BISHOPI’m not the good guy in this story.Technically, I’m the bad one.Because men who kidnap their wives aren’t exactly ushered to the front gates of Heaven. And the fact that she doesn’t even remember me? Well, that just ensures my one-way ticket to Hell.My one saving grace: I’ll do anything to make sure my wife Dani is safe after the attack that left her without a memory.I’ll lie. I’ll steal. … that left her without a memory.
I’ll lie. I’ll steal. I’ll kill.
In fact, I’ll have to.
Because bad guys aren’t supposed to get happy endings.
And if I don’t save my precious Dani from this next attack, neither will she…
AUTHOR’S NOTE: The Bodyguard is a steamy suspenseful romance and is part of a series of full-length novels in the Gafanelli Mob series. It contains foul-mouthed characters, lots of twists and plenty of heat. If any of these doesn’t sound like your type of story, please do not read.

Great story with an intensity that is a wonderful distraction from “reality”. I enjoyed the characters and passion for one another.
The first few chapters were a bit confusing but, please, give it time because it becomes a tightly woven plot of intrigue and seduction that slowly unravels. There are more twists and turns than a road through the French Alps, never knowing what’s around the next corner! A very entertaining read!
quick read liked the characters and the way they interacted
couldn’t put it down had to finish in one night
Dani was written well as a strong, motivated woman in a difficult predicament. Her hubby did what he had to do and handled her memory loss the best he could. I must admit to a few surprises near the end. Thanks
Didn’t flow well. Characters were just not likeable.
Boring – to much talk and not enough action. Talk and thoughts would have been OK if they would have built suspense or tension. They did not.
Super hot
I enjoyed this book and the author had me guessing until the very last page.
This book was more of a Mystery than a Romance. It was okay, but ended strangely.
Short review. I struggle a little bit at the beginning because it was confusing but once the book found it’s rhythm I really enjoyed it. There are many twist and turns throughout the book that will make you unsure of who to really trust.
Too predictable
I found this book to be confusing and extremely difficult to follow. Things that were apparently in the writers head never seemed to translate to the page. I found myself reading and then re-reading entire sections trying to figure out where it fit in the plot, why the character was doing what they were doing. Felt the idea was good but just did not move from the authors thoughts to the page
Too much cussing for me
The storyline was ok with some twists to it, but for me the language used was offensive, distracting and unnecessary. Using the f*** word as noun, adverb, verb, adjective detracted from the story and showed a lack of vocabulary on the writer’s part.
I didn’t finish this book. It was just nasty. I felt no connection with any of the characters and the wording in the book was just x-rated. It’s not often I don’t finish a book, but I’m getting better at managing my time and not spending it on a book I am not enjoying.
Ok
Too confusing. Difficulty following the characters. Crumby ending
Boring. I found this book extremely boring and typical. Did not finish the book and deleted from library
Great book loved it!
It was different and enjoyable!
