Bratva life is simple: You steal from the brotherhood, you pay with your life. But the thief is a woman, and she’s too beautiful to die.My wedding band will be her collar. Our vows will be her shackles. She will be my captive bride.
I hadn’t read the first book in this series, but it worked just fine as a stand-alone. Loved the setup, of the heroine sacrificing herself for her sister. Loved the sexy BDSM scenes once she was captured.
It’s always difficult to bring logic and believability to these sorts of scenarios, where a couple goes from perhaps wanting to kill each other all the way to love, but the author managed it nicely.
Demyan’s lair and his Bratva boss persona were quite believable, and very fun. He was an excellent dominating alpha, who slowly begins to discover his heart.

Outstanding Story & Narration Demyan & His Kisa!
The Bratva’s Bride: Wicked Doms
A Dark Mafia Romance
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
Jane Henry is a talented author whose stories never disappoint. She creates interesting stories that are that grab your attention and takes it hostage to the end. She is able to bring you into a different world, in this case the Bratva’s world, take you out of your comfort zone and have you relate to the characters she is writing about and keep you wanting to know more. This is dark mafia romance is no exception, it is the second book in the series but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. The characters are complex and well developed. Demyan is a boss in the Bratva, he is also a sadist Dom who takes no crap from anyone. When he finds someone has stolen from him he has his men track that person down, the thief turns out to be Calina, a patient living in a mental institution. He has plans for Calina and orders his men to go and get her. Celina’s sister Larissa has plans of her own and she will do anything to protect her sister. I loved her dedication to her sister as well as the strength and bravery to do what she did. Demyan could be a hardcore brut and while hardened he does have a conscience and a heart. I loved how everything played out, there is never a dull moment, plenty of drama, angst, suspense, mafia world action, political and turf battles, power plays and some Dom/sub action. All this leads to a great romance and a grate ending. Thank you Jane Henry for another great story and emotional roller coaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are amazing narrators and voice performers. They brought these characters to life, gave each their own voice and personality. Wen’s Russian accent was awesome, he fit the role of alpha Dom Russian Boss man perfectly. Wen’s Calina/Larissa was awesome too, she allowed you to hear her courage and strength as well as the love for her sister. Each are entertaining storytellers and together they are a magnificent team. It is always a pleasure to listen to their work. Thank you for another great listen

The Bratva’s Bride: Wicked Doms
A Dark Mafia Romance
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
Suspense, darkness, alpha male, strong female, loyalty, passion, what more do you want in a story? This second book in the Wicked Doms series is a little darker than the first and is oh so good! We met Demyan before, but now we get his story. He takes his job as head of the Bratva very seriously and when it comes to revenge he is a master. Until he meets his match with Calina. She is taken and meant to pay after she steals from the Bratva, but there is something about her that he cannot resist. But will he be able to keep her safe now? Henry writes this suspenseful story, with not only a dark aura, but adds a passion that is unmatched. I love her characters, each being complex, and we get to see all the layers as the story unfolds. this one has some unexpected twists and turns and kept me on edge until the very end. I had to stay up to finish!
With Demyan, Henry needed to pick a narrator who not only can pull off a Russian accent, but do it with an authoritative sound that will not only instill fear, but passion as well. The choice of Wen Ross gave it all to us. His narration is perfect, bringing the dark alpha dom to life, making us cringe and love him all at the same time. To compliment this character, we need a strong female, with emotional baggage and a voice that has the ability to tremor or lovable. Kai Kennicott is that narrator, blending with Ross and bringing this dual point of view story to life. It’s one you do not want to miss.
Calina Brague does what she has to in order to right a wrong. Larissa Brague does what she has to in order to protect someone she loves very much. Demyan does what he must for the Bratva.
It has to be one of the more dark stories that I have read so far. Our author made me glad that Demyan is a fictional character because I certainly wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley. Early on she had me feeling sorry for Larissa and what she had to endure. If you’re not into erotic stories than this book would not be for you – the cover is a great hint.
If you feel that you’re an adventurous sort than this might be the read for you. Don’t expect to see a woman who is set on a pedestal. She has to pay for sins against the Bratva and someone was enjoying it a little too much. Thankfully this is a work of fiction because I would hate to think of Demyan’s wrath touching any woman. You might have to put the story down but you’ll find yourself quickly picking it back up again because you have to know what’s going to happen next. Especially when reading the ending I wondered if I was seeing the man whose story is next. I guess I’ll just have to wait and find out if I’m right or not.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This one was just so good, this is the second book ive read by this author and I have enjoyed both so very much.
This one features at its centre Demyan the head of the Bratva and Larissa.
Larissa and her sister Calina are twins and after a supposed accident kills there hacker father Calini suffering from brain damage is institutionalised, her sister lies low while providing for her the only way she knows how with her less than legal computer skills.
But after her sister not realising the consequences of her actions steals money from the Bratva with a laptop she snuck into her Larissa knows the only way to save her sister is to switch places.
So Demyan is ice cold from the onset.
He is set in his ways and likes order in his life.
He is immaculate and very particular not only in his work but also in his playtime.
He is at heart a sadist and gets off to a degree on his partner’s pain.
Training his new kitten in how to please him to pay off her debt is going to be his pleasure.
Larissa is not stupid she is aware that the way to get through this is to behave she is also surprised to actually like the way that Demyan makes her feel.
It’s not in my opinion really that dark of a read, maybe a 3 on a scale of 10
This was told from dual pov which is always my favourite.
I do so adore stories where the anti-hero stays true to himself and the heroine accepts him for that so this one definitely didn’t disappoint in that regards as Demyan has no intention of escaping his brothers in the Bratva, being originally an orphan they are his chosen family and his bride will now be apart of that extended family.
I also really enjoyed the ending here.
On a final note, this can easily be read as a standalone.
This was a very easy read that I have no issues recommending at all.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Bratva’s Bride (Wicked Doms #2).
I always look forward to Jane Henry’s stories. I am always pulled in, and can’t put them down until I reach the end. I was not disappointed with this story at all. I loved every word. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Just what you expect from a Bratva romance. So many ups and downs with twists and turns. We have twins, kidnappings, punishments, BDSM/power play, hidden family ties, forced weddings, war, dirty politicians and more. Larissa takes her sisters place in an institution after finding out she stole money from a Bratva she believed killed their father (also mentally handicapped her in this accident). Purposely leaving it open to be found so she can get answers. Not knowing she will get killed. So Larissa switches places and has her placed with a friend. And so begins Carlinas punishment to Demyan and the brotherhood. Humiliation, pleasure/pain, submission, sex as he sees fit, punishment, etc to payback her debt. Wow. So much change and froths your see in both characters. I wish we saw more interaction between maksym and Larissa to make her reaction to him being taken make sense. Watching demyan realize what she did for her sister and all he did to an innocent woman was remarkable. It was like watching true reflection and guilt for actions you normally don’t see in a soldier of his stature. Loved the story. Can’t wait for Maksyms book.

The Bratva’s Bride (Wicked Doms #2) was a good read by Jane Henry. In the Bratva life, if you steal from the brotherhood you pay with your life. But when the thief is a woman and too beautiful to die, the outcome may change. She becomes a captive bride. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

The Bratva Bride by Jane Henry
Review
5/5 stars
Larissa and Dimitri’s story is a bit different in that Larissa doesn’t really fight back against Dimitri because she feels responsible for the actions that cause Dimitri to want to punish her. That doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of fireworks and conflict because there definitely is. Although, after how creepy Dimitri came across to Sadie I was expecting the punishments to get a lot darker. That being said there was an interesting plot, plenty of sexual tension and hot scenes, and a good character ARC for both main characters. If you like dark reads especially books with Russian Bratva you’ll love this book and series.

Absolutely positively loved this book! The overall premise was actually somewhat plausible for being a Russian mafia book. I loved the characters. Not too much internal dialogue. Just enough to let you know what the characters are thinking. I read the 1st book in this series 1st, but they don’t have to be read in order. I didn’t like the first one nearly as much as I liked this one. I definitely recommend this book.

Jane Henry writes great books with strong, Alpha men. They are always over the top possessive and domineering. And the women are always strong heroines.
Larissa will do anything for her sister Calina. And even when Calina is in trouble, Larissa steps up to pretend she is Caĺina to take the punishment for what she has done.

This story starts right off with Larissa deciding to take on
her Twin sister Calina’s identity to help protect her when
she finds out what she did to the Bratva in retaliation for
their father’s death. Calina was brain damaged in the supposed
accident that killed their father. Demyan, the head of the Bratva
now, decides Calina is going to pay for what she’s done and it
all goes downhill from there. Larissa is now known as Calina and
she is owned by Demyan until the debt is paid. I loved how both
Demyan and “Calina” got along together. Don’t get me wrong, he
does exact payment from her, but they both like her punishment
a bit too much. In this second book of the Wicked Dom Series, there
is lots of passion, attraction, secrets, danger and intrigue but it’s all
very enjoyable in the end when all the confusion is revealed along
with the truths that were hidden or misunderstood. A definite 5 star
read again for Ms. Henry and the Wicked Doms.

OMG!!! What an outstandingly awesome book. I love the tangled interplay between a lovely, caring, almost uncomplicated young woman and the hard, commanding Bratva man who kidnaps her to atone for “her” wrongs. My stomach was in knots for much of the story, while my heart just melted for the blossoming connection between these two strong people. They are each doing what they must to protect their families. This is an enticing, erotic and ever so very HOT story! I could not stop reading! WOW!

You’ve done it again, Jane Henry. You’ve given us a dark, alpha Dom and a fiesty, sexy, not always submissive girl. The premise of this book was really unique and so compelling, I found I couldn’t put it down. Demyan and Larissa start their twisted relationship because Larissa is trying to protect her identical twin sister Calina. I loved the chemistry, although at times Demyan was little too cruel. Great twists and turns, a great addition to Wicked Doms Series.
