Elin Hilderbrand, author of the enchanting Summer People and The Beach Club, invites you to experience the perfect getaway with her sparkling new novel. Adrienne Dealey has spent the past six years working for hotels in exotic resort towns. This summer she has decided to make Nantucket home. Left flat broke by her ex-boyfriend, she is desperate to earn some fast money. When the desirable Thatcher … When the desirable Thatcher Smith, owner of Nantucket’s hottest restaurant, is the only one to offer her a job, she wonders if she can get by with no restaurant experience. Thatcher gives Adrienne a crash course in the business…and they share an instant attraction. But there is a mystery about their situation: what is it about Fiona, the Blue Bistro’s chef, that captures Thatcher’s attention again and again? And why does such a successful restaurant seem to be in its final season before closing its doors for good? Despite her uncertainty, Adrienne must decide whether to open her heart for the first time, or move on, as she always does.
Infused with intimate Nantucket detail and filled with the warmth of passion and the breeze of doubt, The Blue Bistro is perfect summer reading.

Great book! Per her usual writings.
I found this book sloooooooow!
Great book, a little sad, for me, but characters are well developed and interesting.
I was out of breath from one page to the next. Hard to put down. Loved this book…every minute of it!
Not your typical romance, a bit more realistic. Adrienne lands a restaurant job in a seaside tourist town. The restaurant is very popular and open only a few months a year.
Adrienne begins a relationship with Thatcher, one of the owners of the restaurant. Fee, the other owner is a famous but reclusive chef. Thatcher and Fee have had a …
Loved getting to know the characters, I was sad when it ended, I would love a sequel!
my favorite of Elin’s so far!
I love all of Hilderbrands books. She can weave a tale like no one else. All her books are hard to put down.
Always a great ready by Hilenbrand
Great read! Loved the setting and the characters, hard to put down. I have lent this book to many friends and they all enjoyed it as well!
One of my favorite books by Elin Hilderbrand, its a step above a “beach read”. It has depth, wonderful characters and a great story. A must read!
A great summer read! My first book by this author. Now on my second! I love her characters!
The author did not invoke any sense of location other than dropping names of restaurants and stores. The setting could have been any stretch of sand. Her characters were empty and ridiculous. An alcoholic pushing another to drink? The whole story was silly to the extreme. My first and last book by this author
