Nina Redmond is a librarian with a gift for finding the perfect book for her readers. But can she write her own happy-ever-after? In this valentine to readers, librarians, and book-lovers the world over, the New York Times-bestselling author of Little Beach Street Bakery returns with a funny, moving new novel for fans of Nina George’s The Little Paris Bookshop. Nina is a literary matchmaker. … Bookshop.
Nina is a literary matchmaker. Pairing a reader with that perfect book is her passion… and also her job. Or at least it was. Until yesterday, she was a librarian in the hectic city. But now the job she loved is no more.
Determined to make a new life for herself, Nina moves to a sleepy village many miles away. There she buys a van and transforms it into a bookmobile — a mobile bookshop that she drives from neighborhood to neighborhood, changing one life after another with the power of storytelling.
From helping her grumpy landlord deliver a lamb, to sharing picnics with a charming train conductor who serenades her with poetry, Nina discovers there’s plenty of adventure, magic, and soul in a place that’s beginning to feel like home… a place where she just might be able to write her own happy ending.

This was one of those “please-don’t-end “ books. But it DID end. So I bought several more Jenny Colgan books and have been happily immersed!
I loved this book. I purchased a physical book to add to my library. This book made me want to read more of the books this author has written. I listened to the book and the reader was fantastic.
Very enjoyable read. It was like a warm hug or meeting a dear friend for tea.
Loved reading about Scotland from a positive perceptive. Modern yet traces of nostalgia. Loved the story.
I thought the beginning was a bit unusual, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole story. Nice atmosphere, unusual characters, original. I am recommending it to friends.
Really loved this book and recommended it fellow booklovers.
This is a perfect book to read when your life is in need of an adventure!
A slow moving and relaxing read.
Loved the twists and turns of the plot. This was the first book by the author I had read.
Interesting
Absolutely delightful! Nina’s library is downsizing. She’s losing her job as well as her life’s work of matching people to book they love. She’s young and unmarried but what can she do now? Filled with hope and honesty she tries to move forward.
Perfect book for anyone who loves to read…and anyone (like me) who dreams of owning a book store. What I wouldn’t give to run around Scotland in a van selling people books!!
Inspiring and wonderful. Made me want my own book shop.
Loved everything about it!
I really enjoyed this book. Even the preface was a testimonial to theAvid reader. Fun
Enjoyed the characters and all the wonderful books the mention
ENJOYABLE TO READ.
It was different from books I usually read. A young woman leaves the comfort of her home in England, moves to Scotland and buys an old van. She fills it with books and travels to remote towns as a library.
The characters are all people you can’t help liking. I adore the setting. It a story that oozes romance of the non predictable kind. It’s a definite curl up on the sofa read, you can totally lose yourself in. Highly recommended.
Was a good read.
