What a great emotional and captivating set. The author knew what and how to write to make you feel everything going on. Very emotional and inspirational.

This is the 2nd time I’ve read books written by Stephie Walls; she has done a great job at writing a good set of books; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I love reading your books, this was one of my all time favorites from you with all the emotions and great characters.
This series is a roller coaster. Some scenes broke my heart. Other made me smile. The love shown in this book rather toxic.or true is amazing. I highly recommend reading this book you will not be disappointed. This books shows selfish people and the unselfish people that make up this world. Truly a diamond.

I want to say that I’m a fan of Stephie Walls and have many of her books. Sorry to say I wasn’t a fan of this particular book. Let me explain why. I tend to like stories with strong female characters and Annie is not. I also have an aversion to stories based around drugs. That being said, this just wasn’t my cup of tea. If you don’t have my same hang ups, you may very well like the story.

This series is one intense experience. I will admit that I did not love the Hero or the Heroine of Bound. They are both strong characters but their traits and personal habits don’t make for instant likability. I got the surface attraction, but literally cringed when I read about the life choices these characters were making. I never stopped reading though. I just could not. I did not fully understand why these two kept riding this crazy giant ferris wheel. It was obvious one of them needed to have the attendants stop the ride so they could exit. However, as I thought more about this book, I realized that we know too many people in life who make choices to stay on the insane carnival rides for reasons unknown us. At some point, I became completley invested to see how this carny visit played out. I was quite enthralled by the actions of these distinctive characters. I found myself hoping for things to either work out or change so these two could be in a healthier place.
Freed, the second book is that place I was hoping to find for these characters who had done so much-good and bad- in the name of love. It is the coming back to solid ground after exiting the giant ferris wheel. It is the making of the decision of what to do next in the amusement park of life. I found myself hoping the characters would opt for a show or a more sedate ride like paddle boats or those little motorized cars where the hardest decision is going to be who gets to drive and who gets shot gun. I must say that I enjoyed the change of pace and the healthier life choices that take place in Freed. It was a visit to the theme park compared to the carnival that is Bound.
By the time I got to Redemption, these characters had become my friends. I needed to know the why behind some of their decisions. Redemption broke my heart with its story. It is both tragic and triumphant.
The short story, Reprieve included in this collection is the perfect conclusion. It is the fireworks show which signals the end of the of one’s visit to the day’s festivities. It is noisy and spectacular, yet powerful in its effect. Reprieve is the sweet ending to a chaotic and memorable day.
In the end this collection is about the journey to living the best life possible. It is about learning to appreciate every step taken along that journey and acknowledging that the struggles along the way are essential to ending up exactly where one is supposed to be. Stephie Walls has done a wonderful job of mapping out this incredible life journey. The characters are unique and make the jouney unforgettable.
Annie and Gray have a turbulent relationship. Annie has depression and is in love with Gray. Gray is a jerk that treats Annie in a terrible manner. Will the two finally be able to come to terms? The third book is Melissa and Dan. Melissa has a heartbreaking story to be told. A great collection of stories.

This author really knows how to pack a punch with her writing. You feel everything the characters are going through and keep turning the pages needing more. You want to hate Annie and Gray at times but they are relatable and this in itself makes you think and feel even more. Enter Brett and then Dan and Lissa and everything changes for all involved. Each story in this collection is incredible. Second chances, love, redemption and a whole array of other descriptions make this a must read.
Okay so to be honest this took me longer to read than most. It was hard to get into in the beginning. It had some trigger points for me as it might for anyone who has ever been in a toxic relationship. My heart ached for Annie so many times. I wanted to pummel Gray. I absolutely loved Brett. Dan was a sweetheart and Lissa was a gem who my heart broke for as well. Their stories arent the easiest to get through but honestly in the end its definitely worth it. Once I got past the first I did much better reading through for sure.
love a great box set! fabulous read from an amazing author!
Stephie has done it again! This series was great from the beginning to end.
These stories caught my attention from the start and didn’t let go until the end. They are an emotional journey and well written. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Bound Collection by Stephie Walls was a but of a departure from what I previously have read from her. I’ve read her novellas and her co-authored series which tend to be lighter. TBC was an emotional 900+ page boxed set with all the feels.
The three book collection consists of Bound, Freed, and Redemption. Bound follows Annie and Gray. Their relationship is tumultuous to say the least. Gray is a bad boy down to his bones. Annie, who’s already fighting demons of her own and trying desperately to numb them with substance abuse, loves him so desperately she can’t let him go even when he does.
Freed is a continuation of Annie’s story with the introduction of Bret into her and Gray’s story. As Annie is at her lowest point she meets Bret. He’s everything that Gray isn’t. He’s supportive, caring, and all about Annie. Bret is book hero perfection! His love and support for Annie was everything and I just wanted to jump into the story and hug him.
Redemption featured Dan and Lisa who were secondary characters in both Bound and Freed. Lisa didn’t think love would find her until Dan walked into her life. I really enjoyed their story and I’m a sucker for cute/funny pets in stories so Ioved Lisa’s kitty, Cosmo.
I really enjoyed all three stories. All emotional and page turners, but since all three stories technically follow the same timeline, the stories do seem to jump around a little. Aside from that Stephie Walls has delivered a fantastic box set and I definitely recommend! 4 stars.
THE BOUND COLLECTION: Bound, Freed, Redemption, & Novella Reprieve!
*BOUND told the story of the turbulent relationship of Annie Teasman and Gray Dearsley. She had been hopelessly in love with him, and would do anything to keep him by her side. To lose him was like losing her soul. But just when she needed him the most, he kicked her to the curb and left her there. This might be the final good-bye to their unhealthy relationship. She still loved Gray and probably always would be bound to him, but if she wanted to survive she must try to move on. Gray Dearsley is the most perfect bad boy and spells trouble as a boyfriend. Can their turbulent relationship ever be mended???
*FREED: When Annie Teasman had reached her lowest point, then enters “perfect” Brett Ryann. He is everything that Gray had not been. In my opinion his only fault was that he was just “too” perfect. He was a giver, and not a taker. He accepted her many flaws and healed her wounds. She learned from him what healthy love looks like, and that she may actually deserve it. If his goal was her happiness, then she would make his happiness her goal as well. Complete unselfish love. Like I said, “Too Perfect!”
A piece of Annie’s Past would forever remain with Gray, but he no longer held her entire heart. Annie and Gray’s bound connection was strong, but time had made a new connection between Annie and Brett. She didn’t want to be with Gray, but he still had some weird power over her, and she still wanted him to be happy. He was a master manipulator, and her memories had morphed into something much less painful. Brett had good reasons for not wanting Annie to be “friends” with Gray. If she wanted to go to lunch with Gray he trusted her and was okay with it (told you he is too perfect). But he was smart enough not to trust Gray.
*REDEMPTION is the 3rd book in THE BOUND COLLECTION. Since I had already read BOUND & FREED, it didn’t take me long to realize it was Dan & Lissa’s story. They were secondary characters in FREED. Best friend’s of Brett and Annie.
Lissa was kind of a mystery in FREED, and this is the telling of how she ended up where she was, without family or friends. And the cute way that Dan and she had met. How she and Annie were instant friends, and the connection between the four people were destined for life. How you think you know a character in one book, to find you don’t know them at all in the next. Great writing skills I guess!!
Lots of love and heartache in Redemption. Lissa Jackson is one haunted soul. Thinking she would never find love or forgiveness. Then Dan Hadley walks into her life and even braves his drastic allergy to her cat Cosmo. A stroke of serendipity! He was more than just good looks. He had a brain and fantastic personality. Maybe an answer to her prayers?
*REPRIEVE ( A Novella) is the story of Matt Nelson. And tells his side of the story of his breakup with Lissa Jackson. The death of their 3 month old baby boy, Joshua, cost Matt as much soul-wrenching grief as her. If you read REDEMPTION than you know the heartbreaking story from Lissa’s point of view. This is the gut-wrenching story of the affect the death of Joshua had on Matt. His deep grief that lost him his fiance, when he walked out on her and left her to the wolves. His deep grief cost him his military career and almost his life. When he had hit his life’s rock bottom, an angel in nurse’s scrubs came to him. People come into our lives for a reason. His nurse, Kristen, came to him and just seeing her everyday brought him hope and a reason to live.
Ten star read. Grabbed my attention from the first chapter and never lost it. Well detailed plot. Characters were likeable and relatable. I definitely enjoyed and recommend reading this!

My Review
4 Stars
The Bound Collection by Stephie Walls is a box set that has little bit over 900 pages. The first two books tells the story of Annie Teasman who is a 20 year old college student who also works at a consulting firm who is working to deal with the past but is causing issues with her present. In the first book ‘Bound’ Annie meets Gray which becomes a turbulent relationship. In the next book ‘Freed’ we are finding what has happened to Annie along with a new main characters named Bret. These two book are really emotional reads that involved some hard story lines. But they keep you turning pages. The last book ‘Redemption’ covers Dan and Lissa’s story who we meet in the previous two books. These books do jump around in timeline if that different to you. Overall I enjoyed reading their stories.
Books that you get in this box set by Stephie Walls:
Book 1: Bound
Book 2: Freed
Book 3: Redemption
Great collection! Book 1 and 2 follow Annie has she makes her way through a rough life of relationships, depression and learning that it’s okay to speak your mind and ask for help. Several times I found myself not liking Annie and yelling at her, but had to remind myself of why she does what she does. Gray is a class A jerk and I need to know where I can get a Brett! Book 3 is Dan and Lissa’s story. Lissa’s story will break your heart. Stephie Walls has quickly become a favorite author of mine and if you read this collection, she will be yours too!
An amazing story! Loved this series and am going to continue to stalk this author! Great job girl! I am continuously amazed by you!
Bound
Annie and Gray have a very turbulent relationship. She’s damaged from her previous relationship with Will and with loosing him to suicide. She kinda blames herself. Gray is damaged from his previous marriage and divorce. Together they have an amazing sex life but not anything else. He can’t commit. Brett loves Annie and would do and give her anything she desires. Can they get their HEA or will Gray ruin everything
Freed
I loved Bound and Freed was so much more. All the ups and downs, heartbreaking moments, utter joyful moments made Annie so much stronger in the end. Everything she has dealt with since Will would’ve have broken so many but she only got stronger and finally her HEA. And she definitely wouldn’t have if she didn’t have Brett, he would do anything for Annie. Definitely have some tissues ready. Highly recommended
Redemption
Such a sad but beautiful story. Heartache, tragedy, love , and friendship are the things Melissa has to go through to gain redemption from a tragic accident in her past. Dan is there to help her and loves her unconditionally. Truly an epic love story. Highly recommended
Loved the novella at the end with Matt’s story too.
