The Braque Connection is the third Genevieve Lenard book, and the third that I have read, since I like to read a series of books in order. I truly enjoy reading these books because I was an Art Major in college and the Titles are about Artists that I studied in Art History.
The Autistic Heroine intrigues me because of her knowledge and her quirky “literalism”. We forget that everyday phrases we use may not be understood by geniuses such as Genevieve.
The Braque Connection is a continuation of an evil man who seems to know Genevieve very well. In this book I learned about 3-D printers used to make weapons that have only appeared in our recent News (in July 2018). It gave me knowledge about a technology before it became National News.
Genevieve and her “team” are terrific at solving crimes, though some of them have questionable techniques to get to the source.
It is an action-packed and gripping mystery.
I have read two of these. An interesting speculation: what if someone along the
Aspberger-Autism spectrum could bring remarkable concentration and insight to crimes in the art world. I welcomed of the other characters in these books. Well written.
Excellent characterizations and unique plot.
really enjoyed these books haven’t read the whole series. unusual twist on the heroine. looking through her eyes at the world is interesting. i like the art tie in since i love art and art history. i like the slow unraveling of the villain.
I read the whole 12 book series and hope there will be more.
I love the characters. This is the second book I gave read fon this author and this series. I gave really enjoyed and have recommended them to ihers. Great reading!
Read most of the series and enjoyed them all. The characters interactions grow as the series continues.
I really really enjoyed this book!
Interesting view of relationship challenges amongst a diverse group of individuals, and how their diversities can overcome those challenges.
Written from the perspective of a high functioning austistic art history major who investigates international art crimes for an insurance company. Fascinating, informative and VERY interesting.
I liked this whole series. Enjoyed the artists involved.
This was a great book to read – although it was fictional, it gave a lot of insight into what it’s like to live with high-functioning autism.
Interesting to have a character who is autistic yet works so hard to fit into a team. Very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed this book, lots of mystery and intrigue. I didn’t want to reach the end!
Great book but I didn’t like the ending. I guess the main character goes to completely different direction with each book rather than tie them together, which is fine. Just would have liked to have better closure.
Good book!
I love this series of books! The characters are quirky, but lovable. The fact that the main character has autism is intriguing and informational. I have read the first four this series. Highly recommend them.
good idea but some parts were incredible and too far fetched.
Great characters.
Even in fiction I like to learn something. This book provided insight into the high functioning autistic world. Good reading.
