Dear Santa,Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it? Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as-Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please. Sincerely,Holly WinterWarning: Reindeer Falls is more naughty than nice. They’re …
Reindeer Falls is more naughty than nice. They’re over-the-top Christmas with merrily-ever-afters guaranteed. These stories are novella length for quick holiday binging. Enjoy!

I was smiling the whole time I read this book. The setting of Reindeer Falls is so whimsical.
Jana writes with such humor that I was literally laughing out loud at some points.
I love that all her comparisons were Christmas-themed. This is a very fun holiday read!
The Boss who stole Christmas
4.5 Stars for The Boss Who Stole Christmas by Jana Aston. This is book 1 in The Reindeer Falls. Holly hates her boss Nick. She thinks he is the Grinch. These two have such great chemistry. I love Holly’s character and her inner monologue. She will have you laughing so hard it will bring tears to your eyes. Nick will make you soon. I loved these characters, the story, the chemistry, everything really. I want to go to Reindeer Falls.

You guys, this book had me dying laughing! I mean all of her excuses to try to get out of going out of town with her boss? Including her made up boyfriend, Santana. And then, oh my gosh, Holly’s advent calendar! Not countdown to dick-mas as her sisters called it, but soon she was calling it. Plus the little snippet about if there was room at the Vagina Inn? I was laughing so hard! I have to say before I go any further, this was my favorite of all the stories, and I was a little disappointed we didn’t get as much with Holly in the other two stories, although it makes sense since they were all taking place pretty much over the same few weeks, and Holly was in Nuremberg with Nick for a week of that time.
This book had me laughing so hard. Holly is quite the handful, I don’t think Nick really knew what he was getting into….but he finds out pretty quickly. He’s her boss and has a business trip planned for them, naturally Holly gives every excuse to get out of going, and yet she still has to go. They share a great night together, but like I said Holly is a handful…so she kind of is awkward the next day, maybe even ruined the wonderful night. Poor Nick, luckily she realizes her mistake and does a great job of groveling.
This was a safe read. No om or ow shenanigans. This was such a funny book, had me laughing out loud. Her and her sisters, Ginger and Noel…Winter, is their last name and they live in Reindeer Falls….love it. Their night together was very steamy. There was no epilogue, just an hea. So…I guess they got back and stayed together *fingers crossed*.
This is a cute novella with some very funny moments and some funnier turns of phrase. These two have tried to hide their lust for each other through growls and hateful thoughts (some of these are really, really funny.) Only when they admit their true feelings can they get their happily ever after.
Reindeer Falls, Michigan is the setting for the story and the Reindeer Falls Toy factory, but part of the story also takes place in Nuremberg, Germany. Descriptions of the German Holiday Market are perfection and soooo romantic. This story has one of the most romantic first kisses ever and does offer some heated details on the night they spend together. I really enjoyed this author’s writing style and I will be looking for more of her books to add to my TBR.
What a cute, funny read!
This is a new-to-me author read and I think I need to invest in a full novel after reading this one. But that will be AFTER this little visit at Reindeer Falls, which clearly is a fun place to live.
Through Holly’s eyes, her boss Nick, is the Grinch. Or Scrooge. Actually, someone who just isn’t as in love with Christmas as she is. He annoys her, although he’s hot and she has wicked thoughts of how to use his grumpiness in other ways. Yeah, she’ll end up on the permanent naughty list.
I seriously loved and devoured this book. I love the characters and I really cannot wait to see what’s in store for the other Winter sisters. This was a perfect, sexy holiday read. A must read!
Wow, the start of the Reindeer Falls series and this packs a bit of a punch for a novella. Giving us some really funny, quirky moments as well as a dose of drama and the naughty bit and chemistry was smoking. Jana Aston made me home sick with this novella, she painted such an amazing picture that I could smell the Christmas market. I give this 5 stars.
This is a great quick read to put a contemporary romance fan into the holiday spirit. I loved how unrelenting Holly was about her Christmas spirit and how much of Nick’s Grinchyness was in her head. Pretty flawless!
Jana Aston is back to her dirty, flirty best with The Boss Who Stole Christmas.
I am still fanning myself from the heat the Holly and Nick created. I liked that they didn’t just fall into bed on page one, that they fought their feelings for each other until the air around them was combustible.
Their banter had me giggling as I read (who am I? I don’t giggle!) and I just needed them to get together.
Even though this is a novella, there was enough growth of the characters to make it feel like a much longer book.
There is also great set up for Holly’s sister Ginger’s books, which I can’t wait to dive into.
4 Cranky Stars
Jana Aston delivers us snarky sexy Christmas fun with this book. The Boss Who Stole Christmas is about Holly Winter and Nick Saint Croix a quirky girl who loves the holidays and her boss she assumes is a Grinch that owns a toy company and no not that kind of toy company pervs. Owen pushes her buttons in so many ways but mainly she wants to strangle him not have sexy times with him. She is heading a very important toy campaign and Owen tells her she must accompany him on a business trip to Germany to learn about the origin of the bear they are selling. Owen has always had an eye for Holly but never knew how to tell her. He puts up with her constant muttering under her breath if it means she’s thinking about him too. When the perfect opportunity to get some alone time will Owen finally make his move, and will it be reciprocated. In the magical time of year in a magical town in Germany under thousands of twinkling Christmas lights Owen and Holly finally face their future.
Ok first Jana Aston is my punny hero! I didn’t know we could make Christmas sound so kinky with everyday holiday sayings like she did. I was laughing and fanning myself at the same time. I’m glad Holly had room at the Inn for Owen. Just read the book you’ll understand. These novellas are perfect for a fun sexy holiday read! Maybe they’ll get you in the spirit of giving and receiving wink wink.
Such a fun Christmas read and should be a must read for Christmas rom-com fans. Or anyone that loves books by Jana Aston-like me. This one featured a small town in Michigan that is fashioned after an old German town. It’s a town that takes Christmas very seriously. Since I have been to a town in Michigan(Frankenmuth)that closely fits this description, it was extra fun for me.
As with any Aston work, the characters were fun, the heroine in this one in particular. Holly(middle name Mistletoe)is all about Christmas and her job at the local toy factory. Her boss is Nick, newly returned from living in Germany, to take the helm of his family company. They are like oil and water together. She thinks he’s cranky, he thinks she’s going to be his-if he can ever get her to stop hating him.
This is truly a Christmas read. So many author’s set books at that time of year and it’s secondary to the plot. Not so with this one because Holly makes Christmas her priority all year long-or close enough. I’m looking forward to reading the next book that features Holly’s sister Ginger. Keep in mind it’s a novella and for a change that didn’t bother me a bit. Recommended to adult romance readers that like a lighthearted read.
I have no words I tell you, NO fricking words how much I liked this story. Everything about it was on point; from the way they bickered to the way they confessed their feelings.
It was just that PERFECT

Quick and fun holiday read! Great series of books.
I would rate this one 4.5. It was a fun Christmas book. I liked the character names, I liked the premise, and it was funny. The whole series was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved this short holiday novella. Nick is my favorite- the silent type who’s always wanted the girl. As with all novellas I always wish there was more because this is a great couple. Definitely my favorite of the series.

Fun Christmas novella. Like love-hate relationships? That’s what you’ll find here as Nick Saint-Croix and Holly Winters navigate their boss-employee relationship. The sexual awareness is there from the start and drives them both crazy. Follow them from Reindeer Falls to Nuremberg, Germany on a business trip as they let go of the “hate” to find the love in the most unforgettable Holiday atmosphere.
This is such an enjoyable Christmas story. It really lightens the mood and puts a smile on my face. I enjoyed all the Christmas themes and wording. Some made me really laugh. I wasn’t too much of a fan of the ending. It seemed abrupt.
This is my first book by this author. It was short sweet and enjoyable. I highly recommend to anyone who wants their spirit lightened for a few hours.
I was given this ARC as an honest read for an honest review. Jana has dreamed up another angst type read that sweeps you away. I started reading about Holly and Nick. Nick took over The Reindeer Falls Toy Company from his uncle. He’s always giving Holly these looks, but everything changes when Holly must take a business trip with Nick to Germany. Nick and Holly heat up the pages of this book with there banter and looks. I couldn’t put this book down. I kept smiling and picturing this story unfolding in my mind. Read this to find out if it’s a one night fling or can these two find love at Christmas.
The Boss Whole Stole Christmas is a super fun and quirky holiday novella. It delivers with a sexy hot and romantic story.
“He’s a misanthropic, mean-tempered jerk with a piece of coal where his heart should be.”
I loved listening to this story on audiobook while doing all of my housework. It was the perfect way to make the time go by and the work seem so much easier!
-4 Stars!-
Cute, fun and sexy Christmas time story. Holly is trying so hard not to be attracted to Nick, her grinchy boss. But things get interesting when Nick forces her on a business trip. Throw in some very unique advent calendars (my favorite) and you get another winning novella from Ms. Aston.
