As soon as I saw her, I knew I had to have her. I thought this Vegas fundraiser was going to be boring—another obligation to keep the family business alive. Boy, was I wrong. I don’t remember anything about the night we spent together. But now we’re married. Only problem is, I don’t believe in true love. And she doesn’t seem to, either. But this could work out for both of us. I need someone to … could work out for both of us.
I need someone to stop my traditional Greek family from nagging me about settling down, and she could use some cash for reasons she doesn’t care to disclose.
I know a good deal when I see one.
This is book 1 of a trilogy. You will have to purchase book 2 and 3 to finish the story.

I was thoroughly enjoying this book and was totally gutted when I got to the end
“to be continued“
The next book in the series was so few pages that it kind of annoyed me and didn’t buy it on principle, even though I really wanted to keep reading.
It was a divided into three separate books but should have been edited into a single tome. Character development was somewhat lacking. Gay story line of ancillary characters seemed inserted to check a box.
First, the cliffhanger was unexpected and a great impetus to read book 2.
So the “unexpected wedding” of Kristo and Amaya was fairly typical as were Kristo’s reasons for staying married for a year. What was strange was Amaya’s behavior near the end of the book. Not mysterious strange, but “what are you doing, girl?” strange.
Read the book to see what I’m talking about. Meanwhile, I’ll be up late reading book 2.
Good read but ended with a cliff hanger. Off to read book #2 to see what the ending will be.
This was not my favorite from this author. I liked the characters and overall plot. The book was not as well written as her previous works. I like Kristo and Amaya. I think the chemistry between them is fantastic. The dialogue and flow of the story was just not there.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.*
This is the story of what might happen if the wedding comes before the relationship, live or romance.
Really enjoyed the different approach to the genre within this book.
This was an exciting story by Ali Parker, a surprise marriage that neither character can remember, It was well written a bit long for me but well done. The characters are fun and intriguing. I enjoyed the story it was fun watching them on their journey, the family dynamics were very entertaining and interesting. They had an undeniable chemistry that you could feel coming off the pages. I recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This book starts with Amaya, a librarian, meets Kristo, a billionaire, at a Gala in Vegas, and then they wake up to find they are married, but they do not remember anything. This storyline, I have read many times before, but after this part, it becomes its own. The chemistry between them is way over the scale, but Kristo does not do love. Then enters Kristo’s large Greek family, and Amaya’s little sister that is confined to a wheelchair. What you end up with is a well written story that is a very fun read, with just the right amount of hotness and sweetness, all in a book that is hard to put down. I loved this book, so I highly recommend it.
MY HEART IS FULL!!!
Ah! What a twisted wen we weave. You get all the action, attraction and one hot night. Except for one tiny little blip. Sometime during their foray the end up married and clueslss. The characters are well developed and definitely independent. Their personalities are unique, intelligent and screw up. What else could possibly go wrong? Apparently a whole lot. But they nimble through as they seek to strive to accomplish certain goals. The scenes are off the top with an endless supply if mishaps on the go. Twists and turns abound limitless humor, happy faces and alot of heartache and fear. Ali is great a pulling us into her imagination and created a world around us until nothing else exists except what before your eyes. Incredible job Ali, thanks for sharing this awesome read with read with us.
I usually read every book by this author in one sitting, however with this one I struggled to keep myself focused on the story. Halfway through I started to lose interest in it, and I even read three other books in between before finishing this one. I don’t mind longer stories but this one really didn’t have anything special about it that would keep my interest all the way through, and could have been wrapped up sooner and still have the same point. I liked characters and they had a decent chemistry, but for me there was something missing that would make their story stand out and make more interesting.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Amaya is a librarian and Kristo a billionaire and CEO of his own company meet in Las Vegas at a gala. One thing leads to another and they soon find out that not only in bed but married. Kristo needs a wife so that his family will not continue to bother him about not being married. Amaya needs money to help her sister and other financial obligation she make a deal with Kristo to be his wife for a year. There are many twist and turns in this story but all ends well for everyone. Love conquers all in this story.
I voluntarily reviewed this ARC book for my honest review.
Amaya and Kristo see each other at the hotel pool in Vegas. Then they see each other again at the gala and leave together. They wake up and don’t remember anything but realize they got married. You go through the journey with them dealing with emotions, family, humor and so much more. The secondary characters add to the story. Amaya and Kristo have hot steamy chemistry and really get to know each other. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story. This is a well written story with strong characters and a happily ever after. I love reading these type of stories cause there is always a happy ending.
A great read was not unexpected on this one
Amaya, a librarian, meets Kristo, a billionaire CEO, at a gala in Las Vegas and the unexpected happens – they wind up married. As the story progresses the unexpected in the title is definitely well earned. Not only is the marriage unexpected, but a number of twisted and tangled things happen. Ali Parker knows how to weave drama, humor, and romance into a truly realistic tale that draws the reader in.
I absolutely loved this one. It was the ultimate fairytale with twist. We have Kristo and Amaya who love each other but he is fighting it because of his father and his lack of love. One thing leads to another and by the fates things worked out their way in the long run. I connected with this one so well that in a way I hope they appear in more stories later on. It’s has if the world is fighting for them but they can’t see what’s right in front of them. I give this book 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Not what I expected. Not at all. But that is in the most positive way. Vegas wedding stories are normally not my thing but this one surprised me. I liked it a lot. Well written short story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.
A passionate and emotional read with twists. Enjoyable and recommendable. It is fun, hot, passionate and has unexpected twists. I like their journey towards their HEA.
The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes it better of than without it.
There are passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.
A substantial read, however, Ms. Parker held this reader’s attention from start to finish. “Oh the web of lies we weave when we choose to deceive.” This is an apt saying for this novel as well as showcasing the ramifications of setting up a fake relationship not only on the two main players but for all who they encounter and are close to. Good characterizations. Good story line. Good read!
Thank you Ms. Parker for a number of hours of reading pleasure!
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation with this author.
This is a fast paced read with just the the right amount of humour to make this a delicious read by the top selling author, Ali Parker! I have to confess now that this is my favourite of her stories that I have read so far. bearing in mind that I’ve read every one of her stories that has been made available to read on ebook in the UK. Ali has created for us a fantastic storyline with Kristo and Amaya. He is from a Greek family which is very wealthy whilst Amaya has a disabled sister and mounting debts. They meet in Sin City at a gala, have way too much to drink, have a night of steamy passion and wake up together in bed and married to each other! Whew – can it get any better??? Well yes it can and it does! This is one book by Ali that you just can’t miss as it is just so good. It has passion, secrets, a Greek family, a night of lust, a unexpected wedding, secrets, love and such great chemistry between the hero and heroine. fans and a/c at the ready please or you’re going to melt! I’m really looking forward to the next story by Ali. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Another fabulous story – definitely recommended!
Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay there. And sometimes that is the best thing ever. I really liked, because of their agreement, the way their relationship formed and developed. It kinda made me wish it could be real and happen again me. Loved it
The book is wonderful and fantastic. It shows you a real look into a family that will stop at nothing to see the kids married. I loved the way that it really shows life in an extended family. You will laugh and cry in this book but it all works out in the end.
