I truly enjoy this series. The matchmaker puts a fun twist on finding love. It’s entertaining to see how each of the characters will respond to being set-up on a blind date. This first date was spent at a sing a long, with costumes, to Grease. It sounds like a fun night.
Once the two came fact to face, they realized they have known each other since they were young. The story is a entertaining how this relationship evolved between them. I enjoyed both of these characters. One, the billionaire Mark, already owns 11 restaurants and Sabrina is a hard working actress who is trying to make a career on Broadway.
I love this book. I have read few of Gigi Marlowe other books and I think this is my favorite story she has written. The storyline kept me engaged the whole time and I didn’t want to put the book down. I loved the characters in this book.

I adored this sweet and clean romance about a billionaire restauranteur and aspiring actress. I had previously read some of Ms. Marlowe’s other books featuring Valentina Del Torre, and enjoyed them all. This story was a little bit different than the others because the two characters that were matched and sent on a blind date actually already knew each other. In fact, their families grew up together. I liked that they had a strong foundation to begin with, and I think it made their story even sweeter. I am a sucker for friends-to-lovers romances, and this one didn’t disappoint. It was well-told, and had just the right amount of fun, conflict, and warmth. I also loved the ending, and will definitely look for more books from Ms. Marlowe in the future. Valentina strikes again! No one knows how she does it, but she has not failed yet with her matchmaking. Mark is a busy restauranteur that has no time for dating. When Valentina meets him, she realizes she has the perfect woman for him. She arranges for Mark and Celeste/Sabrina to meet and when they do, they are each surprised when they see their childhood friend is their date.

Valentina works her matchmaking magic again
Billionaire restauranteur Mark is not looking for love. He just wants to work and grow his empire. Even his best friend can’t convince him to look. But when Matchmaker Extraordinaire Valentina calls and tells him that she’s found the perfect woman for him, he reluctantly agrees. How bad can it be?
Actress Celeste (Sabrina to her friends) gets Valentina’s call and is floored. She didn’t think the matchmaker would remember her the one time they met. She’s not looking for love either but she’s intrigued. So she goes on the date, only to realize that the man she’s supposed to meet is her brother’s best friend Mark. They decide that they would continue their date as friends. Just friends, right?
It takes less than three hours for this family-friendly romance between a restauranteur and an actress who had known each other since childhood but been separated by their careers.

Valentina has outdone herself in matching Sabrina and Mark. A hunch leads her to match these two for a blind date. What she didn’t know was they already knew each other. There are many questions/problems on whether they should take their relationship from friends to romance. An entertaining story.
