He’s the total package. Except … Eric Miller isn’t looking for a long term relationship. And he definitely isn’t thrilled when a friend signs him up for The Boyfriend Experience app behind his back. It’s not like he has a problem getting women on his own. But when he gets a notification that someone is in need of his . . . services, he’s intrigued enough to check out her profile and can’t resist … enough to check out her profile and can’t resist the sexy, sassy little brunette who only wants him as a decoy for a family event.
Evie Bennett needs a boyfriend, stat. Someone who can accompany her to her family reunion so she doesn’t have to explain that she’s been recently dumped. Again. She’s perfectly happy being an independent woman, but what’s a girl to do when her new fake boyfriend starts to feel like the real deal?

This is one throughly enjoyable book! Even though I have several things that have to be done today,I couldn’t stop reading this book until I finished it. If I don’t get everything done….oh well it was worth it. Great read!!
The Boyfriend Experience was an app created in Tall, Dark and Tempting. Eric was tricked into being the first user. This book is a stand alone, but all the other characters are built in the Tall and Dark series.
I could not wait to find out about Eric. Evie needs a boyfriend and Eric is intrigued. Both Eric and Evie are content not being tied down. Until they get together as a fake couple. I enjoyed the struggles they faced trying so hard not to fall for each other. I really enjoyed the advice Leo and Dylan give Eric as they give us a small insight to how they are doing. Eric and Evie are a great couple. They can steam up the page and still be as sweet as ever. I was very pleased to dice into Eric’s story.
Lia Langola brought this story to life. Ms. Langola has a way to narrate both male and female characters to make them easy to distinguish. Her sultry voice is perfect for any steamy scenes, and it also enhances any emotional scene. I always enjoy a story narrated by Ms. Langola. It is guaranteed to be an enjoyable experience.
I absolutely loved Eric and Evies story so much. He gets signed up to the app from a friend without permission. She does it because she needs someone to show her family shes fine and that way they dont know the truth. Of course they actually start to fet feelings for each other. Just loved this book so much.
Loved, loved, loved! Is this series over? I sure hope not!
There’s an app for everything including a perfect boyfriend to be what a girl needs to avoid family finding out she was dumped! Now that guy is all too real in the boyfriend role!
Enjoyed it. Good read. Thanks
Another great book by this duo! Loved it!
If an app could find you a fakke boyfriend…we;; thats the premise in this story and it totally worked. This story was a fun and sassy, romance with a twist. A fast paced story filled with humor, sexual tension and sweet interaction. A very cute story about finding love when you are not looking AT ALL!
Salon owner Evie Bennett can’t face attending an upcoming family gathering without the boyfriend everyone thinks she will have by her side. So a friend recommends an app and that is how she finds Eric who shares a first name with her ex. He seems perfect and well he is but he likes playing and not getting entangled.
Businessman Eric Miller has a friend who submitted him on the app but when he meets Evie he cannot resist her and so they go away for the weekend and tahts when the book gets seet, funa nd romantic. If you want a light read you will love this story about a guy not looking for the one and the one who has given up on finding anyone and watch the fun start.

Evie is looking for a short term solution when she finds herself single before a family reunion. Understandably she doesn’t want to endure the pity and questions. A client recommends a new app called The Boyfriend Experience to her. Luckily she finds a gorgeous man with the same name as her ex! It’s meant to be…
Eric is not looking for commitment. He’s happy with no relationships and short-term happiness. His friend Dylan makes a profile for him on his new app – The Boyfriend Experience – without his knowledge. He’s shocked when he gets a notification that he’s been selected. He arranges a meeting with Evie to explain things but can’t do it once he meets her. Eric agrees to go to the reunion with her and play the part of the doting boyfriend. Until their feelings and attraction catch up with them and they are no longer “playing.”
Great story with laughs, steam and love.

Eric and Evie’s Story was great. Once again, there is a seamless transition between the two writers. I can never tell there is two. Evie is a beautiful character to read. She is smart and funny. I love the program for the woman’s shelter. My only issue is the book was over too soon.
This was a great story. I laughed and I cried. And I totally got why Evie hired a boyfriend. I loved the form of payment; I mean really who wouldn’t. And holy moly she has a wackodoodle family. I’m not sure I could survive in this family, but it was a hoot reading about them.
A definite must read. I haven’t enjoyed a book this much in quite some time.
Eric doesn’t want to be in a relationship. He’s not boyfriend material and he for sure doesn’t want to be on a Boyfriend for Hire site. A close friend and creator of a new Boyfriend for Hire puts a profile up for him on his beta site and then dares him to meet his first client. Eric goes along because first, it’s a triple dare from his friends, and secondly because he decides to let the woman down in person. What he finds is Evie. A woman he doesn’t want to say no and just wants to kiss.
Evie is tired of men who decide she’s not enough and not what they want and instead of showing up at her family reunion alone she decides to do something crazy and hire a boyfriend for the weekend. It would avoid questions and looks she doesn’t want. What she gets is a very handsome, funny man who wants to help her and only wants to be paid in kisses.
During the weekend feelings grow, but can they both overcome their pasts and walk together into the future?
I love the interaction between Evie and Eric . It’s fun and hot but it also is full of emotion. A definite read if you want all the feels.
I received an advanced readers copy for an honest review.
This story had it all, all the sweetness , drama, heartache as Evie does not have a good dating life and a more meddiling family as she has to go to a reunion and needs that date The Boyfriend Experience and Eric shows all kind of sides but Evie can see through them all as he is put to the test. It was really a fun read with some emotional scenes that these characters have gone through but oh so hot together I loved it.
This is another great book by these two authors. I could not but it down. Finished the book in one day and was disappointed that it was finished. This is a must read.

Big fan of both authors. Quick easy insta lust/love read. Eric and Evie had intense chemistry and were so sweet together. If only the boyfriend experience was real I choose Eric for sure. Great cast of characters Evie family was a riot and mentions of our dirty sext guys was cool too.
I don’t think I have laughed more in a book than I did in The Boyfriend Experience. This was a sweet fast-paced fake relationship read that will leave you wanting more. Evie needs a fake boyfriend for a family reunion so a client of hers tells her about this new Boyfriend Experience App. Eric Miller is the last of his friends that are single and one of his buddy’s plays a prink by adding his profile to a dating app. While out with his friend’s (by the way these are the guys from Erika’s Tall, Dark, and Sexy series) Eric gets an email offering him a job as a fake boyfriend. Will Eric take the job or has he found love?
I want Evie’s family to adopt me; her parents and brother might be embracing but they are hilarious. I loved the way Eric protected Evie from her (blank) of a cousin and ex-boyfriend. I can’t wait for more books in this series.
This story was soo good!!! Eric is a sexy, alpha, and fun package, all wrapped in a yummy bow. He’s perfect for Evie, and builds in confidence in a way that a real man would. Evie is a breath of fresh air, sweet, and beyond giving. These two are so hot together, and will leave you a bit hot and bothered. Evie’s family (well, most of them at least) had me cracking up at their antics, and I hope to read more about them in future books! A great read I would highly recommend!
5 When Everything is Just Right Stars!!!
When Evie signed up for The Boyfriend Experience she had no idea what was going to happen, but she knew that she needed to have a boyfriend for her family reunion weekend so off she went to get a match with this new dating app…. Problem is that Eric, the man she’s matched with wasn’t really wanting to be matched with anyone…until he saw Evie.
This book is an amazing read. I loved Evie and Eric together. They’ve both had some bad things happen in their life, one worse than the other’s but nonetheless it kept them from fully committing to relationships in general. There’s a lightness around Evie and that just glows about her and Eric is a man that needs to have this woman in his life. While he didn’t want to be attracted to her, once he was “in” he was “in it to win it!”
Their banter had me laughing out loud and in the next moment a memory they shared had my tearing up. And their chemistry is explosive. I mean Eric is everything Evie likes in a man, tall, good looking, charming and knows how to make her feel things she’s never had before. Evie’s family is a hoot too! Her parents are off the charts funny and Eric’s never really experienced that before and it was so wonderful seeing him laugh and have a good time.
One of the things I especially loved about Evie is her empathy. This girl has a heart of gold and she’s doing everything she can to help people around her live the best life given some of their circumstances. And Eric is in awe of her. She’s literally the best thing that’s ever happened to him…he just needs to get out of his own to get the girl!
Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde have written a book that is engaging, sexy, smart and entertaining, while touching on some life experiences that hurt my heart just a little bit. The character development is on-point and I fell in love with our H/h immediately. This book is a great introduction to this newest collaboration between two of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!!
Have you ever looked for a book that mashed up The Wedding Date and Meet the Fockers, and eventually made it’s on story? No! Now you have with The Boyfriend Experience. The Boyfriend Experience manages to mash up those two movies and eventually weaved itself into its own story.
We meet Eric Miller who is the ultimate playboy who ends up getting sucked into his friend’s app with his own profile. Thinking that he would call the whole thing off, but is intrigued by Evie Bennett. Now evening is looking for someone to replace her ex-boyfriend for a family reunion. It’s pretty easy to see where it’s similar to The Wedding Date, but Eric isn’t a male escort. Now you wonder how this is anything like Meet the Fockers, well you have to meet Evie’s parents and it becomes crystal clear.
Yes, you are going to find an insta-love read with this one, but once at the family reunion it has its funny points. Oh my goodness, I love Evie’s parents. At the family reunion you do start to see the story morph into it’s own story. You will find a sappy ending, but you will be wanting that sappy ending. A fairly quick read with The Boyfriend Experience, but it’s a fun fill read. So, if you are in the mood for something fun, heart-warming, and possible sappy tears here and there, you might give The Boyfriend Experience a try.

I loved this one start to finish. It’s one that I was sad to see end. I loved the characters so hard in this book. It had light-hearted and fun moments that had me laughing. It also had serious hit me in the heart moments. There is a moment in the epilogue that is truly beautiful that brought a tear to me eye. I’s so meaningful. Eric definitely has some great boyfriend moves. I would want to sign up for his services. That man deserves a HEA. I loved Evie. I couldn’t have picked someone better than Eric for her. I loved Evie’s parents. They had me laughing quite often. This is definitely a book you don’t want to pass up on. Once you start this book you’t be able to put it down.
