Bratva life is simple: You steal from the brotherhood, you pay with your life. But the thief is a woman, and she’s too beautiful to die.My wedding band will be her collar. Our vows will be her shackles. She will be my captive bride.
Demyan is from the mafia or in Russian the Bratva. Larissa is caught trying to steal and is forced to wed him as repayment of her debt. This story is smoking hot sex, mysteries, secrets and death. I loved reading about this couple. If you like dark romance with BDSM themes, pick up this book and the first book in the series.

Demyan is deliciously yummy!
Dark, dangerous, dominant and delicious, Demyan is a force to be reckonned with and not to be played.
When Calina incurs the wrath of the Bratva, her sister Larissa assumes her identity to take the punishment.
And Deyman is a master at punishment, brutal, controlling and cold when needed, but offering immense pleasure when his demands are met.
Their relationship is bound, by lies, deceit, chemistry, heat, BDSM, violence and more. Out of this rough beginning, feelings develope and truths are revealed, but while the truth may set you free, your heart may keep you a captive.
The changes in their relationship and how they come together as a team and how she earns a place in his “life” was so well written.
Action, danger, intensely sexual, and sexy in it’s own way this was a fantastic book and I loved every moment of it!

After reading the first dark mafia romance in this series I was hooked and couldn’t wait for the second one to come out, Demyan and Larissa’s story.
Demyan Federov is the pakhan of the Bratva and an extremely hard, dominant man in every way as you could imagine. When crossed by a Brague girl he is determined to use her ‘services’ to repay her debt.
Larissa Brague is an intelligent young woman who will do anything for her twin sister and does.
These two lead characters have such wonderful chemistry together, they fit like peas and carrots. Although Demyan sets out to teach his ‘kitten’ quite a few lessons he discovers a few for himself too. His ultra alpha ways go hand in hand with his position as pakhan of the Bratva so don’t appear over the top at all. Larissa is a determined and even stubborn person at times, when she perceives a need to be. She draws on an inner strength that is incredibly strong.
The thing that shines through in this fast paced story is that love as well as respect for your family, whether they are biological or not, is earned through your own actions.

THE BRATVA’S BRIDE 5 STAR REVIEW
ೋღ ೋღ ღೋ ღೋ
THE BRATVA’S BRIDE D.E.L.I.V.E.R.S! JANE HENRY’S MAFIA ROMANCES ARE LIKE AN ADDICTION AND I’M AN ADDICT WAITING FOR MY NEXT FIX.
I just finished my binge read of The Bratva’s Bride by author Jane Henry and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Demyan and Larissa will steal your breath along with your heart. I loved the plot, the twists and mostly, I just loved this couple.
I’ll start by saying I’m in looooooove with Demyan!!! You will be too. He’s soooo possessive, incredibly alpha, a bit scary and VERY GROWLY!! Everything I love in a dark dominant alpha mafia hero/antihero is jammed packed into this one character.
I mean really, there is nothing hotter than this growly Russian Bratva boss, licking his chops, circling his prey and exacting his power over his newly acquired bride to be.
He’s the whole scary, sexy, swoony, drool-worthy, badass package. I didn’t just want to take a big ole bite right out of Mr. Dominate Me while secretly wishing I could take Larissa’s place (which is interesting given the plot twist) while he meted out his hurt so good punishments. I wanted to devour him whole!!
I adored Larissa’s character. A heroine sure to please everyone. She is strong, yet vulnerable. She’s on a mission to save her twin sister and that mission could cost her her own life.
Demyan’s wants what was stolen from his organization. He will make one woman pay for her crime. But what if that comes at a cost to another? Will the debt be paid? Will she submit or forfeit her life? Time will tell.
Jane Henry writes the best Dominant mafia romances and as always, hooked me like a desperate fish in the first chapter and once I was done, she left me floundering on dry land wanting more more more. Her books are like an addiction and I’m already suffering withdrawals and begging for my next fix. So, it’s no surprise that I’m hoping that Maksym’s story is not too far from my greedy little grasp.
Would I recommend this sexy, thrilling and suspenseful mafia romance? You bet I would. So, if you haven’t already, go grab your copy of The Bratva’s Bride and get ready for a fantastic 5-star thrill ride.

Jane Henry is one of the best at writing Dom books and The Bratva’s Bride is another good one. It’s the second book in her Wicked Doms series and stands alone but if you enjoy this, you should definitely read The Bratva’s Baby. Demyan is now in charge of his Bratva brotherhood and someone has been stealing their money. This person needs to be punished and it leads them to a woman named Calina. She’s living in a mental institution but Demyan is going to find her and exact retribution. What he doesn’t know is that Calina has a sister, Larissa. Larissa is a hacker and when she finds out what her sister has done, she devices a plan to get her out of the institution to a safe place and assume her identity to keep her safe. Demyan and Larissa begin a dark relationship of mutual distrust. Demyan is a dark Dom but Larissa is no meek submissive and gives back as good as she gets. Their story is told from dual POV and is a naughty, delicious, twisty tale!

I’m not a huge Mafia fan, not sure why??
Jane Henry is one of the few I read, mainly because hers are about the characters, not just a “Mafia” story.
Demyan and Larissa had me from the beginning, I was unsure how I wanted this to go. Just knew I wanted her to be happy, to have a happy life but it looked like that wasn’t in the cards for her!
I couldn’t put this down, read it in one read. Have to say I’m hooked on these, Dark Mafia, dark romance, addicting book crack, whatever you call it, I’m ready for more!!!

What a wonderful tale. Larissa’s character is so brave and courageous. All that she does to save her sister is amazing. Demyan is a very demanding and controlling character. I literally laughed at how clean and organized he kept his rooms. This is a dark story with a hea ending. If you don’t like them dark don’t pick this up but if you do like to walk on the dark side… this is the story for you.

This story is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Demyan and Larissa are the couple of all couples in the Bratva. There isn’t a minute that I didn’t feel each character. From page one until the end held me in an amazing suspense. I want more. This is one journey you don’t want to miss. The writing and flow of this book is amazing. I highly recommend this book.

Dark and Intense!
WOW, that was a fantastic roller coaster ride from start to finish. There is so much action packed into this story with a lot of very hot moments sure to raise your blood pressure! So much murder, suspense, intrigue and too many dark moments to count. I was sucked into this story from page one.
I love the character dynamics and the back stories for both Demyan and Larissa. They are both strong fierce characters. Larissa for her undying loyalty to her sister and Demyan for his complete and utter devotion to his Russian mob brotherhood. We get snippets of other characters that could potentially be bigger players in stories to come.
Fantastic writing and storytelling. I love mobster stories and I can’t wait to read more.
Highly recommend.

Jane Henry has done it again with “The Bratva’s Bride.” We get to meett another Dom and an intriguing twist the way this plays out. Against the odds and contrary to what is suppose to happen, there are strong emotions involved with this pair. Once again, I find myself falling in love with the bad guy!?! I thought “Bratva’s Baby” was her best book to date when it came out, but now I see, this is going to be a series that just blows everything out of the running. What a terrific find!! I’m voluntarily reviewing and advanced reader copy of this book.

I love a good Jane Henry novel and I got one with Bratva’s Bride. The story pulled me in and held me until the end. Because of her talent with words, Ms. Henry relates a story in such a way that I forget I’m reading and I actually experience the events with the characters.
This is the story of Demyan and Larissa, and it’s filled with angst, desire, suspicion, hatred, love and redemption all rolled up in one delicious story. I would recommend any book written by Jane Henry. If you like this genre, and I most certainly do, you won’t be disappointed, at all.

Oh Demyan! He is evil, he is cruel, he is intense. I could not get enough of him!
Jane Henry steps out of her comfort zone and writes such an intense story, it is impossible to put down. Demyan seeks revenge for the Bratva. He takes his role seriously and will do whatever it takes to protect his brethren, until he meets Calina. Demyan wants to punish her, and that he does. The scenes are extremely breathtaking. I do not want to give too much away because there are surprise twists and turns that make this story so good! But…..that cage scene….Oh…MY…..GOODNESS!!!!
I know I forgot to breath while reading this book, often! The suspense in this story is too much to handle all at once. I had to force myself to take small breaks to just breath, calm myself and then dive back into Demyan’s world. It WILL capture your mind completely. This is a MUST read!

Sigh . . . . Ms Henry once again works her magic in this tale of revenge, retribution, hacking, danger, tension suspense, sizzling steam & more.
Larissa (h) is frantic when she discovers just what her brilliant but mentally injured twin sister Calina has done & just WHO she’s done it to: The Bratva. The terrifying & brutal Bratva. And Larissa knows the Bratva will come to wreak payment & she will not let her sister die. And thus Larissa manages to switch places with her sister in time for the Bratva to claim Larissa instead . . . .
Damyan (anti-H) is not only the collector of Calina, he is the current head of the Bratva in this area of Russia. He makes his way into the mental hospital to Calina/Larissa & calmly, coldly removes her to his compound & control. But once he sees the beautiful woman his plans for retribution change; he advises Calina/Larissa she is now his ‘property’ who will ‘service’ him at his whim, in any way, at any time & any place he so chooses. She is to be compliant, respectful & submissive or swift & harsh physical punishment will follow. Every hour she ‘works’ will be deducted from the 3.2 million ruble debt owed to him & his Bratva brethren.
And to prevent Damyan from finding Calina, Larissa agrees to his demands. But she finds it hard to initially avoid punishment, & while she isn’t a true masochist, she is confused by how stimulated she is by Damyan’s punishments, pleasuring & stern dominance. By how ‘right’ it feels to be comforted by him, how she begins to look forward to interacting with him. And she soon has to remind herself that Damyan is her CAPTOR & she is nothing but his captive . . . .
The author, as always, does an excellent job in drawing the reader into the minds, lives & situations of her characters through alternating POV’s. The reader feels Larissa’s terror for her sister’s life, her confusion & fear at the situation she’s been thrust into & finally her slow realization that she just may be coming to feel more for Damyan then he could ever feel for her. And the reader feels Damyan’s denial that his cold controlled mind & heart could in any way be thawing for his slave, his Little One, his Kitten because she is merely there to slake his sexual needs & possibly aid him in acquiring a new & profitable business client.
There is suspense, danger, action, steamy sex & the hope of love between a cold ruthless Bratva boss & a beautiful hacker trying to keep her lovely head above water while surrounded by sharks in this excellent story.

This is the second book in Jane Henry’s Bratva books. And it was really good.
This is Demyan and Larissa/Calina’s story. I have to put her name like that, for reasons. I like both characters. I think Demyan lied to himself at least more than once. I’m not entirely sure that he meant to. I think it was more like he was trying to convince himself that what he wanted to be true was true. I think that Larissa/Calina is a very strong, loyal character. She does what she feels is the best thing to do, even if it’s not the way that most people would do. She has her own code, and she sticks to it.
There’s a lot that goes on in this book, and I loved every second of it. Well, except for that one moment that made me really mad, but you have to have that one moment, for all kinds of reasons, including maintaining the appropriate tension in the book. And even that moment, I loved, if that makes any sense.

The Bratva’s Bride is a stand alone romance set within Ms. Henry’s Wicked Doms Series. Calina stole from the Bratva, thinking that they are the ones who killed her father, and now the Bratva is after her. When Demyan comes personally for her, he sees a beauty and intelligence that must become his; his to claim, his to master, and his to wed. But when her secrets break his trust, will Calina’s future only hold death?
Holy smokes, this book is intense, full of steam, full of angst, full of sacrifice, and full of love. Demyan and his Calina are so amazing and there were twists and turns in this book that just had me enthralled. Some I knew were coming, others I didn’t see, and all of them had me at the edge of my seat. This was definitely a book that the next thing I knew, it was way past my bedtime, but refused to quit because it was just soooooo good! Demyan was extreme. He was dominant, full of anger and distrust, but I loved how he acted around his Calina, and was able to soften some of his harsher sides of himself. Calina… well, I don’t want to give anything away about her, but dang, she blew my mind, everything that she was willing to do for those she loved, and the inner strength she possessed to take care of and love Demyan. I loved this book. I devoured this book. I was reading this book holding my breath just waiting to see what would come next. I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring!!

What a captivating exciting story these characters are written with very strong personalities. Deyman head of the Bratva is one to fear he is not a nice man and when something goes wrong this time he is taking care of the situation himself and that is extracting the most punishment he can from Larissa who is playing with fire with her secrets and is now a captive to his every command. Now these two are some kind of hot and it just melts off the pages the intense heat, the little bit of normal that their able to show gives us a little hope. Excellent storyline that will have you complete and utter attention through to the end.
