Nothing could have prepared me for the highest bidder.Selling my virginity at Club Kaswell seemed crazy but when Oliver Ford bought me, nothing could have prepared me for the kind of man he is. On the outside, he looks like a handsome professional but only sick, depraved men frequent this dark underground club. Even as I exit the auction with my new owner–my soon-to-be husband––I know I have to … owner–my soon-to-be husband––I know I have to get away from this man before he ruins me. He’s everything my parents ever warned me about but my body betrays my mind at every turn, making it impossible to resist him; just one touch from this man shocks my body to the core.
I only have to pretend to be his for the next 30 days before I can leave but when the past comes knocking, he’s the only one who can save me.

What a great quick read from Vivian. This was a fun afternoon read and I really enjoyed Kendra and Olly’s story. Kendra sells herself in a bridal auction to get away from an abusive home life. Can’t wait to read more from this series.
Good story
This is quick easy read by Vivian Ward in the The Wedding Season series and is written in conjunction with other Flirt Club authors. The story is well written and the characters are interesting and believable within the context of the storyline. This is a romantic story with a BDSM flavor. Oliver is a member of Club Kaswell, from Vivian’s Risky series. He’s jaded and doesn’t think he will ever find a wife. Enter Kendra who is at the club for a bridal auction. She will be auctioned to the highest bidder as a “wife” for 30 days or maybe if they get along for forever. Suffice to say that Oliver is her knight in tarnished armor so to speak. A lot happens in this book in a short amount of time but Olly and Kendra do get their HEA. There is some Bdsm but nothing hardcore. I liked this story.

She had nothing, her father saw to that, with Drunken, abusive ways. Now at 24 and virgin, the abuse was no longer bearable when her younger sister get burned by him. With no means, she agrees to be in a marriage auction. Nervously she walks out to the stage and is sold to a billionaire lawyer for a million dollars. Will the 30 day trial period lead to a real marriage and what about saving her sister and mother.
This steamy contemporary romance deals with more than romance and pulls you in to the plight of a young woman desperate to save her family. The characters are well written and both main characters have a lot to learn about themselves and each other. I like that social issues are brought up and that action is taken. The story is easily read in an evening and leaves you feeling good. The narrative is well done and the writing compelling enough to keep you interested. The steamy parts fit into the storyline well and add rather than subtract from the over all plot. It is a story of sacrifice, acceptance and love.

I am all for all things kinky and different. I haven’t read many from this author but as soon as I started this book I couldn’t stop.
My heart aches for Kendra and I wanted to make everything better for her. I had my issues with her mom and for the fact that they stayed but I know everything isn’t that simple. But hearing her scared and afraid just from a simple walk made me incredibly sad. She could be smart, she could do so much but fear eats at her. When she makes a life changing decision I nearly screamed out “finally”! The change in her was just about immediate! I think the change scared her into hiding and waiting. Such a big moment for Kendra seemed a little rushed. Even after another life changing moment it seemed to skip a year without much explanation.
The story is great!! The character are very diverse and have depth to them but some parts seemed rushed. I loved so many things about this book but I think some parts could’ve been expanded. I am VERY intrigued about this club and will need to catch up on the series!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet these wonderful characters!
This story is short but really good. Kendra grew up in a crazy household which led her to Club Kaswell at an auction. Her bidder turns out to be so much more than she could have asked for.
Kendra is 24 years old and lives with her parents and her 18 yr old sister. Her life is anything but ideal. Her father is an abusive alcoholic who supplements his disability checks by selling drugs in the neighborhood. He does not allow them to leave the house except for school and store, and since Kendra has graduated, she has not been allowed to go to college or work. Her sister Rachel will graduate this year and she has been trying to figure out a way to get them away from their father.
Her friend Amy tells her about an upcoming Bridal Auction that is happening at Club Kaswell where she works as a bartender. The bride has to stay with the groom for at least 30 days and if it doesn’t work out on either end they can get an annulment. The bride would get to keep half the auctioned price. That would give her money to get her mom and sister out.
So auctioned she is for $1 million dollars! She is a virgin and brings a high price. Oliver Ford, an older, very handsome lawyer, is her groom. I don’t really think they are married at this point, not quite sure how this marriage part is supposed to work. Well, Kendra is very inexperienced and naive to the ways of the world and Oliver knows that she could be it for him. He is ready to settle down.
I enjoyed the interaction between these two, the exploration of her sexuality and becoming her own person. Oliver wanted her to open up and talk and didn’t understand why she was so closed off. What happens when her father comes after her? And how do her mother and sister fare with her gone?
This is a short, easy read with a lovely epilogue. It is part of the Wedding Season Series by the Flirt Club and I’m sure you will enjoy all the other books in this series, too. Five Star Review!
Really good story!
A sexy, sassy, romantic story. Kendra has had a hard life. The only way she can see a way out is by the bride auction her friend tells her about. Olly is older, dominant and all alpha male. He sees Kendra as is taken with her. His broken doll that he wants to fix. He’ll show her everything she needs to know and protect her so she never wants to leave. Such a fairytale romance with a touch of BDSM
Author Doesn’t Disappoint with this Novella.
Love how author, Vivian Ward can take a dark theme and brighten it up for this novella/series. She even provides wonderful extended epilogue scenes by both main characters, Oliver and Kendra.
The storyline is not new but that’s ok. It’s used to validate why a young woman puts herself up for auction – to save her mom and sister from her evil and abusive father. There to rescue her is the older dominant man, Oliver.
This novella packs it all in and provides the reader with solid entertainment for a couple of hours. So I’m definitely recommending this novella for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

I really loved this Kendra and Oliver’s story from start to finish, Kendra, Mom and sister are living shite life with her father, She wants to get them out away from her father, So her enters in to The Bridal Auction @ Club Kaswell, Were see’s Oliver Ford, and see’s her up on the stage and wants her the minute he see’s her. OMG there chemistry was off the hook. Want to no how there story plays out well you have to ONE-CLICK NOW, I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. This fast paced quick read gives us a glimpse into Kendra’s isolated world. Her father is abusive and controlling and she’s finally reached her limit. She convinces herself that her decision is the best way for them to escape the monster they live with, but will Kendra’s secrets destroy her chance at breaking free?
This quick, easy ready by Vivian Ward is the first of her work I’ve read so I had no idea what to expect. It’s more than just a BDSM club or a virgin story. This is the story of a young woman who is verbally and physically abused by her father. Not just her but her sister and mother as well. So when her best friend tells her about a bridal auction being held with the bidders being very wealthy men, Kendra knows that’s what she needs to do. If she can maintain for thirty days she’ll have enough money to get her mother and sister out of the situation and to safety. I was impressed not only with the author’s ability to tell a story but also with her world and character building. It held my interest and made me want to see more of what would happen next.
I enjoyed this story .. it is full of self discovery and standing up for your own .. the characters are well described and come into their own in this short and powerful story. mine therefore 4 1/2 star.

Loved this story! We get to visit Club Kaswell again from the Risky series and we meet Oliver. He bids on Kendra, who’s trying to get money from the being sold to help her mom and sister out. But what happens when she actually likes him and they fall in love? I loved their story and the epilogue.

I have no words. These books were amazing. I absolutely loved every word. Loved Olly & Kendra and rooted for them the entire time. So beautifully written with a hea.
Going once…going twice…sold!
All I can say about this book is….awesome read! How far would you go to escape an abusive life? That is the question Kendra must answer. Her answer is quite extreme. One look is all it takes for Oliver to decide that Kendra is his but will he be able to keep her? Let the bidding begin…

Part heartbreak, certainly taboo. Count on Ward to take temptation in a shocking direction. Emotion takes a sensual turn to a happy ending. With heavy themes, shocking romance and tons of heat, Ward gives readers something to remember. (3.5 stars)
What a wonderful happy story. Yes there some trigger points of an overbearing father, but in the end love will win out. Enjoy
The Bridal Auction by Vivian Ward a five-star read that would have you bidding billions. This was such a well-done story, where it could have been tawdry and crass, it was classy and beautiful instead. Kendra was such a great character, she just leapt from the page and appeared fully formed in my brain and was someone I wanted to know more about and wanted her to get everything she ever deserved. What I wouldn’t give for an Olly of my very own.
I thought this was an easy short read. Kendra and Olly I thought had great chemistry. It was well written and a good storyline. I was hooked from the first page. It kept my interest.
