from her grief to living again.
Interesting characters who persevered. Love a story where good wins.
I am a hopeless romantic and enjoyed this romantic novel
This was a ‘why can’t all men be like that’ kind of story. Kind of a fairy tale, and that’s what makes it such a good read. I loved the characters, and hope to read some of the other books about the supporting characters.
Good story and was a fun way to spend the afternoon.
Great story about dreams coming true!
Enjoyed this rocky road to romance.
I read so much but love with books are a series……………this was the first book in The Brides of Bath Series and I will read at least the second book. I enjoyed this book it was a fast read for me but I like it when I can spend an afternoon curled up in a chair and have a good read.
The story has some nice twists and a murder. Love over comes class prejudices of the noble vs commoner. All in all a very nice read.
Good regency romp.
Predictable, but a good story of the period. Loved the descriptions of the clothes and Bath, England.
I enjoyed it from a seamstres point of view.
