Secrets and lies, murder and mayhem, and a little bit of love… herself in England. As Ashlyn Hale, she meets Luke, a handsome local who makes her realise just how lonely she is.
Yet, even in the sleepy village of Lower Foxford, the dark side of life dogs Diamond’s trail when the unthinkable strikes. Forced out of hiding, she races against time to save those she cares about.
With her husband’s killer still on the loose and her life in England a disaster, Diamond returns to the only thing she knows: work. As the star of Blackwood Security takes on enemies from the States to Syria, she finds the toughest battle is the one going on in her own head.
Her training has equipped her to handle the most dangerous situations, but controlling her own emotions isn’t so easy. All she wants is justice, but can she repair her broken heart as well?
Do you want sexy heroes and kick-ass heroines? Then grab The Black Trilogy and start reading today!
Warning: Diamond isn’t polite. She’s got a filthy mouth to go with her dirty mind, and she doesn’t hold back. If you like your books a little milder, you may prefer the cleaned-up version of The Black Trilogy (no on-the-page sex and no swearing) available through my author page.

I loved the intriguing story. Action packed and was witty with a lot of great story line
One of the best books I’ve read in awhile. I liked it so well that I bought the next two books in the series. They were also very good. I will continue with the series.
I picked this up, because I had nothing else that I wanted to read. I’m glad I did, it was well written, fast paced, surprisingly funny, and the romance was sweet. I have since bought the rest of this series and was not disappointed.
The Black Trilogy is an incredible set of books. Meet Emmy and Black and the other main characters at Blackwood security. I love these books and to have them all together is an absolute joy. Great characters, original storylines, action, adventure and romance together with the fabulous touches of humour make this a trilogy not to be missed. I read each of these books individually and each thoroughly deserves its 5* rating. Elise Noble is a wonderful author and The Black Trilogy is outstanding. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
A fun adventure with a cast of intriguing characters
If you don’t have all three books, it won’t work.
One of my new favorite books! This author writes a wonderful tale. There were moments of laugh out loud dialogue, great characters, and plot surprises. A wonderful read. I will be reading more of her books.
Couldn’t put it down
I loved this book! I read the clean version and enjoyed every minute of it. The author does a great job of writing an exciting and engaging storyline that shows she takes the time to research her topics.
Love, love, love this series to the point I even pre-order them. The characters are wonderful and yes, it’s over the top at times, but then I read to escape reality, not to embrace it. Wish all security guards were like the boys in these books, I might be tempted to break the law.
Big fan of Elise Noble. Using humor to develop her characters and plot but don’t be deceived her trilogy contains mystery and is actioned packed.
I absolutely loved the Black Trilogy Box set. It’s packed with unique and inter sting characters and suspense. I couldn’t stop reading it. It was my first experience with the author and look forward to reading other books.
One of the best I’ve read in quite awhile. I immensely enjoyed getting to know these characters, I loved the action, the romance, the sex, and the twists. Look forward to more by this author.
Love this book and this series. Great read, suspenseful and not predictable.
Although I like these books 1-3 you need to read then together they are not stand alone books
I started off liking this trilogy, but I got restless in the 1st book and started to skip around, especially when I found out the love the first finds after her husbands isn’t a lasting one,it couldn’t be I guess she was grieving too badly to be her true self.. ok fine.. but to then had said love not only move on but move on w/one of her friends and we then get this guy’s pov as he falls for someone new, well that really turned me off…. if we’re gonna watch her love find someone new it shouldn’t be before she does.. it turned me off big time.. I didn’t care in the slightest …
he’s found new/true love while she’s still out there bouncing around hurting ?
seriously ? No, just no…his story for finding new love could have waited til she finds hers…..
and she doesn’t get that til at least 1/2 way thru the third book and even then we aren’t sure the love she’s “re found” is hers or not at 1st….
this didn’t really feel like a romance to me til she knew her man was really hers and then i loved it…. Sadly I wish the whole last book could have been that not just the last 1/2… Diamond and her man have a chemistry that leaps off the page to you and I would have love the trilogy if it all had just been their adventures sadly it wasn’t.. just glad I got it only special for .99 cents…
but I’ll always love this line…. *cant give anything away but* “His hand squeaked over my arse as he pulled me closer. “Don’t worry,Catwoman. I’ll free your pussy.”
lol, that line get me every time 😉
Not for me. I like a strong heroine but she was just annoyed me. Had to stop reading.
Loved the trilogy
The Blackwood trilogy is pure excitement and terrific twists, with laugh-out-loud funny, fabulous characters ~ yet another bunch with whom I’d love to meet for drinks or dinner ~ can I visit Riverley or Little Riverley? Please?? I hope Elise Noble NEVER stops writing about Emmy & Black!
I LOVED THE ENTIRE SERIES CANNOT WAIT FOR THE GIRL WITH THE EMERALD RING
