Dear Santa,Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it? Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as-Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please. Sincerely,Holly WinterWarning: Reindeer Falls is more naughty than nice. They’re …
Reindeer Falls is more naughty than nice. They’re over-the-top Christmas with merrily-ever-afters guaranteed. These stories are novella length for quick holiday binging. Enjoy!

A sexy, quirky, feel good story I’ve come to love from Jana. According to Holly, Nick is the Grinch. Harsh and demanding though when Nick tells her to join him on a business trip to Germany she learns more about him. That maybe he is nowhere near as bad as she thought he was. A trip to a Christmas village and an old church allows the truth to come pouring out. After one night together, Holly does who she does best and over think things. Will she finally admit that despite being her boss, they have something special?
I needed this book. Jolly ole Saint Nick was all-up-in-here . Have you ever read a Jana Aston book? They’re hilarious and always just what you need. This one was a novella length and others have called it a “naughty Hallmark book” and I absolutely agree. Just enough delicious naughtiness mixed with holiday joy. It’s boss/employee, enemies-to-lovers yumminess. Ho Ho Ho your way through this one, you won’t regret it. There’s two more in this series of novellas which are being released soon.
I loved this funny sexy story. Holly is hilarious.
Holly thinks Nick is the Scrooge of all time. Nick is a hard man to read.
Could not wait to see what they would do next. Absolutely loved Holly’s idea of what an advent calendar should be
Love when enemies (at least perceived enemies) cross that line and become “friends” so this book was right up my alley. It is a short, quick read with so much heart and fun that you’ll fly through it and enjoy every moment.
Nick and Holly are great together and the things they do will make you laugh and make you sweat (in a good way). Get yourself in the holiday spirit and read this book. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and you should add it to the top of your TBR pile right away!
Whatever Jana Aston writes, I will read! I’m not much for holiday romances but you can’t go wrong with a book that starts off with a Harry Potter reference (“My boss was a Dursley in a sea of Harrys”). This was such a fun read. Loved the two main characters. Nick is the CEO of a toy company and Holly is one of his account executives. They have a simmering attraction between the two of them that boils over during a work trip to Germany. My only complaint is that the book was too short. I would have loved to spend more time on their story.
What’s not to love about this book?!!
It might be very short due to being a novella, but it sure packed a punch in all the feels. Hot grumpy boss, sweet innocent employee and a picturesque business trip to the wholly grail of Christmas towns!
Holly is all about Christmas, her whole family is, hence all the girls names. She loves her job working at the Flying Reindeer Toy Company until Nick Saint-Croix comes to take over from his retiring uncle to run the business. But he’s a grinch, Mr Scrooge himself, and some might even call him a jackal! Well that’s what Holly sees, because if she is honest with herself, she’d fall hard for him.
I had a great time just relaxing with this book and escaping into the world of a magical Christmas. Holly is adorable and her flustering will make you laugh. And Nick is not the jackal that Holly believes him to be, yeah he is a bit gruff but with good reason. The way he is attentive to her on their business trip and how he shows her the markets…. swoon! I do wish it was a little longer as I loved these two a lot, it would have been a great slow burn novel, but it takes nothing away from how wrapped up this book is in a short time. Looking forward to the sisters stories.
Nick Saint-Croix …”is the Grinch. A Scrooge. A Dursley amongst Harrys.” And Holly despises him. Her boss drives her nuts. Too bad he’s “…hidden in a six-foot-tall package of male perfection.” What’s a girl to do with a douche boss who despises Christmas when she loves it? Probably not fall into bed with him…
Ahhh I loved The Boss Who Stole Christmas! Holly and her two sisters (who get their own stories too) are fun and funny, and Nick and Holly’s chemistry is certainly enough to make anyone a Christmas believer, even the Scroogiest Scrooge. I always love Jana’s rom coms, and this time it’s even better because it’s a Christmas story! And an office romance! Reindeer Falls is a fabulous new world that I can’t wait to explore this holiday season.
Tis the season…to read some Christmas stories! Jana Aston paints the perfect Christmas town with Reindeer Falls. In true Aston fashion, Holly is the typical quirky, hard not to love heroine of this story. Lots of laughs, lots of head shaking (cause what did I just read) and lots of steamy romance in this one. Easy to read, short little feel good story your won’t be sorry you picked up.
4 stars!!
“Anything is possible at Christmas.”
Holly Winter loves everything about Christmas. She has her dream job working at Flying Reindeer Toy Company, and she couldn’t ask for anything more, except maybe a new boss. Nick Saint-Croix took over the family toy business and Holly doesn’t think Nick is a good fit for the position because he is as grumpy as the Grinch. She likes to avoid him as much as possible but unfortunately for her, she has to accompany Nick on a business trip. She prepares herself for all the grumpiness she is sure he’ll bring along but what she can’t prepare for is the very un-grinch like Nick who comes with her.
We get a fantastic little treat with this sweet, sexy, enemies-to-lovers romance. This book is so much fun and it easily put me in the holiday spirit. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face with all the love Holly gives to Christmas, and it’s hilarious that Nick doesn’t seem to share her enthusiasm yet he runs a toy store!
“Oh, the irony. A mean-tempered, childless man at the helm of the very toys that result in endless smiles and laughter and shrieks of joy amongst the tiny humans.”
Holly is in for a treat when she goes on the business trip because she gets a whole new side to Nick. He isn’t at all what she thought, and they have a surprising connection once they let preconceived notions fade away. The banter is hilarious and they are feisty, flirty, and fun together. There is also an intense attraction that they can’t deny, and when they are thrown together for days at a time, the pent up sexual tension reaches its limit. They combust and it’s sensual, erotic, and steamy, and we also get some sweet and swoony moments that will make your heart skip a beat.
I thoroughly enjoyed The Boss Who Stole Christmas and I am excited for the rest of the Reindeer Falls series because Holly’s sisters, Ginger and Noel, were a hoot. I loved their dynamics and teasing because made their relationships feel real. I can’t wait for theirs stories this holiday season!
Super cute Christmas romcom. Jana Aston has done it again with this story, making me snort laugh more then once. This is the first of a series of novellas and I cannot wait gor the next one!
Fast, fun, STEAMY read!!
This book so put me in the holiday spirit! Holly Winter LOVES Christmas. She lives in the town of Reindeer Falls, which makes the holiday a year round experience. She also hates…but maybe not so much…her new boss, Nick. She thinks of him as the Grinch. Scrooge.
LOVED this book!! Nick and Holly are steamy!! And cute!! And we meet her sisters, whose stories we’ll be reading next.
Who knew an advent calendar could be so naughty? Probably everyone, but me. lol.
Jana has given the opening story in a fantastic holiday series!! Full of her signature down and dirty naughty fun and humor.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review
I love, love, LOVE this book!!! It’s short and sweet and sexy and just perfect amount to get you in the Christmas spirit!!! Holly and Nick are perfection. I just loved everything about this book.
Seductive, fast passed and entertaining, The Boss Who Stole Christmas left me a swooning mess.
Jana Aston has succeeded in delivering one of the most addictive Christmas reads I’ve come across in a long while.
Holly Winter is probably the biggest Christmas fanatic you’ll ever meet, so it seems only fitting that she works for a toy company in her home town, Reindeer Falls.
With everything in full swing leading up to Christmas, Holly’s new boss has created an internal war inside her head and possibly her heart. To wish for a new, non Grinch, boss isn’t too much to ask – is it, even if said new boss is a package of pure male goodness?
I absolutely laughed my butt off at how naïve Holly could be, and with her insane obsession with the holidays. She is certainly a delight to read.
Nick on the other hand, YUM!! Oh My Gosh, what a sizzling book.
I’m excitedly awaiting the next instalments of the Reindeer Falls collection.
I highly recommend this.
That was a really fun read! Jana has always been a master at writing a fun, comical romance, and this is no exception. Not as comical as some of her other books, she delivers just the right amount of funny with the sexy. I really adored Holly, and Nick was so swoony!
I loved tagging along for the ride to Germany, and the way Jana detailed so much of the sights and sounds and scenery, I have now added a trip to Nuremburg to my bucket list! During the winter so I can go to the Christmas markets!
It was a treat to meet her two sisters, and I am super excited to read about Ginger next and then Noel. I kind of wish Reindeer Falls was a real town, I bet it would be a blast to visit!
If the sleigh bells are rockin, don’t come a knockin!
All I want for Christmas is Nick St. Croix! Seriously, I’ve been good! Ahem, ok…nice, I’ve been nice. Oh alright, fine. I’m good at being bad. But being at the top of the naughty list can’t be all that bad, right? If only we could be so lucky. This book was just what I needed to start the season off right. Now, to dig out my Advent calendar. Which by the way, I will never look at the same again! Thank you Jana Aston for giving me some good o’l holiday cheer! I’m looking forward to Ginger’s story next!!!

Oh my goodness this book was so cute! This story was all of the best things about a Christmas movie, plus all the fun characters that Jana Aston creates. Holly works at a toy company in a small Midwest town. She loves her family, her town and her dream job. Holly does not like her Grinch of a boss Nick.
Reading about the romance between Holly and Nick made me feel warm and happy and full of love. It made me wish for a Nick of my very own!
The characters are fun and full of life. The moments of hilarious awkwardness is part of what I love about Jana Aston books. The story is so engaging that I finished the book in one sitting. I cannot wait to read the next book! Highly recommended!!
I was given an Advanced Reading Copy of this book and I am freely posting my honest review.
5 Sexy Holiday Stars!
I love Christmas and this book had everything that I could want in a cute, sexy and playful holiday story. Nick and Holly were great characters and they were written so well that I couldn’t help but want to know more about them. I could not put this book down because I enjoyed it so much!
Adorable and full of cheer
The Grinch in this book has not just her heart but he can have my Advent calendar too. Lol. I like the Countdown initiated by her sisters and respectful request my own advent calendar. I just don’t think they should be sold at the Teddy Bear Cafe.
Sexy, sweet, and full of holiday happiness The Boss Who Stole Christmas is a great way to jump start the holiday season or cling to it with every ounce of strength in your greedy little hands.
5 laugh out loud stars for this quick holiday themed read. I really enjoyed the storyline and I laughed the whole way through. Can’t wait for the next 2 books!
Absolutely loved this little story! I’m all for Christmas time and everything that comes with it. Reading the descriptions and festivities of these little towns was wonderful. Nick and Holly have sort of an enemies to lovers and workplace romance. He’s her boss and she thinks of him more as the Grinch. Things change after a little trip to Germany for work. Loved these two snd didn’t want them to end. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
