During the week Simon Seymore is a good little bookmobile librarian. He lives and breathes his job providing library access to the rural towns south of Grayson City. But every weekend he heads to the bar in search of another alpha to go home with. If he preps himself beforehand, they never have to know his secret: Simon can’t slick.Omegas who can’t slick can’t have children either, and alphas … alphas aren’t accepting of that. At twenty seven, Simon’s learned that relationships simply aren’t worth the risk. It’s better to focus on his job, and stop dreaming about the mate he’s never going to have.
Art Hitchens buried the love of his life five years ago. At forty five, he has no intention of chasing after omegas ever again. But when a bookmobile librarian shows up in his hometown and gives him a wild proposition, Art feels alive for the first time in years.
Simon may be too young for Art and slow to trust after being rejected so many times, but Art feels a need to take care of Simon that’s impossible to ignore.
The Bookmobile Baby is a 48,000-word May/December romance with knotting, MPreg, BDSM, and a nurturing Dom. It’s the second book in the Nerds Who Knot series, but it stands alone.

Such a sweet and adorable book. I love all the representation in this book. Both characters were enjoyable and the story is well written. This has it all, daddy kink, mpreg, one night stand and book nerds.
You will Love this book! Amy has done it again. I couldn’t put it down. Her “Nerds Who Knot” series is a Grade A success! This book has it all. Old friends, new relationships, new problems and plenty of sex.
Amy has created a unique world. She addresses topics not usually explored in the omegaverse. Infertile omegas who can’t slick. Trans alphas and omegas, & trans kids trying to find their way. These are explored openly and beautifully.
She also plugs Simon’s passion: the lack of availability of books in small towns; the effect access to books has on a child’s life.
You will be pulled in to this world. The characters are so vibrant and full of life it fells like you already know them. You will cheer them on, berate them for being idiots, love their patience, loyalty, misplaced self-sacrifice, and passion.
Now that I have you hooked: this is Simon and Art’s story. Simon drives the Bookmobile, visiting small towns not on his route, so kids can have access to books. He likes older men, preferably with beards. Art is an older, lumberjack, complete with beard – and glasses! Art isn’t turned off by Simon’s inability to slick. He wants a relationship with Simon.
Enter Isaac, from “The Accidental Everything”. Isaac is Simon’s best friend. But his ideas to help Simon are as off the wall as Isaac himself.
The sex is hot and heavy, tender and loving. It has the best nesting/heat scene ever! There is humor, angst, understanding, and redemption. And of course, HEA. You will Love it!
This is the second book in the “Nerds Who Knot” series. Although it stands alone, I recommend reading “The Accidental Everything”.
This book contains steamy MM sex and Mature themes. It is recommended for mature, 18+ readers.
I read this book in Kindle Unlimited when it first came out even though I hadn’t read Book 1 in the series. Listening to it straight after listening toThe Accidental Everything has made this book seem even better. Revisiting with Isaac and Rhett, and getting to know Isaac’s friend Simon, has been amazing.
Simon is such a sweet character who has an underlying sadness because he doesn’t think he can have the children he so desperately wants. Art isn’t in any way a typical Alpha and is therefore very accepting of Simon. Not that there aren’t plenty of problems on the way to a HEA.
This book is longer than the last, so the storyline is more detailed. I love the descriptions such as Simon’s interactions with children who visit the library and the children’s books that he collects. Art’s relationship with his deceased husband Dean and the intricacies of their bonding are other examples. I ended up having to buy my own copy of the book!
The narration by Barney Parkwynne is, once again, very good. The pace is just right and I love how smooth his voice is. He captures Simon and Art beautifully.

Heartwarming, inclusive, Mpreg story that will touch your heart!!
I loved this story! I’m still new to Mpreg but this story has so much heart, emotion, love and a bit of humor that I couldn’t help falling in love! Simon is wonderful; he’s passionate, caring and a little broken, while Art is grieving, strong and has a big heart ready to give away again! Simon and Art are perfect together!! I loved the inclusivity in this story: trans Alphas and Omegas! Such a great concept and was done with so much love and care you can tell it’s from the heart!
The story follows widower Art as grapples with his lust for Simon, the towns bookmobile driver. Simon thinks he can’t have kids and has tried to come to terms with that as best he can. Art doesn’t think he could ever feel alive again after losing his husband, Dean who happened to be trans omega until he connects with Simon! I loved Amy’s approach and the inclusion of trans characters in this story and the dynamics of their lives in the omegaverse was brilliant. I found this whole story touchingly beautiful and felt all the emotions as these characters come together and began to heal each other. This was like nothing I’ve ever read before and I loved everything about it! It took me so long to write up a review because I feel like my words can’t do it justice and it’s still holding a special place in my heart. I praise Amy and her creation and I am so thankful she decided to create these wonderful characters that have touched my heart!!
I can’t recommend this story, series or author enough and the narration is fantastic. I loved that I could listen to Art and Simon come to life and fall in love again so perfectly! I loved it!!!

The Bookmobile Baby by Amy Bellows is the second book in the Nerds Who Knot series and is a non-shifter mpreg story with a sexy taste of daddy kink. We get treated to an age gap story, finding love again after loss, fertility issues and secondary characters dealing with the realities of being trans. Its beautiful story that gives you the feels, delivers a little drama, adds a bit of fun and provides the sweet and the heat. I absolutely loved Simon and Art. The are sweet together but also sexy. Loved their story.

The Bookmobile Baby is age gap, lite D/s and Daddy/boy kink story set in Omegaverse. I laughed, got hot and bothered and even shed few tears listening/reading this story.
It tells the tale of Simon a 27 year old Omega, who wants 3 things in life ; bring books to children and adults who don’t have access to them, a baby of his own and a mate. Yet, to get that , he has to overcome few small and big obstacles.
And , Art , a 45 year old , rugged, bearded, ginger Alpha , who for the 1st time in 5 years , feels a sexual attraction since the death of his beloved mate.
The Bookmobile Baby is an entertaining story. I loved the snarky, witty , hilarious banter and inner thoughts. The low angst , the adult and common sense approach to conflict resolution between the characters , the overall happiness and hopeful feel of the book.
The Bookmobile Baby is book two in the interconnected, Nerds Who Knots series. Books can be read as standalones but you’ll enjoy it more by reading them in the chronological order they were published.
This was a cute, easy, quick read. While it was short, the story was complete and satisfying with a happily ever after. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
