For six long years Thomas Moreland has dreamed of the beautiful young noblewoman who rescued him from death. While amassing his fortune in India, not a day passed he did not recall Felicity’s fair loveliness, did not recall the silken tones of her sweet voice, did not desire to possess her.
Now a widow, Felicity Harrison does not recognize the handsome nabob as the young man left for dead by … dead by highwayman years earlier. Though she wants nothing more than to snub the arrogant man who promises to rescue her family from financial ruin in exchange for presenting his sister to Society, she cannot snub him. She must force herself to bear his company. But the longer she is with him, the more she has to force herself to remain true to her dead husband’s memory. Why is it the humbly born Thomas Moreland possesses more nobility that any man of her class? And why is it she finds it harder and harder to mourn a dead man when Thomas’s virility awakens her deepest desires?

The first book read by Ms Lisa. Enjoy to the end. Read in less than 28 hours. Recommend highly.
Great story told well.
plot ends with reader wanting to continue with the lives of the characters—next book is With His Ring! looking forward to it enjoyed author’s style/plot
Enjoyed it so much I started reading the rest of the series. Also have visited Bath England and the author had done her historical homework. Setting very accurate. Historical accuracy is important to me since I am a history buff, too.
Good writer. Part of a series of books.
A really fun book to read. I found humor, relatable characters, romance, suspense and a few twists to make this book a must read. I am really looking forward to the next book.
I enjoyed this romance with a little bit of mystery in it. I won this set of books, Exclusive Jewels-Vol 2, and I voluntarily chose to review this story. I’ve given it a 4.5*rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. Apparently several women were looking for husbands except a widow who was pursued anyway. This story had a little intrigue and a …
Cheryl Bolen wrote a Wonderful & Beautiful Book “The Bride Wore Blue”
Felicity & Thomas’s Journey to HEA was a difficult yet Romantic.
The Story is well written & flowed Wonderfully.
I enjoyed all the Characters in the Story as well. I look forward to reading about Glee’s & Carlotta’s Stories in the ‘The Brides of Bath Series.
I throughly enjoyed this book by Cheryl Bolen – Felicity and Thomas are wonderfully strong characters devoted to their families. Of course long simmering love is a wonderful thread throughout this book.
Sweet romantic tale
Romantic mystery. A little slow paced.
I love Regency romances. A strong woman and a gentleman who never forgets her and now wants to love her and make her life better.
A nice love story with an independent woman/widow and a person she showed kindness to many years prior.
OPINION OF BOOK: This historical romance, set in Bath England was a delight to read. Felicity was a charming widow who was doing her best by her younger siblings since her father’s death. The characters are well written and engaging. They jumped off the page and were in no way the run of the mill blah blah blah. Although I have to admit the hero …
Good reading
This is a lovely and charming well written regency historical romance about a woman Felicity who is no damsel in distress as she saves Thomas some years before, but unknown to her he has held a torch for her the entire time. They meet again as they both move to Bath and now that he is wealthy goes about wooing her in all the wrong ways! Talk about …
Maybe it was just not a good day for me but I didn’t like this book. I didn’t even finish it.
I liked the story very much.
Sometimes real life includes characters that are flawed but still have enough self worth and kindness to change their own life. Meet two such characters
The main characters give new meaning to the phrase true love
