All five Black Stiletto books in one stunning sagaThis USA Today and New York Times best-selling five-book saga tells the entire amazing story of Judy Cooper, the famed Black Stiletto of vigilante fame. The story is told by Martin Talbot, the Stiletto’s son, in the words of the Stiletto herself through her diaries. Martin does not discover these diaries until his mother, suffering from Alzheimer … his mother, suffering from Alzheimer Disease, is confined to a nursing home. Imagine his utter shock when he realizes that his mother’s diaries—and other revealing discoveries—bring the Black Stiletto’s—his mother’s—past into the present.

From New York to Los Angeles to Texas, Judy—the Stiletto—is a hero to the public, but a hunted enemy of law enforcement and criminals, including the Mafia. As she relentlessly fights for justice, her life is in constant danger. And that danger returns to the present to threaten Martin, his daughter, and Judy, herself.
The Black Stiletto Saga covers the entire story. The old Judy, the young Judy, and the Black Stiletto. All five books in one package: The Black Stiletto, The Black Stiletto: Black & White, The Black Stiletto: Stars & Stripes, The Black Stiletto: Secrets & Lies, and The Black Stiletto: Endings & Beginnings.

I loved this series told by several people, The Black Stiletto herself, her son many years later and serveral other people. She was a vigilante with amazing skills. She gets herself into trouble on a number of occasions but comes out okay.
The first female superhero as told to her son via her diaries as she withers away with a debilitating disease. Thoroughly engaging.
This was a really good book with a very inventive story line. I highly rate it.
Great read!
Couldn’t put down and now my husband is reading it. Writer is excellent and I enjoyed thinking back to the years in the diaries and what I was doing during those years.
Original plot, shows children don’t really know their parents
Loved these books.
The Black Stiletto is an interesting and realistic character. I started to wonder if she really had lived. I had to ask my husband if there ever was a woman like that. I kind of hope she was real!
I’m in the middle of reading this set of books. Unfortunately I can hardly stand to put them down! I jump from one book and have to go straight on to the next!
Don’t bother to buy just the first book cause you’ll just have to go back and but the rest.
Cute
Quite enjoyable
different and engaging
Not quite finished yet but loving the series.
Placing the two story lines in parallel makes it easier to follow the story, the past informs the future. And you can’t help but crush on Judy.
The series is a good beach or vacation read on a Kindle. It is fairly formulaic and there is very little in the form of surprises as the author allows the reader to figure things out by the primary characters always dropping hints long before the final scene is played.
The characters also tend to get over any problems within a couple of pages, thus, it is hard to develop any likeability to any of the characters. The stories are funny at times, but after a point you want to hit the Blacks Stiletto with a 2×4 and tell her “get a life, you have been acting like this for a couple of years.” Her continued desire to get into situations becomes tiresome around the third diary.
Again, a good beach read because you can burn through the pages. Will you remember the books long after you have put hem down? No, but I feel the author never expected us to, either.
I really like this book.
But a vigilante in stilettos, pretty cheesy.
But Good Cheese!!!
Get and rad the whole series. I binged read them all.
The Black Stiletto is a legend. Seriously, in the world of this story, she was a real-life superhero(ine) back in the 1950s and 60s. Clad in a leather outfit, she protected citizens of New York from gangs and spies, using her martial arts skills and uncanny senses. Today, in 2017, her adult son learns the secret of his mother’s past.
The story is told through excerpts from the diary written by the 20-year-old crimefighter. It is interspersed with chapters in the modern world, as her son struggles with the knowledge that his mom — now in a nursing home suffering from Alzheimer’s — used to be a badass.
It’s a fun look into the life of a young woman in the New York of the 50’s and 60’s, who also happens to be a Batman-like crimefighter.
Series started well, but the LA based books dragged.
The series looked good but the print was tiny and couldn’t be adjusted. I deleted it after several minutes of trying to make it remain legible.
