Packed with action and suspense, this fast-paced adventure novel follows Kiko and several other characters around the world in search of a secret in the heart of Siberia, where Kiko’s ingenuity is pitched against the might of the KGB and the Black Hats, a mysterious monastic order.
The Blue Heart Mission: A Kiko Ochisan Adventure Thriller (The Kiko Ochisan Adventure Series Book 3) By Lina Vine is by far the longest story in the series and for good reason. There is so much happening in this book. You have the KGB and a mysterious organization Black Hats working in the background, new characters are introduced and there is a mystery to be solved. With so much happening the author is still able to keep to the authenticity of the Japanese culture that has been consistent with through the series. I was definitely excited to see this one was longer. It was paced nicely and well written. This book kept me on my toes throughout and it is definitely worth a four star review.

This is the third book in this series and I have really found myself captivated by it. I really like the authors engaging writing style and love reading about what Kiko gets up to. I always know that whatever I think it going to happen is usually wrong – the author puts some great twists and turns into the story that kept me engaged as a reader. I still really like Kiko, I think she is such a strong character and her determination is definitely to be admired. The author’s attention to detail is also really good and that definitely helped with me being able to imagine what was going on in the story. With danger at the turn of every page I would absolutely recommend this book and series! I have really enjoyed it!

The story The Blue Heart Mission: A Kiko Ochisan Adventure Thriller (The Kiko Ochisan Adventure Series Book 3) by Lina Vine is a wonderful book that includes adventure, mystery, and suspense. It is a story that at times had me on the edge of my seat and wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about Kiko and her character’s journey in this story. She is a woman of many talents and uses them to succeed in anything that she does. There are also many other characters that you are introduced to and follow. I enjoyed reading about the part that they play in the story and also of how they interact with each other and Kiko. The KGB are there behind the scenes and also a group called Black Hats. What is the agenda of these groups and will it succeed? This is a story that pays attention to detail and I felt that I was right there with the characters every move that they made. The danger to the characters only increases as the story progresses and had me wondering who would be left standing. At times I felt that I was putting together clues just like a puzzle in order to get the whole picture. This is a well-written, page-turning book that once I started I didn’t want to put down until I had finished. My love for this series has only grown with each book that I read. I am hoping for another book in the series.
This is the third book in this series. I enjoyed each one but this one is my favorite. I couldn’t wait to see what Kiko got herself into this time. Her journey is full of action and suspense. I enjoy her character as she is strong and determined. She makes you feel as if you are right there with her. The secondary characters are also help make this story flow. They took me on some twists and turns that left me wanting to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book.
