A desperate swan song. When world-renowned nonverbal communication expert Doctor Genevieve Lenard wakes up in an unknown location, drugged and kidnapped, it pushes the limits of her autism coping skills. For the last year, Russian philanthropist and psychopath Tomasz Kubanov has been studying Genevieve just as she and her team have been studying him. Genevieve knows Kubanov is behind these senseless acts of violence. What she doesn’t understand are the inconsistencies between his actions and the cryptic messages he sends. I enjoyed the book and it was easy to follow so I could walk away from the book and pick it up later and get right back into it.
Didn’t finish the book. It didn’t hold my attention.
Boring
I enjoyed it.
The heroine is a quirky person with great ‘normal’ friends who work with authorities to solve art thefts. Read just one in the series and you will want to read them all.
I have liked this series. I am fascinated to see how a high functioning autistic person would think, feel and cope. The plot is suspensful and pretty fast moving. But it’s the main character that brings me back. The insight I have gained makes me more empathetic and understanding of parents and children who live with autism.
Second book I have read by this author. Love the story and characters. Good read!
Love the fact that the protagonist is Autistic and still manages to have a life. Seeing life through another’s eyes is enriching to my life
Not that interesting. Hard to follow.
Loved it so much, I bought the rest of the series.
It was slow moving for me
I have read 3 of this series and I’m dying to read the rest. Such flawed individuals coming together as a team! Individually they’re brilliant, as a team they’re unstoppable.
You never knew what was going to happen next!
Love this series. It is different, clever, and challenges the imagination. I love books that surprise with their twists and turns. “Jenny” is an amazing and unexpected heroine.
I enjoy the mix of lead characters, art history, technology, and intrigue.
Enjoyed it
kept me wanting more. hard to put down. loved the characters.
Have enjoyed first three books in this series.
A new approach to sleuthing, but all books in this series are very similar
