This book kept my interest, for the most part. WAY too much detail from “Dylan”, however. Halfway though the book, I found myself asking what the heck is Dylan doing here? Why is he running off, leaving his life and job behind like this? The last quarter of the book brings the whole story together in a frightening, sad way. Dylan begins to lose his grip on reality early on in the book, but the reader isn’t allowed to fully understand why. We keep reading because it is captivating trying to figure out what is going wrong here. I gave it four stars only because of the dreadful detail in many places.
I liked the premise of this book, but found the PROFANITY appalling. It was not necessary. This story has quite the twist, tho.
Strange book. Very slow. Man leads dull life sees a child in the park. No interaction. .th e n obsessed with thoughts of child. Book drones on. I stopped reading it.
Very slow read for me. I really didn’t care for the book.
It was a very strange book.
The story is good but you can pretty much predict whom is whom in the story line. Interesting read though.
Very good psychological thriller. Loved this story and all the twists and turns.
This book was interesting to the end, with a great twist
I love this book; it was a slow start but I was still very interested in getting into the heart of it. Even though I knew how the story would turn out, I was continually in suspense till the last.
I did not enjoy this book hence only 2 stars
Interesting but predictable
The Bot in the Park is a thought-provoking read that’s really scary because it is so realistic. Something right out of a nightmare!
One of the very few books I just didn’t care to finish. Slow, plodding uninteresting. Sorry.
It is definatly a page turner. I read a lot since I retired and I enjoyed this book very
Very Good! Kept me guessing until almost the very end, and even the end surprised me.
It held my attention and had a twist at the end that was interesting.
Hard to get through. It felt all over the place.
This book seems at first like your usual abused child rescued by a lonely onlooker. That is definitely not the case. In this book the case is even more tragic. It portrays the psychological trauma that physical abuse can cause. Suspenseful and puzzling.
A little too descriptive, but good story.
Suspenseful
